I loved the snake answers 😍
New question, does anyone have a star or constellation that's their favorite? Or that they feel a connection with?

When I made my first staff dog, I dived into the rabbit hole of star constellations and ever since then I feel a connection to - surprise - the hare constellation (which I did put onto my staff dog), particularly towards Alpha Leporis/Arneb.

Q: Do y'all do other online games together? I have seen posts about to guys playing Among Us, but do you play other games like Minecraft?

Nadine and I play League of Legends sometimes! I've also done some Jackbox nights with the others over Discord.

MatchaParfait wrote:Any games you staff play? If so what’s your username?

League, Minecraft, osu!, and Overwatch are some of my main games ^^ I'm also a huge Nintendo fan! I don't like to give my usernames out in public.

I want to be a famous author when I grow up (and yes, I am an entire adult, lol). When I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher, I suppose, but being an author has been a dream for me since I first read Tamora Pierce's books. I have self-published some things so far, but hopefully one day I'll have a YA Fantasy series traditionally published. (Oh, and my real job is working as a clerk for a courthouse.)

I am still holding out hope to be the first vet/astronaut but as I get older and pursue degrees not related to that at all, its starting to look like a thin chance . . .

as a young adult I wanted to work in international affairs kind of stuff. I love government and world government. I also like environmental law and policy stuff, so that has an international aspect.
I ended up not being too far off. I am an almost lawyer (one more semester in law school, I can practice under an attorneys license now though), and I mainly work in research and policy, although I did do a stint in the prosecutors office.

I do always joke though that if I was better at maths, I would have been an engineer! just seems like a super cool job??

I never actually had something I wanted to be when I grow up, I still don't (and been a full growed adult for a while now oof). I think I told people 'vet' as a kid cause I liked animals and that was the acceptable answer if you like animals, but I never had any serious interest in a medical field, and one time at school they had us do test that was supposed to tell us what job we would be good in, and it gave me architect. I mean I know I'm a little good at analytical thinking but I'm not that good at math or...everything else you need to be an architect. Even after finishing school I had absolutely no clue. Only classes I enjoyed in school were art, and my parents (ie, my mom) was absolutely dead set on her kid not going to art school. She considers it a dead-end career (that and the culinary arts) and I had to pick something else.

So I floated around for a while, literally went into the military (coast guard) cause I didn't have any better idea what to do (to be fair to my younger self, I kinda got pushed into it and at least it was the reason I finally found out I've got social anxiety). Turns out they don't like people with anxiety disorders in the military, so that didn't last long. I still wasn't sure what I wanted to do with myself, I'd briefly considered marine biology simply because it seemed vaguely interesting. Eventually I decided that if I couldn't find something I was passionate about, at least pick something that will be useful, have a decent income, and a growing job market. So I did a few years in college for IT support, a short volunteer stint so I'd have the 'experience' everyone wanted, and here I am, internal IT help desk employee who has social anxiety and doesn't like answering the phone (Its actually not /that/ bad, I specifically picked a job not talking to customers, just other employees from my company, and the calls always go 1 of 2 ways. Either easy problem and I fix it, or hard problem and I send to someone else to fix).

I have come to realize I really enjoy taking apart computers, or really any electronics, just cause I'm interested in how they work, and I think its cool how each part works together to create the miracle boxes we take for granted today. So I suppose if there is something I 'want to be when I grow up' I think it would be nice to eventually go into a job where I get to do that, or at least as a side hobby/income. Currently I don't get to do that for my job, I did some while volunteering and I've since taken apart a few of my own things and some of my parent's stuff (It all still works btw, even fixed the wireless keyboard they were gonna trash). There are also a variety of IT jobs I can specialize in from where I am now (which is more just general IT), so maybe I will find one I really like. I think learning a coding language eventually would also be cool and useful.

I can't say I'm, uh, 'passionate' about IT/computers or anything but I have a strong interest, and hey even if robots take over the world I'll probably still have a job.

Not sure that was the answer you were looking for but thats all I got, I've struggled a lot in this particular area c': If there is anyone else out there also struggling, I feel you, its definitely not easy becoming an adult and realizing you still don't know what you want to be. I can't really say I have good advice about it, but I think its good to know there is a lot more out there than just the jobs you hear about a lot or were taught as a kid (Personally took me a long time to realize IT could be more than just customer support). Even if there isn't something you are passionate about, find something you can be happy doing, and see yourself still doing in 30 years.

My dream jobs back then were definitely more common... astronaut, police officer, doctor... I think those were the main ones.
Yeah, I totally didn't end up being any of those. :'D
