11/2/20 || Horizonstar, Bramblestorm || 129 wordswriting wrote:"We can't find Cypresstail," Bramblestorm reported to her leader. Her mew was laced with anxiety.
"When did he go missing?" Horizonstar asked, frowning.
"During the whiteout," The deputy told her. "I have no idea what happened. We just can't find him. We didn't find him with Windsnarl or Brindleleap either."
"I doubt he would have wandered off on his own though!" Horizonstar gasped.
"Maybe he went out looking for Brindleleap and Windsnarl," Bramblestorm guessed. "And on the way..."
The brown molly didn't finish her sentence. Horizonstar let out a long sigh, closing her eyes for a moment so she could collect her thoughts. The leader rested her tail on Bramblestorm's shoulder reassuringly.
"I'm sure everything will be okay," Horizonstar told her. "I trust that Starclan will keep him safe."

11/8/20 || Peachpaw, Honeyheart || 393 wordswriting wrote:Peachpaw raised her head, noticing a quiet shuffling from behind her.
"Currentbreeze?" She called out cautiously. There was no reply, which put Peachpaw on guard. She slid out her claws and straightened up.
An angry yowl caused her to turn around and she saw Honeyheart spring towards her. The tom tackled her, pinning her down. His amber eyes were full of fury, and his claws dug into Peachpaw's shoulder.
"What are you doing?" Peachpaw hissed, narrowing her eyes.
"You killed my sister," He snapped back. "And now I'm going to get revenge."
"You're crazy!" Peachpaw snapped, squirming underneath the newly made warrior. "Let me go!"
Honeyheart lifted an angry paw to swipe Peachpaw's face but he was caught off guard as the molly kicked him in the stomach and wiggled out from underneath him. He shook his head, growling. Peachpaw was obviously smaller than him, but she wasn't weaker. The cream molly straightened her stance and shook her pelt, glaring daggers at Honeyheart.
"You're really going to break the warrior code immediately after you become a warrior?" Peachpaw snarled. "How pathetic."
"Shut up!" He roared. "You don't know anything about the warrior code, you flea bitten rogue."
"At least I don't attack my clanmates out of grief!" She taunted. "But what would you know? Your parents were both kittypets. I may have been a rogue but at least I was forest born."
Honeyheart let out a furious snarl and lunged at Peachpaw again. The apprentice slid out of the way and pounced on top of him, holding him down by his head.
"You talk too much," Peachpaw commented.
"Shut up," Honeyheart snarled.
Honeyheart threw Peachpaw off, and threw himself at the molly, slamming into her with his shoulder. Peachpaw let out a surprised gasp and stumbled back. Her tail was fluffed up, and she let out a threatening growl. Honeyheart started running towards the molly again. Peachpaw reared up and slammed her paw against the side of Honeyheart's head. The tom was caught of guard and he tumbled to the ground.
"You're in my way," Peachpaw growled.
She lunged forward and bit down into Honeyheart's throat. The amber tom clawed at her and let out a weak yowl, but it died down slowly as the life drained out of him. Peachpaw stepped back, panting hard.
"Good riddance," She hissed at the dead warrior.

11/8/20 || Cypresstail, Bramblestorm || 143 wordswriting wrote:"H-Help!" Cypresstail called weakly. He had been alone for a whole moon. The curly furred tom had only managed to find small things to eat, and he was freezing. Everyday whenever he smelled a new scent he called out in hopes he would either be put out of his misery or saved.
"I think I hear something!"
Cypresstail raised his head, his vision blurry. He saw a brown figure step in front of him. A familiar scent flooded his nose and relief washed over him like a wave.
"Cypresstail?" Bramblestorm gasped. "Are you alive?"
"Help me, please," Cypresstail said weakly.
"Hang on buddy, we got you," Bramblestorm said, rushing forward and licking his head. "We're going to get you home safe."
The tom closed his eyes, his ears ringing. The last thing he remembered before he passed out was Bramblestorm grooming him gently.

