same!! my family does gifts on the eve and then proper celebrations on the day :”)

ah well, this might sound a bit strange, but it's actually nothing like that ^^;
we always wake up and instead of greeting the rest of the family, the first thing out of our mouths is "christmas eve gift" and you have to try and get people with it before they get you. my stepdad woke me up at like 8:30 this morning like "hey hey, hey" and I'm not even speaking English at this point, and I hear him say "christmas eve gift" and I'm just thinking damn it because I should have seen it coming
