What is it that brought you to where you are now? Abusive owners? That's one of the most common reasons why these dogs are out here, homeless and nothing more than strays on the streets. But some may even tell you they were born this way, born from stray parents and stayed homeless and learned the brutal ways of being a stray dog. The vicious humans would always through and shout things at you, and you would sometimes find yourself being chased by the wretched humans and taken away. No stray dog knows where they go, except the ones taken. But no, that is not the problem we strays are having this time of year. Those stupid people decided to cut down the nearby forest and reveal a large amount of stray dogs, bigger, stronger and smarter. Some dogs on the streets say they're wolves but most of us don't believe that stupidity. But it doesn't matter what species they are, those dogs are migrating towards the city and hoping to find shelter and drive us out. That won't be necessary, and us strays will not take kindly to these new feral dogs. Our only hope against these ferocious monsters is to believe we can drive them back to the place the came from - even if it is cut down. They oppose threats to us strays and some find one of our own dead on the streets with the fur of the attacker between their claws - feral dog fur. Our lives are hanging by a thread, and the choice is simple for you. Will you try to help the strays to driving these unkindly visitors out of the city, or form an alliance with the feral dogs to destroy the strays of the city?

Bosses of the City
The three dogs that control the strays of the city. They don't have to like each other, the way to earn this position is to merely fight for it and earn your respect. If a Boss is challenged, they might lose they might win. It all depends. The boss rank is a fragile one and could disappear from your paws in seconds.

Alpha Male:
The male alpha of the pack that leads everyone with the help of the alpha female. If an alpha male is challenged by a lower rank, they might lose and lose their rank as well and be brought down to an omega or cast from the pack. The alpha male is usually mates with the alpha female.

Alpha Female
The female alpha of the pack aids the Alpha male in leading the pack. The alpha female is never challenged. She is usually mates with the alpha male.

Beta Male
The male second in command, aids the alphas in leading the pack. They control everything when the alphas are gone or not available. The Beta Male doesn't have to be mates with the Beta Female. The Beta Male could be mates with the alpha female.

Beta Female
The female second in command, aids the alphas in leading the pack. They control everything when the alphas are gone or not available. The Beta Female doesn't have to be mates with the Beta Male. The beta female could be mates with the alpha male.

Omegas
Normal members of the pack, including pups and elders. Lowest rank and is the rank that a higher rank is demoted to if they disobey the rules.

Personality:
A kind(er) stray that isn't so vicious towards humans. But she is ferocious towards those ferals. She thinks the city belongs to the strays, and the strays alone... Except for the humans. She wouldn't hesitate on attacking a feral on the spot. She would be a boss, but she would never challenge one of those dogs and her caring personality wouldn't earn her much respect.

Description:
A beautiful husky, with the usual long fur and bright blue eyes. She is a black husky, opposed to the 'red' husky, 'blue' husky, and so on. She also has an old wore out leather collar that she had when she lived with her owners. For her scars, Raven has actually very little. Except a bad scar on her shoulder and a nick in her left ear.

History:
Raven was owned by abusive owners, and when she was about 2 and a half years old she left the wretched people and became a stray of the city.

Personality:
A blunt, headstrong brute that earned his position not lightly. But strangely enough, Koru doesn't viciously hate the humans. He can even be found approaching one, panting and eyes lit up like a normal dog. But he still is wise, and keeps away from the humans he knows are trouble. Koru is a boss that earned his respect the right way, and hopes he won't lead these dogs to their death from the invasion of the Ferals.

Description:
The lean build of a Labrador and the coloration of an Australian Shepherd, he looks a bit 'different' from most. He even stood out of his litter. Koru was the only one in his litter to have the Australian Shepherd markings. He also has the usual dark brown eyes, like most other dogs.

History:
Koru was actually born as a stray, which is an easy reason why he isn't horrified of the humans and finds some fun to play with. He says it pays off occasionally, because they could leave something for you to snack on...

personality : Flinn is submissive but highly loyal. Although quiet, he is a quick learner and thinks sharply. Very caring for those he meets but will fight against those who do wrong to him or others. One day he will be a good advisor the the alpha. He is rather cautious however and tends to stay away from the congested heart of the city however his instincts warn him against venturing into the surrounding land.
description : Small since he is still mostly a puppy, but when full grown he will still be on the shorter side yet he will be lean and long legged like his Border Collie mother. Most of his body is a chocolate brown darkened by black hairs on the tip on his tail and his paws. Flinn sports the typical Border collie facial markings, with a white muzzle extending up to his forhead between his eyes. His paws display just the smallest of white. He is agile and quick witted like the border collie, and has the hunting skills of the lab, so he would rather hunt down rats, mice, pigeons, and even squirrels then dig for garbage.
history : Born from two dogs who were house-pets & neighbors, he was raised as a puppy in a warm comfortable home with a large yard. His brothers and sisters were loyal human-loving pups, while he was a bit different. Sometimes he wishes to be back in a safe home with a constant supply of food, but he likes to be free and unleashed. Sticking to the edge of wilderness but close to the city, Flinn's loyalty lies to strays however he has yet to meet one himself. Stories of big dark canines in the forests keep him from venturing to far into the feral dog territory for food.

