I like them. But not because it is cool, I liked them long before I knew how everyone liked them on the internet.
I am definitely not a wolfaboo though, I recognize that they are wild, and that there is wolf hunting for a reason. I do not consider them more important than humans the way some wolf lovers do.

Though they are amazing animals, they are still not my favorite. I like a lot of animals more.

I love wolves, and of course, I conclude humans as more valueable and priceless then wolves because we, as talking mammals, are more educated and such, doing thinks animal nature can't do.

I love them. They are such beautiful animals! I wish they weren't wild so I could keep one as a pet. Im a big dog fan, so anything in the dog family, I love wolves, foxes, jackals, wild dogs, dingos ect. ^^ Im concidering doing wildlife conservation when Im older, jsut so I can help them.

Wolves are by far my favourite animals, and not because I am following all the people who like them because they are the "wild and free" version of their dog. I respect their strength, and they keep it to themselves very well, and rarely kill humans for no apparent reason like the "cute and cuddly" bear. I find them very regal and beautiful animals, with very graceful actions, even when they are chasing prey whilst bounding through snow. They are also very intelligent animals, with amazing social skills and pack balance. Every wolf has it's place, and they are made sure that they know that place, and depending on how intelligent and dominant you are, the higher your rank, and I respect this greatly.

Wolves may be popular on the internet, especially in roleplays, but do people who roleplay as wolves and are "wolf-a-boos" actually help protect them? No, they very rarely do. Thankfully, the North American Gray is not at risk, but Etheopian Wolves are critically endangered, and Mexican Grey Wolves are extinct in the wild, all because of stories and people not caring about them simply because they are "big bad wolves", "womanisers", "kidnappers", "enemies to mankind". People would rather join the millions of people donating to save endangered (not critically endangered or extinct in the wild) tigers, vunerable lions, or endangered chimpanzees. Most people don't even know of the Mexican Grey Wolf, and if they hear about it, most are not interested in the slightest.

Children are grown up to know only about African animals, and a few Indian ones, and oh yes, don't forget the bears! Wolves are the most misunderstood animal on this planet, the majority of people are petrified of them because they have learnt from their parents that they eat children and kill everything deviously in their sights. When the reality is, they are one of the least dangerous predatory mammals out there, considering the size of them.

This is why I love wolves.

I love wolves, but not because everyone else does. I have been interested and fascinated by wolves ever since I was nine or so, and it angers me that people poach some wolf species. Most of them are endangered. I guess you could call me a wolfaboo, but NEVER a furvert. I just respect the way they can work together as a team, better then people can sometimes. They are beautiful predators, and should be left alone in the wild instead of taken out and treated as pets. Unless your are starting a conservation program, you should not have a wolf. They are not pets.

I agree, by taking a wolf as a pet you are endangering yourself and animals in your neighborhood. They are wild animals and people cant seem to understand that.
With dog-wolf hybrids they are better than owning a pure wolf but I still don't support it and I would never get one myself.

Yes, like what I said above, I don't take them as more important then humans, but they are my top rank favorite animals. I love them for their intelligence, strength, and cooperation. I also admire and stare at them with awe because of the designs of their pelts and how free and wild they are. I really hate the misunderstanding of them, because fact is, wolves nearly never go humans because they are shy, and will kill if to defend themselves. They have a bad reputation in most areas, and take 'Red Riding Hood', and 'The Three Little Pigs' for example. A wolf ate someone in those stories, and I dislike that, because those two legends and folk-tales are popular.
