Min-Jun - the infamous delinquent from Hillsdale, is a pain in the ass to all teachers around. Externally, there isn't mu
ch to say. Grades just sufficient to not be failed, scarcely have homework, and ditches class like no one has ever befor
e, with the principal's office like his second home. Whenever he gets into trouble for having another parking lot fight w
ith neighboring school students, the students at Hillsdale all have the same question- why? Hillsdale, a rigorous high s
chool with high academic requirements for acceptance -why is he not expelled yet? Or rather, how is he even here? Ma
ny students have inquiries about whether or not he tested into Hillsdale like the rest of them - which of course he did,
as everyone knows that there is no way of cheating the system. Rumors regarding Min-Jun flying in the air in every cor
ner of Hillsdale, of course, rarely does anyone say them to his face. When asked about Min-Jun, Wuhao, Min-Jun's clos

un, the head delinquent, the headache of Hillsdale high, is only a little kid on the inside.

boopnaomi had woken up minutes before his alarm that morning- which was something he had normally worked to avoid. however, he wasn't complaining- it just meant that he got an early start on the day.
boopit wasn't too different for his parents to see him up earlier than usual. naomi knew that sometimes they expected him to sleep in later than his alarm- given that he often stayed up past twelve sometimes to cram in whatever extra credit he may have gotten his hands on. it's not like naomi ever listened, though. having gotten into such a prestigious school (through testing and getting high scores, might i add) he felt the need to get such high marks on his assignments, get such high grades so he can maintain that image he had gained.
boophis image was precious to him. it was weird to have such an idea seen as precious, but he didn't want to slip up and do something that would taint that image. sleeping in late would ruin his perfect attendance (or, the streak he had maintained since the first and the last time he had gotten sick and needed to stay home) and lack of tardiness. and, allowing his grades to drop would ruin that top-student reputation he had. wrinkles in his uniform, and disheveled hair would make him look sloppy: and he didn't like being seen in such ways.
boopand getting up earlier than his alarm gave him time to perfect the little things he picked at: to maintain that image.
boophowever, that did not mean he wanted to have an early start on hearing his few friends mumbling about what antics some other person is a part of. he didn't care for that at all, let alone the things they had to say about him. on one hand, soobin was busy gushing about how utterly good he was at being bad: claiming that he was one of the better people at the school, how he was oh-so tolerable compared to the other money hogging students. he didn't mind the other half of the conversation, that was run solely on nods and huffs of air. because he wasn't interested in it, just as naomi wasn't.
boopnaomi lingered behind his friends, staring down at his phone with as little enthusiasm as he could. with ear buds tucked into his ears after the first few words his friends were talking over, the sounds from the few instagram posts were humming into his ears. it had done a rather good job of distracting him, at least for a few minutes, before they had come to a sudden halt. and, because he wasn't paying attention, he ran straight into their back, drawing huffs from both of them.
boop"naomi, the least you can do when you're with us is pay attention to where you're going," soobin spoke, pulling one of his ear buds from his ears. "you're going to like, i don't know, die if you don't start paying attention to where you're going."
boopthe brunet huffed through his nose, pulling his other ear bud from his ear, "it's not like i need to. not when you guys stop in front of me like that." he retorted softly, rolling up his ear buds around his hand and reaching down to tuck it into the front pocket of his bag. "both of you make a pretty good barrier. so i think i'll just use that to my temporary advantage."
boophis friends both shared a tiny laugh, but had then gone back on their tangents about who they admired. soobin then went on and on and on about someone that went by the name of mun minjun- a name that naomi could have easily sworn he wasn't going to hear again after the last year.
boop"i thought he graduated?" naomi stepped forward again, sliding between the two of them as he essentially interrupted their conversation. "did he not?"

boop"jeesh," soobin muttered as she swatted her hair over her shoulder, adjusting her blazer as she turned and glared at naomi for shoving himself between them. not that he paid any mind for the way that she acted because of it, though. "for your information, though, mimi, no, he didn't."
boopnaomi let out a small breath of his own, his lips pouted slightly as he turned his eyes away. had he really not realized that someone hadn't graduated? school had started awhile ago─ and yet he had still failed to catch sight of the particular 'senior' of his. it was more than likely for good reason though, he concluded, from what soobin and hui were saying proudly. he didn't need to be getting involved with someone who had such a bad record with the teachers. besides, people were far from his interest─ and the character that minjun paraded around as certainly wasn't someone he was going to get himself mixed up with.
boophui let out a laugh of his own, his head turned in another direction. he had then motioned with his hands, which raised soonbin's and naomi's eyes both towards the people he was motioning at. "ah, would you speak of the devil," he snickered, leaning over and gently giving soobin's shoulder a shove, "you say his name three times and he shows up. maybe if you tried that with mingli-"
boophis friends voices were fast to fade as naomi slowly came to a stop, his head tilted to the side and his eyebrows furrowed. if minjun was still there, did that mean he had failed the year before? or had he made the choice to stay an extra year, for whatever reasons he may have been able to come up with?
boopnaomi clenched his jaw slightly, finally pulling his eyes away from minjun. what further confused him was why minjun was standing outside while everyone else was going inside for food. normally everyone would be in there waiting on their friends or getting their own food, even eating, before going outside─ so seeing minjun (and who was it he was with?) leaving the cafeteria alone entirely completely boggled his mind.
boop"oh, crap- naomi!" the brunet snapped his head in his friends' direction, eyes wide before he gave them a tiny smile, nodding his head. casting one final glance in minjun's direction with once again furrowed eyebrows, naomi gently grabbed the strap of his school back and began to walk to his friends, giving them a little smile.

