Karter Zael | Hades | Tagging: Valkeri | Location: Camp, Dining Hall

Karter nodded. "Yeah, sounds good to me," he agreed. He tried for a more or less friendly smile, but was quite sure it only came off awkward or lopsided.

Agatha "Aggy" Clemson|Female|Unknown (Ares)|Location:--->Lake|tags: Auggie
She eyed Auggie's weapons, noting the dark sword that contrasted with the glittering knives. I wonder what that's made of, Aggy thought, barely able to hold back a hand from reaching for it. She was still preoccupied by it when the Auggie took off.
The redhead rushed after her, wanting to call out about the unfairness of it, but saving her breathe for running.

She was quick, but her strides were choppy and graceless, especially over the snowy grass. At least the movement would heat her.
But where was the girl? She had looked up from the rough terrain and couldn't see her anywhere. Mad fast, or parlor trick? She wondered, focusing once more on the slippery snow.

Ophelia Rogers|Female|Aphrodite|Location: By Forge---> Aphrodite cabin |tags: Poppy
Ophelia ignored the smaller girl's comment about Hank, knowing she'd move on soon enough.
Ophelia didn't comment on the college thought either. She knew that she should have plans beyond Camp Half-Blood for herself, but the place had really taken over her life.
Ophelia had never had anywhere else, with the constant moving and crummy apartments she'd wasted her childhood on. Or really, had it wasted for her. When she'd gone to Camp and refused to respond to her father's correspondence, she'd thought that he would keep sending them, or drive through the night to show up and demand to see for himself that she was okay, or something.

But life's not written like a movie, she thought, slowing to laugh over her shoulder at her friend's words, but quickly descending into a hacking cough. Although she had the legs for running, Ophelia sorely lacked the lungs for it, and the cold air didn't help. She slowed to catch her breath, and her friend, as they passed the smithy. She furrowed her brow when she noticed how cold it was, but kept her mouth shut. She tugged her hair out of it's ponytail, which hadn't held up well for her sprint, and huddled close to her friend, an unwanted shiver overtaking her body.
"Let's just... " Her teeth were practically chittering, this was bad, oh gosh, this was bad. "G-get to the Aphrodite cabin, quick!" She finished, tugging on Poppy's arm as if to remind herself that she had to move, she had to help Poppy, or we'll both freeze. She pushed the unwanted thought away, trying to paste on a brave face from the depths within her. For Poppy. She barely managed better than a grimace.

Henry "Hank" Walker|Male|Apollo|Location: Strawberry Fields----> Dining Pavilion |tags: Kenna
Hank really wanted to point out that this was weather magic, but he bit back his tongue, figuring that he should avoid the tender topic for now. "Cool!" He breathed, clearly impressed by the umbrella.

He tucked in close to share their heat, careful to watch her face to see if it bothered her. He focused on picking their way back to the Dining Pavilion. Camp was practically a winter wonderland, with snow lodging on the still very green and leafy trees, and tall grasses reaching out of a bed of white. It was, really disturbing actually. Living in Wyoming, Hank was no stranger to winter and snow, but the combination of summer and winter almost made him shiver more than the cold did.

He was quite glad when they finally exited the fields, though the haunting image of ripe strawberries drowning in snow would take a while to leave his mind. "So, do you have a favorite snow activity?" He asked with a side glance to the girl, hoping to lighten the dour mood.

Kade Turner | Athena | Tagging: Pippa | Location: Camp

With Pippa moving inside to check out her new cabin, Kade lingered where he was a moment. He didn’t know if any of the other Aphrodite kids were in there to help her out, but until he had confirmation one way or another, it didn’t feel right to just leave her there. Then she had reappeared to ask a question.

"It really depends on the head counsellors. Sometimes we have a firmer set schedule, but most of the time, it’s just doing more or less whatever unless Chiron or Mr. D say anything."

