▸ since Aiden doesn't specialize in any particular weapon, he usually carries around whatever he had on hand at the time. as a result, his signature "weapon" is thought to be his Hoplon, which Aiden wears disguised as a plain duffle bag when not in use.

Powers:
▸ hand-to-hand - less martial arts and more brawler style, Aiden learned to throw his first punches in a dog-eat-dog world and knows his way around a street fight. this includes fighting less than honorably.
▸ weapons generalist - you'd consider this one a "Jack of All Trades" when it comes to using instruments of war. Aiden doesn't have any particular preference when it comes to the weapon he uses in a fight; whatever's closest will do fine, whether it be throwing knives, a battleax, or even a comically large stick. it makes it easier to teach others the basics, but the downside is he has no specialty to give him an advantage when using a specific weapon.
▸ the patience to teach - most demigods have never seen a battle-ready sword in their life, much less attempted to wield one. while he himself learned to fight on the go, he felt it proper that Athena's bloodline teach the introductory courses to even the most hopeless of demigods
▸ strategy and problem-solving - Aiden's mind is very tactically oriented, more so than many of his siblings. he enjoys things like chess and sudoku to stretch his mental muscles, while sparring gives him the chance to stretch his physical ones. as such, he can be seen as a safe haven for campers who have issues between this or that, and he's always willing to lend an ear and give advice to those in need.

Physical Description
Aiden stands on the shorter side, coming to only 5'1 (1.5 m) when standing straight. His build is lean rather than stocky, though he still harbors a few rounder features and some persistent baby fat. He has a full face, with the exception of a sharp chin and nose, the only real indicators of his age. His skin is fairly pale, but it's littered with freckles, especially on his face. Aiden has brown eyes and a mess of thin black hair, usually styled haphazardly into a side-part.
While he seems to have no notable scars, this is from a combination of age and experience. Many of Aiden's worse scars were gained when he was young and first learning to train at Camp Half-Blood, and being a child of Athena, he caught on very quickly. Over time his scars have faded, and as he's gotten older, he's gotten less and less.
"Style" isn't something Aiden knows or really cares to know. He usually just wears whatever is available, and given the time he's spent at the camp, it's usually just the traditional CHB garb with plain sneakers.
The most unmistakable feature about Aiden is the fact that he still looks like a ten-year-old, despite being five years senior. While mention of this is usually the quickest way to set off his normally even temper, he often uses it to his advantage since his opponents tend to underestimate him.

Personality & Background
Like a number of other demigods, Aiden had a rather rough upbringing. His dyslexia and ADD made him a problem for most foster families, and as a result, he was lost in the shuffle. He never had the opportunity to meet either of his parents, so discovering one of them was a goddess wasn't as much of a shock as it probably should have been. He is open about his past to anyone who asks because, in his opinion, there isn't much to say. They didn't understand him or they couldn't do anything to help, and he doesn't hold a grudge against anyone. He doesn't despise the time he spent in the system, but at the same time he doesn't regret running away from it; after all, that's how he stumbled upon his home, Camp Half-Blood.

Despite the hard life Aiden has had prior to camp life, he is very patient and slow to anger. Casually, he doesn't come across as the caring brother figure a lot of campers know him as, but it definitely shows when things get serious. He makes it a point to hear others out and assure them their problems are entirely valid and is more than happy to offer whatever words of wisdom he can find. Along with this, Aiden is very loyal to his campmates, and to the camp itself. His loyalty is to a fault, and he is dutiful at heart. Because of this, Aiden may take general actions and attitudes personally, though he'd never say it. The only hint to this is his pride as an Athenian child and his competitive nature with the Ares cabin, and the semi-recently added Nike cabin. Aiden is more combat-oriented in his thoughts and actions, and much of it is self-taught. He believes there's no place for him in the world besides Camp Half-Blood, and instead of giving it a second chance, he stunts his own growth as a person in an attempt to make himself an irreplaceable asset to the camp, so he never has a reason to leave.

▸Ophelia [✔]

Although generally, Aiden dislikes children of the love goddess
as a rule of thumb, he has some respect for Ophelia for the
way she rebels against her heritage. At the same time, he's
sympathetic towards this and makes sure she knows he'll
always lend an ear if she needs one.

▸Aggy [◆]

Agatha is really too new of a camper for Aiden to have a
solid "yay/nay" on how he feels about her. She knows her
way around a blade so she's not a headache for training,
but she's also as gullible as they come, which gives Aiden
gets a laugh out of every time. He wants to say he likes
Aggy, but he'll know for sure once she's claimed.

▸Alex [✘]

Alex was the essence of what Aiden did not like about
the Aphrodite cabins. He's very airheaded and dense, so
Aiden was often frustrated when trying to work with him.
This only got worse when Alex nitpicked and tried to freshen
the Athena camper up to match his aesthetic. Or, in Alex's
words, "be his best self." Still, Aiden never wished to see
one of his fellow campers die, and he feels guilty for never
having a better bond with Alex before he was gone.

