Two birght aqua pools peeked out from the shadows between the roots of the fallen pine tree. The eyes like a pair of bubbles of sweet ocean water hung in the darkness as if they were connected to nothing but the shadows. Then the shadows transformed into the slender form of a wolf. She held his head high in pride as she slipped out from the roots of the tree, the place she had used for a den that night. Shee stretched lazily, her mouth opening wide in a yawn exposing her shiney white canines. Upon straightening from her bowing form she shook the clingly moss from her thick dark grey pelt before finally speaking aloud in a low voice as if their were enemies hearing range, which was actually possible, "Finally. Morning." She trotted forward, keep her ears perked high so she could catch the sound of any apporaching creatures. She heard nothing but the soft murmur of a creek in the distance.

((Ok thanks. Now I have to earn lead hunter *Thinks*))
Griffon Walked out of his den and shook his bright red fur. He sighed and thought of how he could prove himself worthy of lead hunter to his alpha. His head shot up as he thought of an idea. He knew that the pack never got anything but Deer and elk and rabbits so he would catch something even harder to get: A large bird. He caught a mouse, since he knew birds liked to eat them for some reason, and laid it in the field. A bird finally came down and Griffon pounced on it. He bit it hard several times until it fell. He picked it up, not even minding the large cuts he had down his sides and carried it proudly to the kill pile.

Griffon looked proudly at his kill and thought for sure when his alpha came back he would be the Lead hunter. Or mabye not. He had to catch more for his pack. He ran and killed another mouse for another bird. Another swooped down more cautiously but it was no match for Griffon. He killed that one too and put it next to the other bird and waited for his Alpha to come back.
