prompt: He always plays the assassin in both modern and fantasy style games, or any role that allows him to sneak around and do things silently. He is a huge perfectionist, and in single player games, you can expect a couple of restarts to get that perfect game with all sneak kills and no alerts. If he was going to do something, it had to be the most efficient way. Its more fun, in his opinion, than just stacking up on bullets and going haywire with guns and explosives, or pulling out a big blade and swinging willy-nilly. That, and the fact that he was horrible at having to aim and pay attention to multiple things at once. But there's no way he'll admit that to his friends.
He does prefer games set in the past, where blades are the main weapon of choice. Assassins are all about up-close work, and the idea of clashing blades was exciting, even if it occurred rarely. And one had to hide in the shadows and stay silent in order to get close, which he felt involved more strategy than just sitting in the opposite rooftop with a rifle. Quiet planning over in-the-moment panic, that was his way.
