August Jeun Lee was born as the only child of Jonathan Lee, a chef, and Karoline Lee, a well-known fashion designer. August doesn't remember much of his early life or his parents due to car accident when he was six years old in which he was the only survivor. After the funeral, his mother's younger sister took him into her home and raised him before eventually adopting him when he was eight. It was around this time that Auggie's abilities started to develop, though he was able to hide it from the people around him until his second year of middle school when he was jumped by older students, he used their shadows to defend himself and fight back. Because of this incident, his aunt pulled him out of public school and hired private tutors to teach him. After August uses his abilities he almost immediately feels lightheaded and nauseous. If he uses his powers strenuously too often his attitude and behavior changes , he becomes impulsive and acts severely out of character, this can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Auggie is typically a very outgoing person who rarely gets into conflicts with other people without their being a serious reason for it. He's extremely loyal and affectionate to those he cares about, displaying this with either physically affection or small gifts he gets for them. At times he's quite uncomfortable when people are arguing in front of him and can be slightly insecure due to the years of bullying he experiences.

Jiang Xiaoxing was born the only child and heir-apparent of Jiang Lulin, Ceo of Jiang Cosmetics, and Wu Hongwen, director of Wu Coffee. The reason for having his mother's surname instead of his father is due not only to the Jiang family being wealthier but his mother was more in need of an heir than his father who wasn't even next in line for his family. Xiaoxing's parents divorced when he was four years old and can vaguely recall them fighting a lot, his father re-married shortly after and had a child with his new wife. He learned later that they divorced was because his father's new wife had been his mistress and had fallen pregnant. Xiaoxing went through a strict education from a young age and rarely had a moment to act like a child which lead him to acting out in mischievous and devious ways. Though while his mother was watching he always acted his part as the perfect obedient little angel. He started partying a lot as a teen and was involved in a lot of so-called relationships that never ended well, he never really liked the other person, only agreeing to date out of pity and guilt. Xiaoxing wears two different masks: the one of the obedient heir, the charismatic scamp. The only people who get to see the real him are the people he likes, which are the other F4 members and who ever he ends up dating out of genuine affection. Xiaoxing is extremely intelligent and actually enjoys the fact the he will inherit Jiang Cosmetics. Loyalty is extremely important to him especially after learning of the reason for his parents' divorce. Though he believes honestly is important, he doesn't find anything wrong with lying if he sees it's necessary, but he never lies to his friends.

While she is skilled in archery and has used her bow & arrow numerous times, she prefers to take a non-combative role as a healer and sees fighting as a last resort. Despite being quite friendly, it does take her a bit of time to warm up to a new person. Ailey is extremely loyal to her friends and especially her paternal half-siblings. She's very hesitant in flirting and dating despite being a hopeless romantic. Her aunt often told her that she had to think of the safety others before she could ever think of her own. Seiya Miura, or Adrien, is the son of Demeter and Jun Miura, a lawyer. Seiya can barely remember his father or what the man even looked like. He can't really member any of his early childhood besides the day of eighth birthday when his father dropped him off at Camp Half-Blood. His father had been yanking him through the foods when he tripped and fell, hitting his head on a large rock and passing out. It wasn't until he woke up in his father's arms as he was placing him on the ground in front of the camp. As he never saw his father again, Adrien has a lot of internalize resentment towards his father and anger in general. Adrien rarely speaks unless he really has to and tends to avoid others. He's often been called sulky and gets easily irritated if someone bothers him. Seiya only likes and trusts a handful of people and tries to avoid drama at all costs. He doesn't flirt and doesn't really understand flirting, he's also super obvilious to it. Whenever he does speak, it tends to be in a gruff tone and sounds snarky and rude thought it isn't always intentional. When people he doesn't like or know talk to him, Ren stares at them with a blank face until they stop.

Sebastian Anurak Rattana was born as the oldest son of Kasem Rattana, a farmer, and Lydia Rattana, a scholar. He is ten minutes older than Magnus, his twin brother and has always felt an obligation to protect him. The majority of his early childhood was spent working on the farm with his, helping his mother sort her papers, or playing with his brother. His father's farm was located a little far from from the settlement and the family would have to walk or ride one of the horses for some distance in order to reach the others. One day when he and Magnus were 15 years old, they arrived back to the farm after school lessons to find their parents being held hostage. The twins were quickly captured and Magnus was knocked out when he tried to run towards their parents. He was able to eventually get to his parents when the men had taken what they wanted and held his parents hands as they exited existence together. Bastian filled a bag with the few valuables that hadn't been taken and managed to get his brother on one of their horses before riding towards the settlement. After that he started working harder to follow in his mother's footsteps and became one of the settlements best scholars. Sebastian is an extremely driven individual that splits his time between his work as a scholar and keeping an eye on his twin brother. He is almost always serious and only really pays attention to the few people who manage to break through his gruff exterior. The only person he really shows affection to his brother. Seb always puts Magnus above himself and everyone else as he is the only family he has left.