Aiden 002

Postby Kveykva » Sat Dec 12, 2020 8:56 am

    ──── Aiden Seaver
    】| Athena Head Counselor | 15 | Male | Dining Pavilion ➡ Armory | Tags: Juliet Pratten
𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚎, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚐𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚞𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚕 𝚒𝚝 𝚑𝚞𝚛𝚝𝚜
The longer Aiden walked through the snow, the more he realized he ought to bite the bullet and grab his winter gear from the Athena cabin. He was already late to lunch, so what was stopping him now? Besides, you know, the fact that he was already at the dining pavilion. With a sigh, he doubled back into the wintry wonderland, heading in the direction of the cabins. A rumbling stomach always made him irritable, and regretfully, he'd had an early breakfast. He assumed Kade would already be at lunch with the rest of the campers, so unless any other stragglers were ransacking their luggage for warmer clothes, his chances of running into anyone else were slim. Aiden pushed open the door to Cabin 6, warm air washing over him. It was a welcomed change from the cold outside, but he wouldn't linger long. The head counselor trudged to his bunk, sifting through his belongings before pulling out a hooded parka, a pair of boots, and some sweatpants. Shorts weren't conducive to comfort in this weather. Once Aiden finished donning some warmer clothing, he headed for the door, only to pause when he noted something glittering by the door. A short spear? It clicked soon after; he'd borrowed the weapon from the armory a few days prior and forgotten to return it. He ought to do so before he forgot again. Aiden rested it against his shoulder and pushed his way back outside, planning to make his stop at the armory quick. The way things were headed, that wouldn't be the case. As he went to return the spear to the rest of its brethren, he heard the pitter-patter of feet further into the building. He knew those footsteps. "Juliet!" The boy called the other out, his tone rife with exasperation. "What are you doing in here?"

|Mirabelle Everhart|17|She/Her|Aphrodite|Head Counselor|Location: Big House Porch |Tags: Ben|

Mirabelle blinked as Ben's words echoed in her mind. There's always a fire burning, even when you can't see it. She felt her scattered thoughts begin to settle with those deep words. In both senses of the phrase - metaphorical and physical - it provided a warm sense of comfort. A small yet genuine smile tugged at her lips, though responsibility still weighed heavily on her shoulders. "I should probably get back to my cabin and grab my coat," she ventured. "I need to make sure they're well-stocked with winter attire, and ask around to see if anyone has had any dreams pertaining to the cold weather - especially any that give a recognisable location. We still have no idea where we need to go." Though her gaze had become distant with thought as she spoke, her blue-grey eyes suddenly filled with sharp focus. "Ben," she stated, turning to look the son of Hephaestus straight in the face. "Thank you." Sincerity filled her voice. She wasn't just saying this to be polite, as usual - the willowy blonde really meant it this time. Though she was at loathe to leave Ben's warming presence, she knew she would have to brave the cold sooner or later. Taking a decided breath, she cast him one last smile as she prepared to leave.

|Juliet Pratten|16|She/Her|Hermes|Location: Armoury|Tags: Aiden |

Juliet froze upon hearing her name called. Aw crap. She would've recognised that voice anywhere - the voice of the Athena cabin's head counselor. She knew most of the counselors on sight (or in this case, hearing?) for the purpose of avoiding them whenever she was planning something mischievous. The daughter of Hermes turned towards him with her best poker face, batting her eyelashes innocently. "I was just grabbing some stuff for Capture the Flag later," she lied easily. "For the new campers." She held up the sword she'd grabbed not long ago, as well as a rather battered suit of armour for emphasis. "There are plenty of new unclaimed demigods who don't have any stuff yet, so I figured, might as well help them out for once?" She knew this was a bit of a stretch; Juliet hardly went out of her way to do anything for anyone - well, anything nice, that was. Pulling pranks and creating havoc was a different story. She hoped against hope that Aiden would believe her, though a sinking sensation in her chest told her that it was probably in vain.

|Chuck Oakes|He/Him|Satyr|Location: Leaving Dining Pavilion|Tags: Jamie|

"Far out," Chuck agreed, smiling as he nodded. "Let's like, book over there before all the good stuff's gone." The satyr started making his way out of the dining pavilion, being careful this time as so not to slip on the newly fallen snow. A chill breeze blew by, causing him to shiver slightly. Chuck rubbed his arms to warm them up, thankful once again for the fur coating his lower half. "Man, I hope someone up at the Big House knows what's goin' on," he murmured. "This is, like, totally whack."

|Vivienne Isole|18|She/Her|Khione|Location: Peak of Mount Marcy/Blizzard Dreamscape|Tags: Aydan|

Vivienne bit back a huffy retort, instead trying her best to be patient. "You can call me Juniper," she intoned. It wasn't exactly a lie - Juniper was her middle name, after all. If demigods were having dreams about her plan... she wanted to learn all she could about what they knew, without giving away her identity. Though seeing as this 'Ayden' was unclaimed, she figured he was probably newer to Camp Half-Blood. Still, she didn't want to take the risk of being recognised. It had been five years since any demigod from camp had seen her - she had developed and changed, but her features paired with her abilities could have easily resulted in recognition. No one alive aside from Chiron and Khione knew her middle name, or so she thought. However, she was under no false impressions; she knew it would happen eventually - she would just like to hold off as long as possible. Identity meant weakness to Vivienne, and if there was anything she absolutely despised more than anything, it was being seen as weak. Well, almost more than anything. Camp Half-Blood still had priority atop that list. "Concerning the dreams - demigods often have prophetic dreams of some kind," Vivienne offered. "Some individuals seem to have them more often than others." What she was curious about, though, was why they were in the same dream - if that was the case. It had to be, right? She'd never seen Ayden before in her life. Yet there was something oddly familiar about him, that she couldn't place her finger on...

