2020 Advent + Hanukkah - Pet, Item & Event Discussion

i love love love when there are remixes on old designs, or they're put onto new pets. every time a see the dialogue in the adoption panel that's like 'these look familiar...' i get so excited to see how the designs have been used or what pets have been aged up!

I really like this one. I didn't recognize the design until I saw the dog. It's a very simple yet pretty design.


Also, for some reason I feel like this exact cat has already been released?? Like I know there was a dog PPS of the same design, but I swear I've seen this cat before... (I know there's not, it's just weird that it feels so familiar!)

This cat's a fake! It doesn't have the faded background text like the UR dog version does!

(I'm kidding of course. Still, I think it would have been a nice touch.)

Is it just me, or did the Hanukkah stuff seem really phoned in this year? As someone who doesn't celebrate Christmas I'm kinda disappointed that we only got five pets and a few items. I would have at least liked some Hanukkah-themed clothes for my pets. Not knocking the artists at all, what we did get was fine.

No smaller than any other year. Hanukkah usually has just a few pets and items.

It is only a small celebration, and at least they released more pets and items during the event, but I’ll agree that it makes me upset that there was so much Advent stuff in comparison as I don’t celebrate it.
Also, it isn’t over yet? Because of the way the days work and stuff, or something like that… Is there more stuff coming?

Hanukka is always small here.
Advent ends the 25th. (but last day prizes usually stay up til end of month)
Sometimes we also get a few things for Kwanzaa.
Be grateful they celebrate the smaller holidays at all, not many sites do.
