Aiden gave her a hard look, though his eyes were still warm. "It's called hangry, thank-you-very-much." He folded his arms. "As I said, just don't go over the top and keep it to the Ares cabin. Then you and I won't have any problems. Capiche?" He made sure his point was clear before heading for the door a third time, at last stepping out into the cold. "Don't get caught." He added as he departed. With the notorious Juliet Pratten and her pranks handled in the usual Seaver fashion, Aiden upped his pace and hurried through the snow towards the dining pavilion. The boy was eager to get some food in his belly after the morning he'd had, and it might give him the peace and quiet he needed to mull over the topic of the meeting at the Big House. While he did pay attention, Aiden didn't offer much to the meeting aside from the occasional agreements with the rest of the group, which on its own was very unlike him. Truthfully, he needed more time than he'd been given to process the day's events.

“Gross,” Jamie laughed, following Chuck over to the table and looking through the items piled on top. He let out a snort at the satyrs face with the ugly mittens on his horns, then immediately covered his mouth, face going red at the noise he’d just made. He was quickly distracted from his embarrassment, picking up a moth eaten sweater and peering through one of the holes. “How long do you think this stuff has been here?” He asked, tossing the sweater onto the growing pile of rejects. “Whoa,” He gasped, pulling out a fuzzy, neon green sweater from the bottom of the pile. It was the ugliest thing Jamie had ever laid eyes on and he grinned as he held it up in front of him. “What do you think?” He asked, raising his eyebrows.

if only i could keep you in my pocket
to give me some diagnosis of why i'm so hollow
please give me instructions, i promise i'll follow
i tripped on my ankle and fractured my elbow
but doesn't that mean that the tour's gonna sell, though?
i try to explain the good faith that's been wasted
but after an hour, it sounds like complaining
wait, don't go away, can i lie here forever?
you say that i'm better, why don't i feel better?
the universe works in mysterious ways
but i'm starting to think it ain't working for me
doctor, should i be good, should i be good this year?

Skylar Kakitid, 16 years old, Female, Daughter of Hecate, 7 year camper, Location: Camp, Tags: Kenna, Hank, Mira (mentioned)

"Okay! One warming spell coming right up!" Skylar twisted her hands into c-shapes out in front of her and her hands started to glow a dull orange that glowed brighter. She mumbled something under her breath and spread out her hands, transferring the light from her hands to Hank. He glowed orange for a moment then the light was gone. "Aaannnd... Done." She turned to Kenna, "Would you like one?" But Hank was on a roll. He seemed to have a burning question that he needed answered. And Sky knew exactly what that question was. He asked her her favorite snow activity and Sky was about to answer, but then he asked her the next question too quickly. The most obvious one that she thought he would ask first. "Well, I kind of do. I'm not sure if I can tell you... But, hey its going to be announced tonight. What the heck?" She smiled playfully. "Well, it is about a prophecy all the counselors got. The only thing is, it didn't mention who would go or how many would go. So we figured out those who are destined to go had a dream relating to this. The counselor of Aphrodite had a dream like this." She didn't mention she had had one too. She probably wouldn't go, just help whoever would. "So," She smiled wide and playfully again. "Either of you have interesting dreams lately?"

Niji sighed and looked at the camp within. They weren't sure what his parents saw, but he knew it wasn't what he saw.

"You don't have to go if you don't want to." His dad reminded them. Niji wasn't sure who didn't want to go more him or his parents.
Niji shook his head. "No, I have to go. It's for everyone's safety. I-I don't want to hurt anyone." Niji whisered tears burning his eyes.

"Okay. Just remember you can iris message us like Chiron said." His pa said quietly.

"I will pa. As soon as I can." Niji promised.

"Do you have everything? Toothpaste, underwear, hairbrush, deodorant, monster repellent-" his dad was cut off by Niji's pa.

"Hun please. He has everything... I already checked twice."

"Dad!" Niji yelled attracting the attention of a couple campers. "I'm not a child! You don't have to check my bag for me anymore."

"We know." Their parents answered together.
"We just want to keep you safe."

Niji hugged their parents with a blush taking over their face and sighed walking into the barrier and into his new home.

"I- I love you guys!" He yelled while walking before walking around trying to find where he was suppoeed to go.

Agatha "Aggy" Clemson|Female|Unknown (Ares)|Location:Lake---> Showers|tags: Auggie--->open
"My stuff is in the back of cabin 11, cot, giant red suitcase, you can't miss it," Aggy said, frowning as she tried to bring her thoughts up to speed. Better get a move on then, she thought, shivering in her stiffening clothes. She pointed herself back toward the bath house, practically dragging herself through the snow. Trusting the girl was a big ask, but Aggy really didn't have any other options. She was too cold to fight, and that chilled her to the bone even more effectively than the icy plunge.

She hobbled into the showers, enjoying the sudden heat, but feeling the aches in her fingers and toes as the circulation came back. She hopped into a stall and set to work shedding her half-frozen clothes, eager to dip under a hot stream of water.

