depends on what it's needed for. honestly i havent used adhesives in a very long time..
glue sticks are the best, i think. but tape is very useful

Oooooh, I love making up metaphors and analogies and all that kind of stuff. I don't know if anyone else has made the connection yet, but I can find tons of parallels between school and Pokemon. Like, the fact that different school districts emulate different Smogon tiers in that the varying degrees of competitiveness and academic prowess distorts your view of what "good" vs. "bad" grades are. A Gothitelle fighting in Ubers will look weak compared to a Gothitelle fighting in NU, even if they're the same Gothitelle. I've also used the move Grass Knot as an analogy for what it feels like to fail after a long streak of success, because failure hurts worse the more of a "heavyweight" you are, so to speak.
Oh, and I coined the term "carrotpenning" for when you expose someone's hypocrisy by using their own words against them in an argument, after the carrot-shaped pen/recorder that Judy Hopps uses in Zootopia.
