You head to the lab excitedly for your first ever pokemon. You were thinking about getting a fire type, but it really depended on how they looked. You finally make it to the lab, it wasn't crowded and only two or three other people were in there. The professor saw you and quickly headed over. "Bella! Hello there, last time you saw me you wanted a fire type, yes?" You nodded. "Well, just a few days ago, an oddly coloured Cyndaquil hatched from one of our eggs. It's level five, now, and it qualifies to be a starter, would you like to see it?" You nod, very interested now, and followed him into a small room of fire types. The Cyndaquil in question seemed to be very popular with the pokemon in there. You find yourself rushing over and the Cyndaquil raises it's head, happily waving its arms towards you. Suddenly, the strange pokemon jumps on one of your shoulders, it seems it wants to go with you. After the professor hands you a pokedex, you exit the lab, ready to begin your adventure.

I look deeply into the Shiny Cyndaquil's eyes, "I think I call you Quil." He squeals and jumps into my arms and the professor looks at me and says "I think you'll get along just fine. Off you go, start your adventure!" He says flinging his arms in the air dramatically. As we walk out my heart fills with pride and happiness. "Cynda, Cyndaquil!" Cyndaquil shouted with a happy look in his eyes. "Well, I guess your ready, huh, buddy? Why don't we start towards the tall grass see if we can find another friend for you or maybe even evolve you!" I thought out loud. And on we went, towards the tall grass.
