... Clearly listening to Slashkit’s conversation with her adoptive mother, her wars perked up, knowing her mother didn’t like opening up to anyone. “Hey Slashkit, Evercloud doesn’t really like talking about her mate,”...

The she-cat purred happily as her mother pulled her close and began to give her few licks. She pressed her hear up against Evercloud’s chest and gave a soft lick in response before looking over at Cedarsnow. Acornkit pouted instantly, “But Cedarsnow,” she mewed. “I’m gonna miss you! I wish I could come,” Acornkit paused, thinking. “One day, we’ll be hunting together! I’ll be an apprentice soon!” She purred happily.

"Hey, Kestreldawn. Duststar asked for us to go on a border patrol, including your apprentice." The warrior said as he approached the other cats.

The apprentice dashed closer to Spottedpelt's side while keeping low to the ground just as he remembered Silverbrook doing. Close enough he tried taking the bigger cat down. To do this he tried to sweep him off his paws, beginning with his front legs.

Creamflower notices Seeker, an elder, over by the medicine cat's den and decides to see if they have any stories to tell her. Picking up her fish, she pads over to the elder and smiles. "Hello Seeker!" she said after dropping her fish. "Would it be a bother if I ask you to tell me a story?"

The large tabby shook his fur out, a few leaves flying off of him as he did so. Glancing around the makeshift den of sticks and leaves and the like, he realized that he would have to go hunting today as he’d finished the last of his rabbit last night.

She tilted her head for a brief second, as he continued with questions, not that she could blame him for that of course. It was in anyone’s nature to be curious. “He was, yes. And sometimes, they just need to leave.” As Slashkit mentioned their father, she had remembered that loner herself. He had oddly disappeared just before Breezespark had her sons and the day before Evercloud had realized she was expecting a litter. What odd timing, she thought. “Of course, I’d love to have your help, Slashkit.” She was mostly joking as for the first half moon, she would have to care for them herself as she would be the only nursing queen at that time. Turning to his brother, she nodded in agreement. “Most warriors play games if they’re not too serious, when they’re done with patrols and hunting. And if they are too serious, then they are just no fun.” She explained, mostly joking but she wasn’t wrong in what she said. Her heart was filled with warmth when Acornkit had given her a lick on her chest fur. “Maybe one day, he could be your mentor as well.” She spoke, having been seriously thinking of the idea for a while now.

She softened, before shaking her head to the elder's apology and walking off from them and one of the queens, barely catching the end of what she had said, waving her tail as she headed back into the medicine cat's den.

He hummed softly sniffing the air as he was walking. Based on the time of day he knew of one good spot that had plenty of prey they could catch. He moved his ears around listening and once in a while sniffing the air. He stopped smelling some prey close by. He motioned to Splashpaw to take the lead into trying to catch the prey.

“There is so many I could tell,” they got themselves comfortable. “Do you want to hear a story Tinypaw?” They looked at the apprentice noticing they left.
