Trading Idea?

Well, what happenes often with me is I send a trade to someone and then they never respond, and I see they have logged in recently. So wouldn't it be nice if after, say, a week of a trade sitting, you could click a "remind them" button or something like that and it would notify the user in case they forgot about about the trade? Just an idea.

That always happens to me! They never answer my trades...

I would find this very irritating. Sometimes I do forget about trades and let them sit. Sometimes people PM me to remind me. But if I want another person's opinion if it is fair or something and can't get an answer, and they keep "reminding" me. I will probably cancel. It could be easily abused.

I thought of that, but what if you were only able to click it once a week, or something like that? That way you wouldn't get so many.

I think that's a pretty good idea; it would probably turn out that when you clicked the button, an auto-pm was sent with a link to the trade.

sounds like a good idea although there might need to be a trade setting to block reminders for those that don't want reminders

A once-a-week reminder button would actually be pretty awesome; I tend to forget about trades all the time and let a bunch of them rot unwittingly. x3;;

Definitely agree; sometimes a reminder is nice, but at other times it is incredibly annoying.

yup, thats what i mean when i say "after, say, a week of a trade sitting, you could click a "remind them" button" after a week, you can click it.

This woould be a good idea, but i can see that it could easily get irritating.

I think a good idea would be to have the ability to send a message to someone after the trade is over (ie after it has been either deleted or accepted). I know that you can send messages if you delete the trade or accept it, but I have always wanted to say to someoen who has deleted my trade "Sorry to have wasted your time" or something other than that, to show that there are no hard feelings.
