Personality: Kat is a quiet person who enjoys hard work and providing for others. She finds absolute thrill in the hunt, the chase, the stalk, and finally the kill. A well placed arrow always makes her heart flutter. She is very serious. All the time. About everything. She doesn't take jokes well, or understand them, or why people waste time on them. Say what you mean, say it quickly, and move on. She's not vicious, but understand what it takes to kill - and does it swiftly. She appreciates the difference in hunting an animal versus a monster - with an animal you must honor the sacrifice, the life, and appreciate how one life sustains another; a monster is a nuisance and is best dispatched without mercy (few and far between have they crossed paths with a benevolent creature - as they mostly deal with problems). Kat is a bit old school - she doesn't talk about her past, and has done well keeping up with changes; occasionally she'll reference something from long ago like it was yesterday - something the other Hunters don't mind but mortals tend to give her sideways glances.
History: She was born and raised in London, England. She was close to her father, an American transplant - but as he was a single parent working hard in a law firm, she rarely saw him and instead had a revolving door of Nannys. At the age of eight, she was shipped off to boarding school to learn the fineries of being a woman - but she didn't last long. Next was Catholic school where she was beaten by nuns - but that still didn't work either. She wasn't a bad child, but they didn't understand her attitude or ADHD mind. With the second World War - she was shipped out of London through Operation Pied Piper; her father thought she would do better in America but it caused great rift between father and daughter as she fought to stay with him.
In America she was sent to stay with her Aunts - who turned out to be monsters. Near disaster caused her to learn about her powers and ultimately of her parentage. When the young Artemis invited her to be a Hunter - she readily accepted, finally finding her true family and calling.

Relationships: Camp Half-Blood - it's been several years since she's been at camp; some older campers may recognize her, but she is barely likely to know a few.