Augusta Reynolds|17|she/her|Hades|the woods-the lake|tags:Aggy
As Auggie took off running, she reached out with her mind and tried to collect the darkness of the woods around her, focusing it to one point. She gathered it around her and seemed to melt into the shadows, practically disappearing into the woods ahead of Aggy. She glanced back and saw a confused look on the girls face, grinning with satisfaction at her trick. Aggy was fast, but she was far from graceful, slowing down a bit from her head start, Auggie darted closer to the other girl, kicking a fallen branch up to trip her before darting away again.
She made it to the edge of the lake, only slightly out of breath and shed her camouflage. She sat on a rock and waited, trying to look as calm and unbothered as she possibly could, acting as if she had been waiting for Aggy for a long time.

Jamie Wallace|16|he/him|Iris|Dining pavillion|tags:Chuck
Jamie nodded in agreement and followed Chuck out of the dining pavilion, tensing his muscles against the cold. He stepped carefully after watching Chuck nearly wipe out on the slippery ground, Jamie may not have hooves to worry about, but he was clumsy enough on dry ground, let alone one covered in snow. “I’m sure they’ll take care of it,” He agreed. “It’s just a little snow, right? He said, fully aware that snow at camp half-blood in the middle of summer was not just a little thing. He preferred to look on the positive side of things, and if he had to pretend this was totally normal and okay, so be it.

Aydan Hunt Location: Hermes cabin Tags: Vivienne (Hunter when the next day starts)
"Thanks for telling me your name."Aydan said with a small smile. He was still confused as to what this dream was supposed to mean for him. Why was this girl here? Was she a part of his prophecy?"Well why are you in this dream then? Are you supposed to tell me something? Lead me to a certain destiny?" he asked her as a ran a hand through his chestnut hair. He got the vibe something was bothering her too"Or... are you just as confused as I am and are another demigod and we share the same prophecy and thats why we are sharing a dream?!" Aydan's thoughts were going a mile a minute which would have made him dizzy if he wasn't in a dream. He must've sounded crazy to Juniper, especially since he can talk fast when saying his thoughts.

Agatha "Aggy" Clemson|Female|Unknown (Ares)|Location: Lake|tags: Auggie
Aggy was breathing hard by the time she reached the lake. She wasn't lacking in stamina, but the snowy trek had taken a toll on her. Her feet had fumbled over a branch, which she'd only seen by focusing on the ground, and she could feel a muscle souring because she'd pulled it wrong.

She finally saw the other girl, perched on a rock, when she nearly crashed into her. So this is it then. The lake dive was likely a hazing event to make new campers look stupid for being afraid of it. Aggy didn't want to look weak, and this was as warm as she was going to be.

Aggy didn't even give the girl time to gloat. Zhe went for it, jumping into the water, which was coated with an icy sludge, without a second thought.
Boy, this is cold. Aggy thought as she plunged in, numbness quickly setting in. For the second time today, Aggy was learning another way that adrenaline didn't work. Only this time, she was finding out how shock did. She bobbed out of the water, gasping for air from the cold. I can't breathe! She thought, wild-eyed as panic hit. For once in her life, Aggy was scared.

Augusta Reynolds|17|she/her|Hades|the lake|tags:Aggy
Auggie smirked as she tried to keep her heavy breathing under control, wanting to look as nonchalant as possible when Aggy came pounding out of the woods. The branch hadn’t slowed her down too much, but with the head start she’d given herself August had still managed to gain quite a bit of an advantage. She stood up with a smug look on her face, preparing to haze the girl a bit more before telling her she was just messing around. Of course, she wasn’t actually going to let Aggy jump in the lake. She may have, under normal circumstances, but it was freezing outside and she didn’t want to be the cause of someone catching hypothermia.

She opened her mouth to say something but before she even had a chance to react, Aggy had gone past her and jumped right into the icy water. August stood, frozen in place for a moment with her mouth open. Oh my god she actually did it...that wasn’t supposed to happen. Auggie felt a surge of panic as the girl resurfaced, clearly struggling to breath. Of course she is, the water’s freezing. She’s probably going into shock. Auggie cursed and lunged forward, grabbing hold of Aggy’s shirt and hauling her out of the water. “Are you crazy?” She shouted as she dragged the girl back onto the beach. “You weren’t actually supposed to jump in the lake! It’s snowing! Why would you do that?”
