Darkear would go huntin for them, considering that many hungry animals would be out by now, hoping to catch some good food. He wondered if he should have put more hunting patrols out... He shook the thought away, looking over at the hill they were soon to pass. "Well, Whitethroat, time to show ya. This is the Ghost Glade, where we communicate with our ancestors. Once I die, you will be in charge of the clan. And Cherrydusk will bring you here. You will recieve your lives, and you will lead. I'm not sure how the future leader will do it, but who knows." They padded forward to the trickling pool. It was larger than the last time they were here. "I think you better learn what happens here." Touching their noses to the pool, the chilly calmness swept over them as they looked over at Runningstar. She smiled. "Hello, Whitethroat and Hootstar. Have you come to make another request?" Hootstar nodded, nudging Whitethroat forward. "Oh, uhm. Maybe..." Looking back at Hootstar for reasurance, he shrugged. "Well, let's see... How about an apprentice for Whitethroat? I think it would be best the deputies had some mentoring experience." Smiling again, Runningstar and the other cats started to fade. "We'll see about that." As the final, brightest of the faded souls were swept away by unknown forces, Whitethroat cocked his head to the side. //

newleaf -- the cold weather has finally left, and prey and predators alike have decided to come out in full force. while prey isn't as plentiful as it would be in greenleaf, the abundance compared to leafbare is not an unwelcome sight. new cats are more common as well as they search for a new home after a harsh leafbare. floods or sickness are still possible, so it's important medicine cats keep herbs at paw and warriors keep their wits about them on patrols.

"Mousebrained snow." Brairstar muttered. She had caught two hares, and was going to chase another when she fell headfirst into the snow. Though she was now cursing the snow. The very thing her clan was named after. That would bring about bad luck. For sure.

But the words might have brought her good luck, because later, Brairstar came across a rouge. He had seemed interested in joining, so Brairstar took him in. His name was Frost. But, that wouldn't do for a Clan.

And the first thing that the she-cat noticed was his bright amber eyes. So then his name was changed to Frosteyes.

And then SnowClan gained a new member.

Clan Tradition:
When an apprentice is ready to become a warrior, they shall go on a week long quest into the Two-Leg territory on the western boarder, where they will look for a monkey by the name of Fitzgerald, and he will make their new clan collar for them. If they succeed then they shall be welcomed back to the clan as a full warrior, if they do not then they will have to train for an additional moon before they are able to try again. If they fail a second time, they are banished from the clan for weakness and a disrespect for clan tradition and law.
