❛lynn headed to the pokemon lab, where the professor said they only had one remaining fire type pokemon. lynn didn't mind, because when they laid their eyes on the pokemon, they were beyond happy. it was an adorable little tepig!

❛pogo headed to the pokemon lab, where the professor happily waited for them. they took a look at plenty of pokemon, but none seemed to catch their eye.

"what about this one? they're a little..trouble maker...but i'm sure you two will get along well!" the professor said, introducing you to a chikorita. after a few moments of meeting the 'trouble maker', you agree.

"great! here, you'll be needing these!" the professor said, handing you a bag of pokeballs and a pokedex.❜

As you walk along the road you
see a Cyndaquil running on the road. That's strange.. wasn't that a starter choice? The Cyndaquil looked happy running around like it has been here a long time

James walked closer to the Cyndaquil, very excited to see it here. It was so cute ! He turned to Bulbasaur. "Troye, wanna catch us a new teammate ?" he asked. The Bulbasaur nodded and looked at Cyndaquil, seeming determined.

"Hey, Cyndaquil !" James called to it. "Can we battle with you ? I wanna add you to my team !"

The cyndaquil perked up at you with its flames flaring up, a sign it wanted to fight as well. This will be a tough fight.

The red haired trianer scoffed at how the girl treated her pokemon. When the attack hit home and golett agian cried out azalie flinched in sympathy for the pain it was feeling before holding up a pokeball. " you did great golett time to come back now,iroh your turn" with a red flash of light golett disappeared and iroh stepped from the side of his trianer to the front. " alright iroh use ember" charmander grinned at this command before blasting the poor psychic pokemon with a burst of flame.

The meditite cried as it fell over "You can't quit now!" the trainer was frustrated but the meditite was done.. With a red flash it returned to the pokeball.

I look deeply into the Shiny Cyndaquil's eyes, "I think I call you Quil." He squeals and jumps into my arms and the professor looks at me and says "I think you'll get along just fine. Off you go, start your adventure!" He says flinging his arms in the air dramatically. As we walk out my heart fills with pride and happiness. "Cynda, Cyndaquil!" Cyndaquil shouted with a happy look in his eyes. "Well, I guess your ready, huh, buddy? Why don't we start towards the tall grass see if we can find another friend for you or maybe even evolve you!" I thought out loud. And on we went, towards the tall grass.

As you follow Quil through the undergrowth you hear a noise. "Cyndaquil." Quil says, cautiously walking towards the sound. You peer from behind a tree to see the pokemon. They both seem wild, and one of them looks different, kind of like Quil's situation. They're playing together, you bring out your Pokedex to see what it says. Level 17 wild Servine. Level 14 wild Heatmor. Those levels are pretty high, maybe you could get them to join your team without fighting?

Two cheerful pokemon are playing with each other! One seems to be a shiny!

"Oh my goodness, Quil! Another shiny?!" I look down at him and he stares at the Servine with a confused look but seems excited to go play with them. "Quil... I don't know if you understand what I mean when I say it's quite risky..." Quil seemed to understand and lowers his head upsettingly. "OK, fine! We can go see if they want to play with you, maybe you can even try and battle them if they wouldn't mind." Quil quickly dashed toward them as soon as I finish my sentence with an excited expression. A stroll behind him but I keep my distance just in case they are hostile or skittish. Imidiantly, Servine and Heatmore look up at the noise of us passing through the bushes. Heatmore's expression turned aggressive as he hopped in front of Servine to protect it, although there was no need for that. Quil ran towards the heatmore, smiling happily, "Quil, lava lavaaaaa!" I didn't quite understand his exact words but the heatmore sure did. Both the heatmore and Quil squared up for battle as the clever servine sat a few short paces away, curious to see how everything played out.
