Red turned her gaze to Fleur as she watched the warrior approach with flowers among her collection. Perking up an ear of interest, she wondered if any of the flowers Fleur had picked were accidental herbs or if there were only petals meant to be decoration in that heap. She hoped that Fleur had enough sense in her not to pick herbs that Red might need - especially after Fleur's recent help in the Healer's Den.

More help than Liam ever could be. She thought on more than one occasion. She supposed she ought to find herself a Healer Trainee sooner than later. If only there were any pups to choose from. No one seemed inclined to get busy with one another and now with the threat of humans in the forest, there wouldn't be any time to even entertain such a claim. Her nose twitching, she moved her gaze out onto the other wolves. Many wolves it seemed, were speaking amongst their own packs. Not very sociable considering there was a Meet. Couldn't they speak to one another any time beyond that? How was she supposed to overhear gossip if no one would come talk to her?!

Turning her head to Fleur, she asked,
"Watch my station for a moment? I'm going to go see if I can't rustle up some customers for us." She told she she-wolf. "Even if I have to drag them over by their tails." Padding off shortly after, she started towards some of the Lightning wolves. Not too close, but close enough to overhear any juicy bits of conversation. Mostly, however, she was looking towards their paws or mouths to see who had brought things to trade and who, well, hadn't.

Enui considered the report. So, there was a rabbit warren - simply out of the question, a series of caves that went underground or remained above it and an open area. So, it was between being underground with the caves or being out in the open? She repressed a sigh.

"Thank you, Cinnamon, for your report." She replied. "I will call upon you again once Max has returned to give a report in more detail should the Alpha request it, but for now, you are dismissed. May you rest and eat well with the rest of your patrol - you've all earned it." She assured the Scout and Achak and waved a paw by way of dismissal.

With that out of the way, she turned her gaze back towards the Alpha's Den for a moment. Should she bother Moon with this? No. Being an Alpha's Mate didn't mean you actually had a say of what happened in the pack, it just meant you sired the pups of the current Alpha. She flicked her ears and turned her gaze back around. Besides, Moon hadn't been seen outside of her den for days. It was better to leave her out of pack matters - did she even know about the threat of humans in the forest? Tsk.

I'd bet not. Enui thought and focused her eyes and attention elsewhere.

Zeus laughed.
"Hey, I'm right there with you. Warm seasons, cold seasons, with my fur it's all the same temperature for me. The only thing I can't shake is when I get muddy, but that just means I go right back into the river. Most wolves don't try to go, since they've got shorter coats - I sympathize with that, no one likes being cold! But you and me, we don't have to worry about that stuff. Why, I'd go so far to say we're the fluffiest in the pack." She laughed. "Imagine our pups! Well, if we could have them anyway. Probably best that we can't, they'd be walking puffballs." She snorted.

Zeus nodded from where she lay, her head draped across the back of Fish's neck.
"Absolutely and completely comfortable." She assured her companion. "If I had no further responsibilities in life, I should love to spend my life at your side like this."

Parker laughed and said smiling, “Ya it probably did. Hey maybe if enough bird feathers get into my fur I can look like a bird.”

“No problem. Hey, want to have dinner with me?” Katniss said with a kind and somewhat sheepish tone.

Bailey/female/Tags: Open/Location: Meet Hollow/L-Pack Warrior/Bisexual (poly-open)/Crush might be Fish and Zeus/Trainee: Leo
Bailey walked around, her gaze darting until she found a bush. The young Warrior sighed and crawled into the bush. It was perfect for her and her silky, yet fluffy pelt was starting to stick to the branches. She sighed and rested her head on the ground. She felt the branches pricking her and she crawled out. She shook her pelt of the branches and leaves and continued on. Bailey looked over to a bigger bush and crawled in. She thought, perfect. She looked back to the group of wolves. Bailey was a social wolf, but this amount of wolves was a bit nerv wracking for her. She rested her head in the ground and looked over to see a group of trainees. She thought, I remember when I was a trainee.

Cinnamon
(Mobile)

Cinnamon dipped her head and rose silently from her seat, ignoring the protest of her muscles. They’d be resting soon enough, anyways. The Scout smiled at Achak warmly before turning away and heading to the prey pile. Her stomach rumbled, clearly indicating it was hungry- the patrol hadn’t had too much time to hunt once their first priority was to scout out some areas. Cinnamon began to approach the small mound of animals, most of her focus now shifting towards a rather nice looking squirrel.

Fleur

Fleur flicked an ear towards Red and turned her head to face the other female, wagging her tail a short ways and nodding. “Good idea.” She sat closer to Red’s carefully laid out herbs and stole a glance at her own pathetic pile of flowers. Hm. Perhaps she should have put more effort into her gifts. Stronger relations with others could form alliances, and that meant power. I’ll remember that for next time. She mused, watching Red begin to mingle amongst the Lightning Pack wolves.

Harvest

Harvest had sheepishly attended the Meet, but she was far more shy than any of her companions. She hadn’t been expecting to be picked, so she’d snatched the first reasonable item that she could see to bring, which turned out to be a small mouse, dangling by its tail from her jaws. At the very least it was warm and fresh, and she swung her gaze around nervously. It seemed like many wolves had already paired off and were smitten.

Asphodel

Back at the Lightning Pack camp, Asphodel was keeping a close watch over the young pups that Zeus had instructed him to. Luckily they all seemed very good at keeping themselves occupied, so he allowed himself to daydream just a bit. It was where his deeper thoughts came from, and his ability to advise Alpha Shadow to the best of his ability. His brown eyes were half open as he gazed blankly ahead, ears lazily angled.

Rue tags Parker and cat

Rue snorts and raise a paw infront of her muzzle then breaks out in to laughter and says “what would make you think that Parker?” She chuckles

Aala tags pups

Aala watches the pups intently and says “are you to ok?” She flicks her tail

Achak tags cinnamon

Achak smiles and picks him self up and pads after cinnamon. He nuzzles her shoulder and says “you did great with the report!” He wags his tail and grabs a small thrush from the pile
