merry christmas from myself and the entire cac staff! when i went to hand out some gifts for my friends today, i was missing a whole pile! the cats seemed to really want these gifts, and they hid them in other staff members' posts too. inky, ariento, and i are looking everywhere for these presents! can you help us find them?

regardless of which staff member's posts you find the present in, you must pm me, eagle, to receive your prize. otherwise it will not count!

this time there are special presents! whoever finds one of the hidden presents will be able to request one custom trait for a cat. because these cats are custom, they will not be given to you immediately. i ask for some patience on these cats, as each will be customized to fit your request.

the presents have been hidden somewhere in my cs posts, all relating to cac. these include the fanclub, the main thread, readoption thread, the gathering thread, even my character and writing archives. i will post on the fanclub when a present has gone missing, and the first person to pm me (on cs only, i will not be checking discord for this event) a link to the post with the present will receive a cat that can be added into their clan. this post will be edited when the present is found.

1. the presents can be in any of my cs posts (or, for this round, Ariento's or inky.'s), so long as they are related to cac. this includes the fanclub, readoption thread, gathering thread, characters and writing archives, as well as the main thread.
2. the present on this post does not count. it is just as example.
3. you must pm the link to the present to me. if you post it on the fanclub, it will not count. i am only checking my cs pms for the link, any other claiming of the present will not count.
4. you may find one present per round; each present may only be found once.
5. please do not complain about the cat you are given. if you don't like them, you can choose not to receive them but you cannot ask for a different cat.
6. you may only participate and be eligible to win if you have made a post on cac in the past month or have a founding post that has been replied to by a mod, and you have made a post since then. these cats do not count towards the 5 cat trading limit.

As it so happens, I was born on New Year's Eve. So tonight's contest with be a dual celebration of both New Year's and my birthday! Five winners will each get one cat from the batch below.

This will be a moodboard making contest! For each cat you'd like to enter for, make a moodboard that you feel best represents the cat. You can theme it after appearance, personality, or anything you can think of.

Fireworks are a traditional way to celebrate the new year. Now, my family and I always spend New Years indoors, but sometimes we watch the fireworks on TV! This little curly-haired cat has the fireworks emblazoned on their pelt, what a festive look!

Is there a better way to start the new year than with a bottle of champagne? Yes. Ever since I was a kid, we'd celebrate with sparkling apple cider instead. It's sweet and delicious and I love it. This Bengal's spotted coat resembles the bubbles of a pale fizzy drink - champagne or sparkling cider? Winner's choice ;)

My favorite cat breeds are the Bengal, Cashmere (long-haired Bengal), and the Topaz. Since we've already got a Bengal here, I brought in a lovely Topaz cat to celebrate with us too! Fun fact! My first CaC birthday cat was a Topaz!

So I've been hyperfixating on this video game trilogy lately, and one of the running themes in the series is Schrödinger's cat. I won't bore you with an explanation, so here's a cat that looks alive and dead at the same time! Ghostly grays and lively browns!