▸Jamie [✔]

Jamie was the source of a great many headaches his first few
months at camp, though things became a lot more clear as to
why after he was claimed as a child of Iris. Aiden's always
been insistent that Jamie needs to be able to defend himself,
but he's never thought less of him for his pacifism. He thinks
a lot higher of Jamie now than before after the venti attack
and hopes he'll make better use of his weapon now that he
understands it.

▸Wilhelm [★]

Will is like the big brother Aiden never had. True, Caleb is
actually his big brother, but Aiden connected with Will in a
different way. He's gentle and caring, and he's always been
Aiden's safe space and shoulder to cry on. Will insists that
he shoulders too much responsibility, but he never pushes
and Aiden appreciates that from him. Saying goodbye to
him for the summer, only for him to be gone for three
years, was the first and hardest goodbye Aiden ever had
to make.

▸Lucy [✘]

If Aiden had only one word to describe the daughter of Apollo,
it would be "menace." He was sympathetic in a similar vein
as Jamie when she first came to camp, given how poorly
she did in combat, and he even taught her how to weave
flower crowns when she expressed an interest in plants
and gardening. As Lucy's true colors slowly came to light,
he started regretting every one of his decisions with her.
Her manipulative nature aside, he hates the way she and
the Aphrodite cabin dote over him, calling him "cute" and
showering him in gross kisses. Thankfully, Mirabelle's role
as the head counselor has lessened the burden a bit.

▸Juliet [✩]

As a head counselor, he should hate her. As a kid, they get
along. Aiden isn't much of a prankster himself, but more
often than not he'll look the other way when one of Juliet's
pranks are against the Ares cabin because he gets just as
much of a kick out of the reactions as she does. One thing
he doesn't care for is her pranks against Chuck, just because
Chuck doesn't do much besides lending a helping hand
and he doesn't deserve the torment.

▸Laurel [✔]

As one of the few campers who's been at camp longer than
Aiden has, he has quite a bit of respect for her. She's a
bit too headstrong for Aiden to handle at times, but he
knows she's always an ally he can count on, especially
in the worst of situations.

▸Reese [✩]

Aiden and Reese get along almost like siblings, with plenty of
sarcasm and rude comments thrown back and forth. Reese has
tried to get Aiden to spill, as he has with many other campers,
but the Athena camper is a tough nut to crack. Aiden doesn't
take well to these attempts, especially after they became
more common when Reese started staying year-round, but
he still considers the Hades camper a friend.

▸Teilo [✩]

Amazingly, in the day and a half Aiden has known him,
Teilo has jumped each and every hurdle and landed
himself in the "friend" bracket on Aiden's "people I know"
list. He might've felt indebted to him for saving his life
at the lake, but now that he's successfully done the same
for Teilo, they're pretty much even. Aiden sees a little
bit of himself in the Thanatos demigod, albeit from a
strange and new perspective.

▸Dahlia [✩]

Like with Delilah, Aiden has lots of respect for Dahlia. As a
daughter of Nemesis, her combat prowess is nothing to
shake a stick at; he relishes working with her during his
training classes and she's his go-to partner for sparring.
While Aiden himself isn't open about his problems, he
makes sure Dahlia knows he's there for her.

▸Aydan [✘]

Aiden had a feeling he wouldn't like this new camper, but
he was willing to give Aydan a chance. He's stuck up,
overconfident, and Aiden personally feels he's got
nothing to show for it. Aydan also doesn't fall for
hardly any of Aiden's new camper tricks, but thankfully
the son of Athena has had many chances to knock
him on his but in front of a training class. Bittersweet.

▸Ash [✔]

Like Delilah, Ash has a pretty laid back attitude, even
when the situation demands something more intense.
It does frustrate him to some extent, but his calmness,
in turn, keeps others calm, which gives Aiden less to
worry about in dire situations. Still, he wishes Ash
had a bit more pep in his step when things go south.

▸Jack [✔]

Aiden doesn't know Jack too too well, but he does look
forward to seeing him in the summer. Jack's been
around almost as long as he has, and he's heard every
so often that Jack remembers when he was "this high"
which normally Aiden would take offense to, but he
knows Jack is referring to age and not height.

▸Emmie [✩]

Emmie is always a fun addition to any of Aiden's combat
classes. She's bubbly and upbeat, and she has a near
unhealthy amount of extra energy even for a demigod.
She always finds something new to talk about, though
when it comes to anything from outside camp, Aiden
has a tendency to just smile and nod along, because
honestly, none of it makes sense.

▸Aurelia [◆]

Relia might mean well, but Aiden can't stand it. She showers
him with those motherly vibes (not as much as some other
Aphrodite campers) and it makes him squirm. Besides that,
she's nice enough, he just wishes she'd lay off a bit and let
him fight for himself.

▸Kathryn [✘]

Similar to Lucy, Aiden harbors a fair amount of distrust for
anything Kathryn says. he's pretty good at picking out when
she's lying and when she's being honest, but he also knows
that a fair amount of what she says has Lucy as her source
material.