MUN MINJUN
'I don't know '
MINJUN glanced back quickly over his shoulder, catching one last glimpse a the brown-haired boy before leading Wuhao off in the direction of the school boarder.
"The food is crap in here- we're eating outside today." He declared, straightening his back. Minghao's eyebrows furrowed inquisitively, turning his head back and forth from Minjun and the far away cafeteria.
"But what is with the guy-" Before he got to finish, the back of Minjun's bag met poor Minghao's head. "Ay, stop it with the questions." Minjun rolled his eyes. As he talked, he jumped up, getting a step on the wall before heaving himself up. Dusting off his hands, he looked back down at Minghao "You coming or not? Hurry up- I want to get some kebabs."
"Ayo, was that Naomi?" Minghao grinned big, leaning close to Minjun. Minjun furrowed his nose as he leaned away from the grinning boy. He waved his fist, threatening. "I think that I should do everyone a favor and make sure you remember what being beat up feels like."
Minghao laughed, pretending to beg for mercy. "Aight boss, my bad, my bad." After wolving down a few more kebabs, Minghao looked up again, this time more serious. "Seriously though, boss, what are you going to do about Naomi?" Minjun frowned, his hand frustratingly tapping on his knee.
"I don't know."
Why would someone like him even want to talk to me?
ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ɢᴏɴɴᴀ ᴛᴇʟʟ ᴀ ʟɪᴇ ᴀɴᴅ ʜᴜʀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ
"Yes, that is correct. You have not heard wrong- I have not gotten old enough to forget what I had just said thirty seconds ago." The man's eye twitched, nostrils slightly flaring as he focused on the dirty shoe that has planted in front of him. "And can you please take your foot off of my desk? You are almost knocking over my fancy principal plaque."
Although glaring at the principal, Minjun took his foot off the desk- before planting his hands loudly in its place. "What do you mean he has to watch over me? I'm perfectly fine on my own."
The principal raised his eyebrow, leaning back on his leather chair, before spinning around slowly. "Let's see, attendance.. barely, grades.. you don't turn in any assignments except for tests, social interaction.. none." He stopped, facing Minjun again, propping his chin up with his hands, before looking up with a smile. " 'perfectly fine'? Boy, you live in my office." He gestured to the messy sofa behind him. "Literally."
Minjun's brows furrowed, "It's too boring in here- what else am I supposed to do except for sleep?"
The principal decided to ignore Minjun, pushing him to the side with the back of his hand- smiling at the proper boy that Minjun had blocked from his view prior.
"Naomi, I'm counting on you."

boopNaomi's attention that was once lingering over the thought of Mun Minjun was quickly shoved into the thought of how completely and utterly ridiculous Kwon Soobin and Han Hui were being the moment they had acquired their beloved food. None of which Naomi could get himself to be interested in, especially because the school prepared meals looked unappetizing. Much more appetizing than any food he had ever tried to cook on his own. His own food was simply much, much better, though, and that much he could easily admit.
boop"So," Hui had said, immediately grabbing Naomi's attention for doing so. "You were really lollygagging back there─ anything you'd care to tell us?"
boopHui then recoiled away from the girl sitting beside him, and Naomi assumed that she had stabbed him in the side with her finger. "Where have your manners gone, Han Hui? Leave the poor boy alone. He's probably distracted by school work like he always is."
boopLetting a snort through his nose, Naomi turned his eyes down to the little napkin he had folded in front of him, small apple slices placed on top of it. Initially, there there for him to eat. However, after a moment of staring at the fruit: he couldn't bring himself to eat it. So, lightly, Naomi lightly shoved the napkin towards the bickering pair in front of him. And, just as expected─ like a flock of ravens ─they snatched at the apple slices.
boopboopbeedoopboop♫
boopBeing called into the principals office for such a thing wasn't uncommon. But it wasn't necessarily common, either.
boopNaomi knew he wasn't in trouble; that much he could say. However, he wasn't entirely sure why he was the one chosen of all of the other academically talented students. Especially considering the reason behind it. Naomi had a streak, despite his very polished and spotless streak for excellent academic grades, when it came to his lack of a social life. So that much made so little sense to him.
boopThe brunet stayed back behind the other student, his hands tucked behind his back and his bag gently set on the floor beside his feet as he observed Minjun and the principal. The interaction all on it's own caused him to scrunch up his nose─ especially when he heard the reasons for him being called in all over again ─before turning his eyes down.
boopNaomi's eyebrows raised the moment he was addressed again, and he quickly nodded his head in the older man's direction. He then rolled his shoulders back again, trying to get himself to relax before offering a slightly forced smile onto his lips.
boop"I'll try my best not to let you down."