Ophelia Rogers|Female|Aphrodite|Location: Cabin 10|tags:Pippa, Mira
Ophelia offered a smile to the others and closed the door, but left the talking to Mira, who seemed to have it covered. She wanted to ask the new girl's name, but she figured it would come out soon enough. Instead, she surveyed the room, locating the bed the caramel-girl had chosen and making a mental note of it.

She strode to her own bed and rummaged through the compartments under it before locating her winter trunk, which she tugged out and opened to find her battered blue ski coat. She sighed at the comforting sight. Although it didn't technically fit her anymore and had been ripped and repaired enough times to be crisscrossed with stitches and patches, she thought of it like a dear old friend. She ran a hand over it gently, trying to feel for any weak spots she'd need to work on, then set about on a search for leggings to layer under her jeans. This turned out to be a much more difficult task, and she was practically buried in clothes she had stacked on top of them before she located a pair.

Henry "Hank" Walker|Male|Apollo|Location: ----> Dining Pavilion |tags: Kenna, Sky
"A warming spell would be great!" Hank said, letting the glow fade from his hand. After all, it was only polite to focus on his friend. "Do you have a favorite snow activity?" He asked, gesturing a hand at the whiteness they were currently trudging through. Then he was struck by a thought, and spoke without leaving time for Sky to answer the first question. "So as a head counselor and all, do you know what's going on with the weather?" He searched her face, hoping to find a better answer, a more hopeful answer, than the idea he'd stumbled upon earlier.

Niji looked around wondering where he should go first. Their stomach growled, so he looked for the dining area. Once he found it, it being a large pinic looking area that had the gods' and goddesses' symbol over the designated pinic tables, he made his way over to it. Niji put their bag down on a table before grabbing a plate and making his way towards the table of food. Being in an almost zombie like state he bumped into someone.

"Sorry! I didn't see you." Niji mumbled looking down at their shoes becoming very interested in the colors.

Kenna offered a small wave, her fingers curving towards her palm and opening once more as Skylar caught sight of the two of them. She thankfully seemed rather eager to assist them, which made things a bit easier for the both of them. Though Kenna hadn't ever taken Skylar as the type to put up an argument, especially when it came to her powers (this girl absolutely loved showing off, it seemed), it was still a relief. She wiggled free from Hank's grasp, glancing up at her make-shift umbrella for a brief second before closing her palm, allowing the object to disintegrate into thin air. Her dark eyes skimmed over the two, landing on Skylar's palms as a sunset orange sparked from the skin. She met Skylar's gaze with a small smile, though was unsure if her, "I'd love one," was audible over Hank's burning questions.

Her attention was immediately drawn to the girl, and she seemed to have forgotten about the odd weather for a moment. Curiosity sparked within her, turning cold as the girl mentioned dreams. Come to think of it, Kenna supposed she had had some sort of vision. It wasn't anything clear, and Kenna dismissed it quickly due to the weirdness of quite a few of her dreams, but this one had oddly stuck inside her brain more clearly than most of the others.

"Yeah," she admitted slowly. "Nothing superior or extraordinary, though, I don't think. It was kind of blurry, I only remember being alone in a blizzard. I think I could hear screams or something, but I couldn't really see anything. Then I woke up." She figured Skylar wasn't keeping anything from them, especially if it was to be revealed tonight. "What did Chiron and Mr. D say about this? Do they think it's anything serious?"

age: sixteenxxgender: femalexxcamp years: onexxgoddess: aphroditexxlocation: aphrodite's cabinxxtags: ophelia, mirabelle

There was no doubt that the two girls knew one another, and Pippa wondered how long they had been at the camp for. Mirabelle had to have been there for a decent chunk of time if she had been elected head counselor, right? Ophelia most likely wasn't a first year, since 1) Mirabelle seemed to know who she was and Ophelia, Mirabelle, and 2) she seemed rather comfortable in the cabin, unlike Pippa, who seemed to be struggling to keep her gaze on one particular thing. She wondered if there were any more of them, or if it was only the three. Three was fine, three was plenty! She supposed that would be revealed soon enough.

She nearly leaped forward to shake Mirabelle's hand, which was as cold as Pippa's was. Come to think of it, maybe she had packed something a bit heavier. Stepping around the two, she made her way over to her self-proclaimed bed, suddenly fearful it didn't belong to her. That being said, neither had said a word on that subject, so maybe she was okay. She unzipped her bag, glancing up once more. "First year," she confirmed with a small nod of her head. "I'm Pippa. And actually, the claiming was the reason I found out about this place. It was pretty wicked." She let her eyes skim back over her belongings, collecting a shine within them as she spotted a coat. It wasn't anything super heavy, not like the coats she wore back at home in the middle of January, but it was something. She grabbed it, then straightened her posture and turned back towards the two. "It's super nice to meet you both. I'm a little lost with this whole weather situation, but Kade didn't seem to know too much about it either, so I'm hoping I'm not too alone on that?"