Cabinmates
▸Athena [✔]

While he's never met his mother, He does hold her in
high respect. Pretty much everything that makes
Aiden himself comes from her, and he's pretty
consistent with his offerings and prayers. though, he
could do without the crippling fear of spiders.

▸Caleb [★]

Caleb was a pleasant surprise, to put plainly. He was a
newcomer just like Aiden, and they just clicked with one
another while they were in the Hermes cabin. It made sense,
especially when they both ended up claimed by their mother
not even minutes apart. Aiden sympathizes with him as both
a brother and a friend, and he stuck with Caleb after he lost
his little sister. Aiden tried his best to help him adjust to the
year-round residency of Camp Half-Blood, but he feels like
Caleb still thinks he has to make up for what happened then.

Other Parties
▸Vivienne [◆]

Although Aiden didn't know Vivienne well during her time
at Camp Half-Blood, he sympathizes with her immensely.
Audra's death was the first one he'd ever seen up close,
and it tore him up to see what it did to Vivienne. He
hopes that their quest doesn't mean Vivienne's end.

▸Laika [✔]

Aiden respects Laika for her experience and position, but he
often disagrees with her methods. His pride oftentimes comes
into play when they have to work together, so they tend to
butt heads rather than cooperating seamlessly.

▸Chuck [✔]

Chuck's been around Camp Half-Blood about as long as Mira
has, and while originally Aiden didn't give the satyr much
thought, things changed as he and Mirabelle became better
friends. Chuck, airheaded as he may be, is a very genuine
guy and Aiden appreciates his opinion when he's around.

▸Chiron [✔]

Chiron is probably the best teacher Aiden's ever had.
Granted, some of his teachers did try to kill him.
Aiden's always looked up to Chiron for leadership
and advice, but as he grew into the position of a
leader himself, he realized just how much Chiron
and Camp Half-Blood has done to help him grow.

▸Dionysus [◆]

Aiden sees the wine god as a grumpy old man usually, but
he's still sympathetic towards Dionysus in some ways.
Although he's the god of theatre, he isn't the best at
expressing emotions to demigods, and he comes across
as super harsh on the best of days.

▸Dante [✩]

It's hard to pick a favorite out of the Apollo cabin, but
Dante definitely sets himself apart from the rest. He's
more sharp-witted than the rest of his siblings and
Aiden finds it easy to banter with him, especially
when the two of them are working in the med tent
during camp events.

▸Felix [✔]

If Felix hadn't left camp in pursuit of bigger things,
Aiden would probably consider him a good friend.
Felix taught Aiden field first aid and showed him
that you didn't need to be a child of the medicine
god to patch people up. It helped further Aiden's
self-sufficiency, which he's greatly thankful for.

Senior Counsel
▸Mirabelle [✩]

Despite being yet another spawn of Aphrodite, Aiden's grown
to think of Mirabelle as a friend. Both of them have spent
quite some time at Camp Half-Blood, and they have a number
of events, they bond over, though some are happier than
others. Aiden used to loathe her because she liked sticking
her nose in places it didn't belong, but he knows she means
well, and she's since earned his respect. He's even come to
think of her as a friend.

▸Hank [★]

Aiden always got along well with Hank, ever since the Apollo
camper came to Camp Half-Blood five years ago. Origninally,
it began as a competitive rivalry that grew into a friendship,
and it only grew after Hank became a head counselor. Aiden
always looked up to Hank because of how skilled he was and
by his stories of the outside world, but things changed when
Hank started staying year-round. Aiden helped him make the
adjustment, but it only cemented his own thoughts about
staying within the safety of the demigod camp.

▸Orin [★]

Understandably, most of the other campers seem to share
a similar distaste for Orin's headstrong, overconfident
nature, but Aiden sees something more than that. Aiden
feels inspired by Orin's nature to take the power equated to
his father and make it his own, and the two cabin heads
are often the first to take charge and start finding solutions
when problems arise.

▸Cass [★]

Out of all the other head counselors, Aiden gets along best
with Cassandra. They go way back to Aiden's days unclaimed
in the Hermes cabin, and his bond with her is one of the big
reasons Aiden is partial to Juliet and her pranks, as well as
Hermes kids in general. Though he could use a little less of
Cass' mockeries about his height; a son of Athena isn't the
best armrest, you know.

▸Auggie [✔]

August is pretty harsh on the best days, but Aiden has come
to know and even appreciate her bluntness. Her standoffish
nature doesn't disqualify her input by any means, and Aiden
usually tries to counter and cancel out her brooding with
his own humor, as it makes working with her more
manageable for other campers. They butt heads from time
to time, but that's a given when you pit two headstrong
demigods together.

▸Delilah [✔]

Aiden has a massive amount of respect for both Delilah and
her twin. She's been a Half-Blood camper for as long as he
can remember, not to mention she's the Hypnos cabin head
counselor. He loves her company and enjoys working with
her during counselor meetings, but when it comes to training
and camp events... it's safe to say she wears his patience thin.

▸Hu [◆]

While he doesn't say it outright, Hu really grates
on Aiden's nerves. Something about her personality
just doesn't do it for him, and the only time he really
tolerates her being around is during counselor meetings.
