Getting some gift cards from one of my favourite stores and being able to order SVU DVDs to Complete my set

My little brother just graduated and he's gonna be moving in with my partner and I soon! I'm mega excited about it and just wanted to talk about it I guess!

my friend and i have a very safe get together planned in a couple weeks to get schoolwork done. i have a large soft spot for study dates.

I bought myself an iPad Pro and using procreate on it is so much fun!! I’ve been having so much trouble all month getting on the laptop to draw so this will make my life so much easier!! I’m looking forward to being active with art again!!!!

I'm getting a hamster! I'm so happy too.
My mom feels like hamsters are like mice and she didn't want one in the apartment at first,
But I think she saw how much it would mean to me to have a pet again, and she's now willing to put up with one for my own happiness...
And that just made my day! I've been so happy and excited that I haven't been able to sleep properly for days

I have been really struggling to get any sleep lately and maybe got a total of two hours of sleep last night. I fell asleep on the couch while watching a show with my husband and, as soon as he realized it, he paused the show so I wouldn't miss any of it, covered me with a blanket, and put on a record real quiet so I would sleep better <3 he made sure to take the dogs into the other room too since they can be a bit overzealous with their cuddles. Come to find out he also went to the effort of taking his shoes off before doing anything since he didn't want his footsteps to wake me up.

i got lots of homework turned in! catching up and getting ahead feels very nice lmao

also i saw a raccoon for the first time in real life today
and now i know that a raccoon lives in the bushes across the street from my work, and knowing that he's there is all i needed in my life

a friend gushing about their roleplay characters. their enthusiasm/passion was just adorable. (puppy?!) they seemed happy jabbering about it, so i'm glad i was someone they could talk to. (it was enjoyable for me as well!)

also.... their characters/worlds are out of this world! (we both kind of fangirled over them.)

it inspired me to work my own (incomplete) characters and stories, so that was cool.^^
