CHB: Into the Storm - Discussion Thread

I live in the country, so we can only get access to one internet company, and it's so bad that they're in the middle of making of new router. You're so lucky it came on in time, oh my goodness! I sometimes have to go somewhere public like a cafe to get the WiFi for my classes...

Are we timeskipping to this event, or are we just small-talking our way over?

I have the wild child, Demeter's daughter - Poppy Rye. She's pretty much a free spirit who loves plants - as long as they're wildflowers, and anything and everything to do with horses. She gets along with everyone for the most part - she's a bit scattered and doesn't sit still for too long - which I'm guessing is going to rub some people the wrong way.

My other character, Ben Asher is a son of Hephaestus and is usually calm and quiet, He loves to work with his hands and can make just about anything you could imagine. He is a great listener and friend to anyone in need - but doesn't like to be in the spotlight and stays to the outskirts. When playing camp games, he likes to be on the engineering side instead of the actual fighting - like a conductor sitting back in the action but pulling the right strings at the right times to make the symphony come together in a crashing crescendo - or the perfect moment when the grenades, mines, booby-traps and bombs go off at the same time causing complete chaos for the opposing team.

My intros will be up in a couple hours - finishing up with work soon.

Just out of curiosity, how do you plan on roleplaying out Capture the Flag?

Also @WitchHazel i love the lipstick idea for Mirabelle. Could I potentially do something like that? I was thinking maybe a mascara wand that lengthens into a bow?

It's gonna be interesting, for sure! (and there may or may not be a twist... c:< )
There are going to be teams, of course - I'll be dividing up the cabins in a manner as to hopefully have a pretty equal amount of characters on each team! ...then, it's pretty much a free-for-all; just make sure not to kill anyone's characters or anything without expressive permission - try to stay away from powerplaying c:

@Hazel, I think I avoided powerplaying (so far) with Aggy? Please let me know if I messed it up. I'm trying to balance her half-blood powers with her inexperience in this style of combat, and I think it's okay? I'm not the best judge lol

Okay thank you! Are there going to be multiple games throughout the roleplay? I'm afraid to throw my character into one seeing how I as a writer can't remember how it works Camp Halfblood style, but also don't want to sit it out if we won't have another anytime soon.
