Did we just get Belsnickel?! Or Krampus?

Anouki is based in Germany and he has his little basket, so I'm guessing this is probably Belsnickel rather than Krampus!

I drew this guy, actually! He is indeed Krampus I looked to the Wikipedia description of him for this!

Ooh, my bad! I looked at the wrong pup in the archive haha! He's absolutely lovely either way. I missed him and I'm sure he's gonna be a pain to trade for!

I think he's my favourite. He is the Horned God if anyone knows of the Celtic/Pagan deities.

Actually he is Krampus. The artist confirmed it. Although, The Horned God would be awesome. I would Love seeing more Pagan-related pets. I absolutely love the past Yule Goats from years ago Advent.

I've seen a few pets recently that I've hoarded immediately, but I actually screamed when I saw this one. Much love to the artist!

These are wooden figures that have a long tradition in a region called the ore mountains. The miner became a symbol for faith, hope and luck, since miners spent all day working in dark and dangerous mines. Around the year 1850, people outside of the mines would put wooden miner figures with candles attached to them in their windows during winter, to guide the way home for the miners who'd come out of the mines at night, never seeing the light of day.
It then became tradition to also put a wooden angel figure next to the miners in the windows. Ever since then the miner and angel are sold in pairs and people to this day put them on display in their windows and homes.
The design of the pets is based on traditional miners outfits that are nowadays only worn during events and the angel designs that originated in the Biedermeier era.