|Mirabelle Everhart|17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Cabin 10|Tags: Pippa, Ophelia|

Mirabelle shook Pippa's hand with a surprisingly firm grip, noting that it was just about as cold as hers was. "Nice to meet you!" she chirped, donning a warm smile. "Welcome to the Aphrodite cabin." It hadn't passed her notice that they were the only ones inside - the rest of her cabinmates were probably still at the dining pavilion or up demanding answers from Chiron and Mr. D at the Big House. When Pippa mentioned the weather, Mirabelle's smile faltered ever so slightly. "So you haven't heard yet." It was more of a statement than a question. She glanced between Pippa and Ophelia, worrying the inside of her cheek between her teeth. "The Senior Counsel just held an emergency meeting," she explained. "We can't be completely certain yet, but Chiron suspects Khione's involvement in this... er, winter in June situation." She tugged her coat tighter around herself in an attempt to warm up faster. Though her teeth had stopped chattering, she was still shivering quite a bit. She turned to look at both girls again, blue-grey eyes suddenly sharp with focus. "Say, you two haven't had any dreams involving cold weather before all of this started, by any chance?"

|Juliet Pratten|16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Armoury --> Cabin 11|Tags: Aiden --> Open |

"I won't!" Juliet called after Aiden, waving goodbye with her free hand. Phew. Now that he was gone, she could get back to her prank. The daughter of Hermes donned her coat again, walking as quickly as possible to the Hermes cabin so as to not arouse suspicion - no one would probably think much of her haste to get inside; it was pretty cold out!
Once inside Cabin 11, she shut the door against the frigid breeze. She stashed her pilfered goods under her cot for the time being, seating herself atop the squeaky mattress, debating what to do with the brand new idea Aiden had given her. I could start the prank now, but... It would be too good to waste on the Ares cabin at this point - she really wanted to wait until Capture the Flag. Not only would it be hilarious, but the other team would never see it coming. Waiting was a gamble, though - she didn't even know if Capture the Flag was happening in the first place.

|Chuck Oakes|He/Him|Satyr|Location: Big House|Tags: Jamie|

Chuck couldn't help but laugh a bit when Jamie snorted, but was quickly distracted as the other boy fired a question. "Like, longer than I've been alive," the satyr joked. Despite his lighthearted tone, he could've sworn he'd seen a coat that looked like it was straight out of the 50's in the pile he'd discarded. He bleated with laughter when Jamie held up a horribly bright sweater and asked his opinion. "Like, I don't even have to be friends with Mira to know that a sweater like that is like, totally whacked." He made a face, shaking the horrid mittens off of his head and turning back to the pile. His eyes lit up with interest when he spotted a down jacket that looked as if it had time-traveled from the 70's. He instantly slipped it over his Camp Half-Blood t-shirt, despite the clashing colours. The jacket itself was mostly green, with two stripes in progressively lighter shades. "Now that's more like it," he chuckled, more to himself than Jamie. He'd still need to find something warmer to wear under it, but at least it was a start.

|Vivienne Isole|18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Peak of Mount Marcy/Blizzard Dreamscape|Tags: Aydan|

The ability to control ice... Vivienne's gaze sharpened with interest. Perhaps that's why he feels oddly familiar... could he be another demigod of Khione? The thought seemed ludicrous. Certainly her mother would've told her if she'd had any godly half-siblings... right? Her mouth tightened into a thin line. I'll have to bring it up with her as soon as I awaken, she decided. "There is much one can do with ice," she stated instead. She neglected to show him what she meant - that would be a dead giveaway of her identity. Though she had manipulated the dream blizzard around them earlier... Still. She decided she was better safe than sorry in this situation. Speaking of awakening... she felt her grasp on the dream begin to slip.

Aiden had scarcely made it to the pavilion when he felt a knot in his stomach. Most everyone was either finished eating or almost there, and the fire pit had already begun to die down. He was very late, but at least the fire was warmth. Like a moth he was drawn to its flame, snagging a plate to get some food in his belly. "Hey!" The boy exclaimed, fumbling his plate momentarily. He planned to snap at the other camper, but realized immediately he didn't recognize the other teen. "It's fine, don't worry about it." Aiden corrected himself quickly, stopping there before bewilderment took over his mouth. The guy (at least, he assumed it was a guy by the shape of their face) looked straight out of a cartoon, with their vibrant hair and choice of clothing. Aiden swore the dude was made of plastic. "I haven't seen you around before." He began, recovering quickly. "What's your name?" Cres came upon the two right around the same time and coined a question of her own. Aiden offered her a short wave. "Late to lunch too, I see?" He and Cres had been at camp around the same amount of time, but she surpassed him in both years and height while left him with a bigger chip on his shoulder than usual, but as half-siblings, they got along well enough. About as well as any siblings. "I hope you brought something warm for Christmas in July."
