She laid at her nest, not wanting to leave the warm nest just yet, even if the den started to be rather silent as almost everyone was out at the moment. Her eyes peeked after Sleetnose as the tom made his way out of the den as well, she still didn't felt like doing so even if she knows she maybe could.

After her solo hunt by herself, the white she-cat made her way back to camp, caring two birds on her jaws. She dropped one of them to the pile and took the bigger one to the nursery "Good morning kits, are you eat yet?" she meowed gently looking at the younger cats one after another "I bought you this bird to share if interested to" she meowed.

He sat near the entrance of the warriors den, his two colored eyes watching as her sister got to camp and made her way toward the nursery. Usually it was him who did the early morning hunts, but today he didn't felt like it, even if he was starting to get bored.

He walked out of the apprentices den still very tired even if he sleeps like a dead last night, no matter how much he slept he was always tired. He sighed as he made a notice that most of the clan was already up and out of the camp too, he was not sure if he slept too long or was the other too early.

Hollypaw saw Rumblepaw walk out tiredly and she beckoned him over with her tail. She gave her paws a few swift licks and cleaned the leaves that stuck to her pelt.

Ravenpaw yawned again and saw Flypaw. He walked over to him and dipped his head to the fellow trainee, “Hi Flypaw.”

He smiled and said teasingly, “I’m ready, only if you can catch me first.” He tore off, making sure that his speed could be slow so the young she kit could actually catch him. If he went top speed, there was no chance his sister or anyone could really catch him. Well... except for the warriors and apprentices of course.
He said, “Thanks Alprose. I’d love to.” He nuzzled her in thanks and smiled.

apollostar had readied the list in his head, and began to look around once more. he knew he wouldn't be heard right now, due to the crowd of awakened cats. he bounded up the tall cliff'ish rock towards the exit of the camp, and stood for a few moments before he yowled for everyones attention. "it is time for a patrol, this morning!" he yowled once more. he wait a few moments for the noise to go down. "today, i will be taking the following cats on our patrol. these cats are tigerpaw, flypaw, ashface, sleetnose, and cypresspaw," he called, waiting for those cats to distinguish themselves from the others.

Flypaw immediately jumped up at hearing Apollostar say his name, excitement immediately bubbling up inside him again. Finally! He promptly dashed out of the crowd to where the patrol cats were slowly accumulating, kneading his paws on the cold ground impatiently.

Sleetnose looked up at hearing Apollostar's words, and he reluctantly stood up from the shady corner where he was resting, and warily pushed his way through the crowded clearing to under where Apollostar was sat. He stood awkwardly as he waited for the other patrol cats to arrive, avoiding anyone's gaze.

“Oh can we?” She looked up at her mentor, then to the entrance of the den as she heard Apollostar round up cats for the meeting; her brother would be going. “If anything we could get my brother to do it, he would do anything to show off. He would treat bee stings like battle scars.” Dreampaw chuckled.

“Yes!” Cypresspaw exclaimed, jumping up to head with the other patrol members. His tail brushed against Tigerpaw as he made his way over. “Come on, looks like we can stick around a little longer.”

Ashface padded over to Apollostar when he heard his name for the patrol. He sat down at waited for the rest of the patrol to gather. He liked going on patrols they were fun. Especially considering they gave him a great time for hunting.
There were times he wished he had an apprentice. Hopefully with the growing kits he would get one to train all on his own but for now, he watched as they were being taught.

apollostar smiled at the cats, bounding down from his area to meet them. "perfect! looks like you all heard me, now i know you apprentices don't all have your mentors here," he meowed, his gaze bouncing from each of the apprentices. "but, i brought 3 adults here, a little change for your learning," he added, now looking at ashface and sleetnose. "i'm hoping something a little new could help you learn more today. i'm not sure if any have you have been on a patrol yet, but that's not my biggest concern. be aware of your surroundings, we don't know if any dangers may be present today," he continued, heading in front of the small group, flicking his tail to signal them to follow.

Flypaw listened to Apollostar's words carefully, still full of excitement. He immediately followed after Apollostar as the leader started heading off, looking around his surroundings with curiousity - he was still young and hadn't had much time out of camp, so he was always very thrilled to get any chance to go outside and explore.

Sleetnose watched the rest of the patrol cats arrive, and listened to Apollostar in silence. He steadily followed the leader alongside the rest of the patrol, keeping himself further at the back of the group of cats.

Dreampaw nodded her head. “Okay, I promise.” She was used to keeping some secrets, it was part of medicine cat business after all. She leaned toward her mentor, awaiting her message.

Cypresspaw walked coolly near the others, glancing at the surroundings as they passed. He’d been on patrols before so he knew the area pretty well. Cypresspaw looked at the two warriors Apollostar had chosen. Ashface seemed eager, and Sleetnose was silent but focused. They seem reliable. Pleased, he returned to studying the surroundings, parting his jaws occasionally to take in the scents.
