Prompt: bundled in snow jackets, scarves, and gloves a group of four young lambicorns walk up to the wintertide festival. eyes are wide and mouths agape on three of the young lambs as they look around the festive little town, the fourth looking rather unimpressed. however. it was the first time this group had gone to any sort of festival and they were all quite excited, even the unimpressed lamb. what should we do first? the only female of the group asked in wonder, her name being selene. it wasn't a moment later that she ran forward toward a cute lil cabin where lambs inside danced to holiday music. this looks fun! in her wake selene had sprayed up loose snow, covering oakley's face in the stuff. he huffed out, shaking the snow from his head.
watch what you're doing, he grumbled, annoyed. selene simply ignored him, and so did the other two part of the group. grover and quicksilver followed selene over to the cabin, the three entering the building.
h-hey! wait for me! oakley cried out as his group left him behind. his hooves hit the ground and he ran to the cabin, also making his way inside. the warmth of the building was so inviting compared to the cold bitterness of the air outside. inside the cabin a few lambs were dancing, others were chilling and playing games, while some drank hot cocoa and chatted. suddenly a welcoming voice filled the air, calling the group over. the older lamb introduces himself then asks about the lambs in the group.
o-oh, well, i'm quicksilver. i like changing the clouds into different shapes for the younger lambabies to look at, a-and playing dnd with my friends. i play a monk. oh! and i love grays and blues, pastels really, quicksilver explained first to rutherford po. up next selene stepped forward confidently.
my name is selene and i like playing dnd, i'm the dungeon master of our campaign, and i like astrology and tracking the movement of the stars and planets! my favorite color is hard to say, i like 'em all! she stated with a smile, her eyes lighting up as she spoke about some of her passions. third was her younger twin brother, grover.
i'm grover. i like to eat trash, it tastes good, plus it helps keep the environment clean. i also play dnd with my sister and friends, my character is a dragonborn. my favorite color is orange, like me! the lil goat explained. finally, standing behind the other three with a hard gaze, was oakley.
my turn i guess. okay, sure. i play dnd with this lot, my guy is a brute warrior. i don't like anything, and my favorite color totally isn't pink or whatever, oakley said, sizing up rutherford po.

Prompt: well, it looks like the little lambs were here to talk with rutherford now. smiling kindly to the lamb selene sat down at the table, nodding for the others to do so as well. quicksilver lay down by her right, grover to her left, and sitting behind the three was oakley, eyes gazing away from rutherford and the others. they all listened with interest as rutherford spoke about his hometown up in the clouds. quicksilver grew excited about this. i was born up in the clouds too! speaking so suddenly was not a trait of his, so doing so surprised him and his friends a little.
will you calm down, jeez oakley uttered.
s-sorry, quicksilver blushed in embarrassment and glanced down. but, yes, i live in the clouds above a mountain range. that's where oakley and i met, actually! off to his left selena swished her tail behind her, batting oakley to go on and explain where is his from.
gah! will you stop that! i was born in a valley beneath the mountains. there's not much too it really. just a little bum town, he explained to rutherford po.
then there's me and my brother, grover! we live by the ocean where everyday smells of sea salt and fish! it's the most wonderful thing, really! blue sky and blue sea as far as the eye can sea! sand in you fur and little shops to visit, as well as the board walk! everything is bright and colorful! i love it,the girl said wistfully, eyes going far away as she imagined being home again, where it was warm all year round.

Prompt: talking about the holidays and traditions gained mix signals from the group of four. selene had a cheeky grin on her face while grover stared at her with a knowing look. quicksilver had a small smile on his face as they thought about their family, and in the back oakley looked slightly sad. well, my family does most of the usual stuff. we hang up lights around our house, my mom really likes the bright white and blue lights, but my dad the colorful ones! so every year my mom and dad always have a small competition to choose which lights go up outside of the house. they each pull a sleigh full presents and lambies, and even random stuff! whoever has the quickest time wins and they get their lights up on the house! quicksilver softly explained, a small but happy smile on their face as they think back to their parents. over by grover he elbows his sister in the ribs for her to speak.
oh nothing! i definitely don't dress up like lambie krampus and scare the lambabies! no way no how! she couldn't help but crack up and burst out laughing, grover and quicksilver laughing with her.
and then i have to go and stop her! grover says when he's able to catch his breath. finally it was oakley's turn, but he sat quietly in the back with his head down.
we .. i don't have any traditions, okay?! there was more to it than that. his family has always been on the poorer side, unable to celebrate much during the holidays. they weren't able to decorate very much and there was very little money to buy gifts. for him and his family the holiday season was mostly about spending time with family, playing charades and card games, sitting by the fire and telling family stories, and looking through photo albums.

Prompt: shuddering as the door whipped open, allowing some cold and snow flurries into the cabin, quicksilver hunkered down. selene had to shove her brother off of her as he tried to huddle close to her for warmth, and oakley braced himself against the cold. speaking with the host of the cabin was actually very nice and enjoyable for all, even the angsty oakley. as the talk of traditions moved onto hobbies, as if on cue quicksilver, grover, and selene all burst out playing dnd! the game was really something that they all enjoyed playing. it was first discovered by grover when he was eating out of a trashcan and the game lay near the top. he brought the game home to his sister. together they read all that they could about the game from how it functioned with the dice, to the classes and species available, and more! having just a dm and a player wasn't enough, though! so together the twins set out to find someone else to play with them! it was a bit hard since at the time there weren't any other lambabies in the beach town that they knew of. however, they came across little oakley playing in the sand with a stick all by himself. even as a grumpy lambaby he agreed to play. as they got older oakley met quicksilver and invited them to the campaign as well! now they have a good group to play with!
