Mooneye looked through her herbs, sorting them from one another. Feather Hazel goes here.... Peppermint goes there... She thought to herself as she continued to separate the herbs into different piles.

"I'm going to hunt at the sheer cliffs." Without looking back, Fogpaw padded towards the grey, smooth stone. Spotting a vole, she pounced and snapped its neck. She buried it and kept walking. Coming to the cliffs, she saw Distantgaze jump onto the summit. "Distantgaze! What are you doing!" She cried out fearfully, "You could die!"

"Go see if you can find anymore cats." Lynxstar ordered Ripplehawk, who had just sat down to eat a mouse. He stood up, yawned, and padded silently out of camp. He stopped at the Avalanche Paths and trekked down until he reached Bearplace. He spotted Mooneye, the Medicine Cat of his clan, just before he spotted the bear cub wobbling towards her. Quickly, he darted and grabbed her by the scruff. Finally in safety, he got a mouse and nudged it towards her.

Distantgaze looked behind to see the apprentice, her eyes blank and sad, but with a smile on her face. "Wasn't that always the plan? My parents never cared, they abandoned me. So did everyone else. So why do you care?" She asked, tilting her head, before taking another step forward.

Mooneye stayed silent before speaking. "I thank you for saving me, but the Clan needs the prey more than I do. I shall find something for myself later." She meowed before padding back outside and toward the camp, her blind eyes flashing. It's so stupid that no cat thinks I can care for myself! I'm a medicine cat, I save lives everyday, so why do they think I'm helpless?! She gave an angry snarl before running back to camp. It felt good to be alone for once.

Fogpaw looked confused, then shouted "I want you to be here? You seem like a great cat! Come and share this mouse with me!" She was pretty naive.

He watched her go, then padded to go hunt. He caught a shrew and a rabbit, then brought them back to camp and ate one, falling asleep.

Personality: Reedsprout is a very loyal cat, as well as dedicated and hardworking. She can get overwhelmed easily though, especially when given too many instructions at one time. She is very logical-thinking, and does not often indulge in idealism. She is protective, assertive, and intensely passionate as well.

She tilted her head again, looked at the cliffs again, and then padded over to Fogpaw. "Do you really mean it?" She said skeptically, but there was a slight tone of hopefulness in her voice.

Mooneye ran and ran before stopping and turning back. But maybe they're right... I do need help sometimes... I should say sorry to Ripplehawk... The she-cat looked for Ripplehawk and then remembered - "Ah! Dogpaw!" She remembered the young tom and scented the air, trying to locate him. She picked out the scent and hurried over to him, slightly panicked. "Are you okay-?" Then she remembered he was deaf and nudged him. She couldn't keep the purr out of her voice - it was good to see he was okay. She sniffed him silently, checking him for wounds. "Dear StarClan, you scared me! Where were you? You had us all worried sick!" She scolded, though she knew he couldn't hear her. She sighed and flicked her tail towards where the medicine den was - or where she thought it was - before padding off, scenting the air for Ripplehawk. "Ripplehawk?" She called out quietly. "I guess I'm not as capable of taking care of myself as I thought... Can't even pick out his scent... Could barely figure out which was Dogpaw's... Hm..." She sat down and began to ponder the thought of asking Lynxstar if she could have someone to help her get around.
