He nodded in agreement, “they both seem to be doing well.” He spoke softly still listening hearing some birds. “Maybe we should take our apprentices and split up so we have more ground to cover and can catch more prey.” They sniffed the air once more smelling a familiar scent. One he thought he wouldn’t smell again. “Oakmoon stay with the apprentices. After you catch some prey head back with them. I’ll be right behind you guys.”

He smiled happy to see her again. “It’s nice to see that you’ve come back. I was getting worried, you seem like you have gotten bigger sense the last time I’ve seen you.” He lightly teased the she-cat, “I’m sure the clan will be excited to see you again.” He motioned to the direction of camp.

She watched him as he inspected her and seemed to think. When he bag an to run to her she prepared herself to move. She wasn’t prepared for him to jump over her, she quickly turned around. Riverclaw agreed with Kestreldawn so when he considered the patrol’s next move, he simply nodded his head a few times. “Okay that seems good. If you can, catch something so we can bring it back.” He announced, glancing towards the she-cat and younger Tom, flicking his tail in a direction they could go. “I’ll go this way and when we are done we can return to this spot here to meet back up.” With another flick of his tail, he showed the direction along the border he would go to remark. The area seemed quiet, but not too quiet. If you listened hard enough, the prey was a led to be heard.

Jaguarpaw was taken by surprised at his mentor's quick thinking, but was ore fascinated with how quick on her feet she was. Truly amazing, nothing less expected from his mentor. Watching from a distance, his tail began to lash about. If he wanted to get his mentor he'd have to try something else. "As expected," Jaguarpaw murmured, rushing straight in for an attack. This time he charged at her full speed, making sure all his weight was being prepared for what came next. Closing in the distance by the second, this time the apprentice tried to dive into the ground to slide just enough to swipe his paw at her legs to try and sweep her.

She was taken aback when he decided to do a full on assault heading straight for her. Her apprentice was bigger then her and certainly had more weight then her. He would be wanting to knock her down, as he got closer she had to decide either to jump or to try and dodge. She didn't have time to jump over him or around him to get out of the way. She watched as he went to try and knock her feet out from under her causing her to instinctively react with a jump. She landed on him but from the movement and her not catching her balance in time making her fall off him and loose her balance.
