as snow falls in the gathering clearing, a single cat emerges from the trees. with a pelt patterned like the snowfall, it's almost too difficult to make her out. but then she laughs, sounding like the sweetest bells. she appears friendly and approachable, but just as fleeting as a gentle snowflake. but perhaps she could be convinced to stay a little bit longer...

An eager young kittypet prances into the clearing, bell on his collar jingling all the way. The first frost clings to the ground he trots over, and the gently-falling snow around him nearly makes him unnoticable. Or, it would have, if he weren't in such a strange outfit. Green and red eyes survey the gathered cats with excitement, his short little tail wriggling joyfully.

"Hello, there!" he greets, smiling brightly at the first cat to come his way. "'Tis the season! My name is Peppermint, nice to meet you." At the curious look he receives, the young kittypet tilts his head curiously. "My costume?" Peppermint asks, glancing down first at his collar and then up to the extravagant antlered headband he wears. He winks playfully after the other cat's nod confirms his suspicions. "I'm one of Santa's reindeer, obviously! Can you guess which one?"
