this trade is an overpay on their side. to be specific your pets dont even add up to a '10 vr, wwhich would be fair for a '9 rare. Or at least from what I remember when I played a while back with my cousin

A 2016 store pet is worth a mid-2009 rare. If any demand is involved, that's up to you guys. But I would say 2 of their 2010 rates equals one 2009 rare, so anything other than that they are overpaying and this would be a good trade to accept.

I’d like to know too! For reference, my rat is an omg so rare re-release from July 2008 (ex-main list), and on Lexi’s side there are four ex-Advent list pets :)

This would be a fair trade. Any outcome of the rat goes for 3-4 mid advents to 6-8 mid advents (0.5 non).
Depending on how the rat is valued by both parties, the other non ex-list pets could stay or be removed. Just up to you guys how you value the rat. Hope that helps!

Could I get a read on this? I'm pretty sure it's unfair to them but with how much they're offering in the 2:1 rule I'm kind of wondering if there's a higher than average demand with these pets?

Also, they mentioned they're very new to trades and not 100% certain of themselves with trades and if I edit it, why I did in terms of fairness. I would like to be able to send a reply to them with a quick explanation on it (along with sending the obligatory "list and demand can vary this by a long shot" and a link to this forum/topic, of course!)

Unfair to them. Even though your pets are somewhat older, the top is still overpay. At most, their uncommon for your pets would be moderately fair.
