Typhoon was getting ready for his trial. He barked happily looking at his human as she was petting and saying some nice words to Nerón. What was all that about? Typhoon tilted his head with confusion, not really understanding what was going on. But not long after, he completely understood why that was. What kind of special information or treatment was he having?
Typhoon was about to start his agility test when suddenly, he heard a weird noise. What was that? He shook his body and tried to focus on what he was about to do. He finished his test with some effort... At the end of his test, a giant bird appeared in his way, and what’s more, started to pursue him and his owner! Now Typhoon could understand, Nerón hates birds!
Nerón barked angrily watching the furious turkey attack his family, running towards it from its back, but as it turned towards him to face the incoming dog, he quickly fleed away in search of safety near their car! Other participants and watchers were having some struggles with them, but, fortunately, the bird chaos didn’t last long. They were captured and taken to somewhere safe, and this could be now told as a funny story…
The day the turkeys invaded the lands!

For Miels Herding Trial
It was autumn. The seasons were changing, as evident by the red and gold painted leaves, the pile of leaves under every tree, and the cold winds brushing the land. Geese soared above, making their way south for the winter. Miel loved this time of year. It was the perfect motivator to do good, because of the holidays! If he did well, his thanksgiving feast would be immaculate. He didn't want to be stuck with broccoli and brussel sprouts like last year. However, there is an issue. He finds cattle pretty intimidating, so it's hard for him to focus when the only thing he can concentrate on is how large and scary the cows are.
Miel got wind from a few of the duck herders that there was a new bird on the grounds. Miel has always loved the cute ducks, they were loud and proud, and fun to scare. Miel made his was on over to the duck herding area, where the turkeys would be temporarily, and upon seeing them, he was shook. Their large brown frame, flamboyant tail feathers and weirdly colored heads really gave Miel a scare. It was when one of the turkeys walked up to him gobbling, he ran away. He ran and sat under a chair, hiding from these strange birds. The turkeys looked on in confusion. Determined to try and get to know the poultry, Miel confidently walked up to a turkey. The turkey stared Miel in the eye, and began harshly pecking his nose.
Miel yelped in pain and ran away from those vicious birds. The indignity!

As soon as Mesquite set paw outside of the car, she immediately tried to turn and hop back inside- it was warm in there, and freezing outside! It took quite a lot of coaxing, treats, and her owner's spare hoodie to convince her to stay outside. She hunkered down next to her owner, doing her best to shoot him sad looks with occasional whining, seeing if she could convince him to put her back inside the warm car. While she was excited about the upcoming trial, the last thing she wanted to be doing was freezing her rear off outside in the cold, and the wind wasn't helping. Finally, it was their turn for the trial- Mesquite wasn't convinced that it was still a good idea, and stubbornly tried to keep her owner's hoodie on at the start of the trial, backing away and refusing to let him take it off. She would be loosing her only source of warmth! Mesquite could sense her owner's growing frustration as he tried to keep taking the hoodie off, and Mesquite wagged her tail when she saw him give up and lead his stubborn but warm collie in a hoodie up to the starting point for the trial.
