i really am not experienced drawing animals, any advice? this is the first (non-anthro) cat i've drawn haha. i used a reference from the CS reference photos.

this is awesome for a first go!
my tip is always to use reference, so you're already there! i recommend tracing over references as well to get an idea of proportions (and obviously only use free use images and credit if you post anywhere), and break up the cat's body in the sketch form into different shapes (muzzle, head, ears, neck, torso, body, arms + legs (top), arms + legs (bottom), paws + tail) to see all the different shapes and make sure they connect correctly!
