You said I gave you butterflies
"Please don't." I begged Laurel, cradling her soft nimble hands on my lap.
"I'm no good for you, Samson." Laurel whispered in her angelic voice, avoiding my careful gaze.
"I love you." I choked out. I watched as Laurel raised from her seat, her hands left mine- leaving me only holding the air that hovered around us.
Then you flew out of my life, baby
"No you don't." Laurel said, tears welling up in her eyes. I opened my mouth to say something, but suddenly stopped as her soft gaze turned into rage. "You don't love me!" She cried. "You're blinded by lust! It's so different from love!" She wailed.
"Laurel.." I whispered, but only ended up being interrupted.
"All men are the same!" She shouted. I slowly rose to my feet and pulled her into a hug. I felt her fists pound against my chest, but I held her there, knowing she would give in.
"No we're not." I said looking down at her.
Butterflies
"I love you Samson, but.." Laurel said trailing off as she rubbed her eyes.
"But what?" I asked.
"Goodbye." Laurel murmured, pressing her lips against my mouth for a moment before she left my arms forever.
Then you flew out of my life

It doesn't make sense I know xD But it's just a little part of a story I'm writing on my computer, it's in like the fifth chapter.. It would make more sense if you were to read the first part of my book.

They call me independence
Wave your flag in the sky
You deserve to fly it high
They called me independence
But now my show comes to a close
As all the people loose their woes

Opening in 3...
Fighting. Death. Power. It was all I knew. And to think I was simply a disposable piece to their game, playing along like a good boy.
2...
I killed my own comrades, siblings, friends. They always did say my power was pure, like none had ever viewed. And now because of it I lay waiting in a damp, dark room, waiting for some idiotic human to open the door that held my future.
1...
My enemy would die. I was, indeed, the champion of the arena. The White Death, Silver Flame, Spitter of the White Fire. And everyone here knows, the lighter your fire color, the more powerful.
The doors flung open at a marvelous pace for being made of such thick, heavy steel. Unimpressive to me.
The usual squeals of humans clouded the air. The arena was different today, as always. Tall mounds of sand that climbed towards the sky spread across the arid ground.
All was normal and tiring as usual. Until of course, I saw the human’s focus was not on the legendary white dragon. Instead, they locked on the other color of lore.
Across from me stood a red dragon, proud and arrogant.
Just a reason for him to die more quickly.

More to come.