personality : Riya is a headstrong yet smart stray. She knows the best of the best places to scavenge for food, and can easily catch pigeons. She has a strong dislike of humans, but won't viciously attack them for nothing. Strong at heart, she is an excellent fighter if need be. She isn't the most caring with strangers, but when it comes to family Riya shows a softer side. It wakes alot to gain her trust, but deep down she will give in to help a dog in need.
description : Riya has a lean and tall physique like the border collie, while having a solid dark brown/black colored coat with a pre-mature greying muzzle.
history : Dumped on the streets as a young dog from breeders who thought she wasn't a good enough cattle dog. She's been hostile toward almost everyone ever since, especially humans who would kick her around when she would try to get food. she will sometimes go and steal food from vendors on the streets and has become a pro at this.
crush/mate : none. she probably couldn't take a mate, unless he was just as strong and hard headed as herself, and could put up with her witty comments.

Dusk fell upon the city, bringing to life the glittering lights of buildings and neon signs of night clubs. Humans strolled the sidewalks, dressed elegantly for dinners. This was the best time for scrap hunting, since the restraunts were working busily to produce enough food for the ravenous humans. Litter scattered the sidewalks and the local strays began creeping out of their hiding places. Riya paid no mind to these; she hardly cared for strangers. Her thick black fur obscured her lean body and growling stomach. It was a nuisance, having to eat all the time. Sure house-pets had the good life.. constant supply of food, warm bed, loving humans, but it wasn't free. Riya quite liked living as she was, having to earn her keep in the city. Going where she pleased, doing whatever, running free, it was all worth it.

The familiar sounds of dumpster-diving strays echoed from the allies, yet Riya stuck to the sidewalk. Nearing one of her favorite stops delicious and mouth-watering scents wafted out into the surround area. Human voices could be heard chatting away loudly inside, and the yellow lights illuminated the ground. She stopped, her paws sticking to the cement and snuck down the dark smelly ally. Black trash bags and an assortment of litter and rates filled the narrow passage way. A little bit down, the light from outside shone down through an open door. Next to that door, as always, was a huge heap of food scraps. Riya laughed to herself; humans were so stupid. Her nose guided her to the pile and before digging in for her feast, Riya shook her body as if she were wet.

A grey-ed muzzle dove into the food. With her head bobbing up and down as she gupled down some fat trimmings, her ears were ever alert for oncoming humans, or even strays willing to fight for the good pickings..

♦ Koru ♦



The large brute trotted along the sidewalk, the unwanted fat of steak in locked in his jaws. Being friendly to humans wasn't all that bad. In fact, it payed off... Most of the time. The broke into a bound as he neared where his favorite alley-way was, a very well concealed place where the bosses met up in desperate times. The gap between the two building unfolded and the Koru veered into it happily. He slowed to a walk and stopped in the middle of the way and dropped the scraps at his paws. Then, Koru began to dig in. It seemed all the chaos of the Ferals vanished as he took bites out of the juicy fat.

Now covered in all sorts of food stench, Riya was pleased with herself. Although she was no longer hungry she continued to gorge. who knows when she'll be able to get a decent meal like this one. Plans to go to the outskirts of the city were growing near. A journey through the city wasn't always going to keep your stomach happy. She learned this from her experience of traveling into the city; escaping the farm. As she enveloped her mouth around a tasty looking thigh bone, an irresistible, delicious, and scrumptious aroma filled her nose. Riya paused and raised her head, looking into the darkness of the alley.

An amazing hunk of meat just laying there, on the ground, calling her name. Clenching her teeth down on the bone, she leaped gracefully down from her dinner bin. Blending in with the ebony of the night the female had also caught wind of the male dog. Her pawsteps were almost as silent as a cat's as she made her way from the back of the alley toward the stranger. She could hear him chowing down now, and pulled her lips up in a semi smile. She wasn't usually interested in other canines but then again this was her first encounter with one since she escaped the horrid breeder.

A few feet before him Riya stopped, her dark eyes observing him intently. His coloring was unusual, she noted. Her fluffy tail swung side to side before she sat down on the dirty ground. "Why hello there stranger."