11/26/20 || Copperheart, Currentbreeze, Willowpool || 201 wordswriting wrote:Currentbreeze's stomach twisted nervously as she paced around outside the nursery. Her head perked up as Copperpaw slid out and looked at her.
"You can come see her now," Copperpaw informed the she-cat.
"Did-" Currentbreeze was cut off by Copperpaw. "Three healthy kits, it was an easy birth."
Currentbreeze slid into the nursery slowly, even though she so desperately just wanted to burst in and jump straight towards her new children. Her heart fluttered at the sight of the small little bundles squirming near Willowpool's belly. The blue molly bent forward and nuzzled her mate's forehead. The calico smiled gently, but Currentbreeze could see she was exhausted from the delivery.
"What are their names?" Currentbreeze asked gently, laying down next to Willowpool.
"I was thinking you could help me," Her mate responded. "Though I think the little she-cat in the middle looks like a sunflower."
"Sunflowerkit!" The blue she-cat purred. "What about... Apricotkit for the orange tom?"
"That's cute," Willowpool purred softly. "What about the last little boy?"
Currentbreeze turned her muzzle outside, watching the stars outside twinkle against the dark purple sky. "Twilightkit," Currentbreeze said, returning her gaze back to her new family. "His pelt looks like the night sky."

11/26/20 || Cypresstail, Zephyrrush, Bramblebuzz, Marigoldpeta, Flightfeather || 379 wordswriting wrote:Cypresstail padded along the stream, watching intently. It was probably a stupid idea for him to go out alone after what happened in leaf-bare... but he needed time alone. The curly furred tom spotted Zephyrrush and his patrol making their way out towards the territory from camp. Cypresstail padded towards them.
"Hey can I join?" He asked.
"Sure, I don't see why not," Zephyrrush shrugged.
"Why were you out alone again?" Bramblebuzz frowned. "Remember what happened last time?"
"I just wanted to clear my mind, that's all," Cypresstail huffed.
The patrol did their usual thing, marking territory, and scouting around. Cypresstail stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed an unfamiliar smell.
"Guys I-"
"Zephyrrush I found a kitten!" Marigoldpetal called.
Cypresstail's stomach sank, realizing that he wouldn't be able to show them the strange smell now. He padded over to the rest of the patrol and saw Marigoldpetal holding a small calico kit by its scruff.
"Lemme go!" The kit squeaked angrily. "I'm gonna claw you to bits! I know lotsa warrior moves! I'm almost a warrior! Lemme go now!"
"How come she knows what warriors are?" Rushpaw tilted his head. "She can't be a rogue."
"Are you lost little one?" Cypresstail asked gently.
"Nuh-uh. My clan said I was too weak to be a warrior. So I was sended out alone to live alone. But I know lotsa warrior stuff, so don't test me!"
"Well... I think you're strong enough to be an Irisclan warrior," Cypresstail told the little she-cat.
"Yeah! Whaddya say you come back home with us?" Rushpaw purred happily.
"R-Really?" The kitten blinked excitedly. "Okay!"
Marigoldpetal set her down and gave her a gentle lick between her ears. The calico kit let out a mew of protest, but didn't run away from the patrol. It was obvious she hadn't eaten properly in awhile.
"What's your name, little one?" Cypresstail asked.
"Flightkit!" She responded happily.
"Come on Flightkit, let's go home."
"What's your name?" Flightkit asked, blinking at Cypresstail.
"Cypresstail!"
"Cypresstail, can you be my new papa?" Flightkit asked.
"I- uh-" Cypresstail blinked. He couldn't stay in the nursery with Flightkit, so how would he be a father? He shook his pelt as well as his thoughts and smiled at the little calico. "Of course."

11/26/20 || Wrenflight, Dawnbreeze || 149 wordswriting wrote:"Hey Wrenflight, do you want to go hunting with me?" Dawnbreeze asked.
"Sure," The tabby shrugged, following her friend out of camp.
Once the two she-cats were a good distance away from camp, Dawnbreeze spoke.
"I wanted to talk to you in private," Dawnbreeze said, her voice shaking.
"Is everything okay?" Wrenflight tilted her head, her face clouding with concern.
"Wrenflight, I love you," Dawnbreeze said. "I've always loved you."
"Oh,"
"W-What does that mean?" Dawnbreeze frowned.
"I'm sorry," Wrenflight looked down at her paws and shuffled them awkwardly. "I don't- I don't think I feel the same. I'm sorry."
Dawnbreeze's heart sank as Wrenflight's words hit her ears. The light left her ears and she let out a shaky sigh.
"I thought so," She mumbled. "it's alright."
"I want you to know this won't ruin our friendship, I promise!" Wrenflight frowned, but she could tell Dawnbreeze wasn't listening.

12/920 || Blueivy, Cloudbumble, Frozengaze, Hailstripe, Goosecall || 208 wordswriting wrote:"Come on, move your little rump," Blueivy said, nudging Cloudkit out of the nursery. "Look, your brother and sister are already waiting for you."
"But mooooooooooooooooom," Cloudkit whimpered. "What if I make a fool of myself in front of everyone else?"
"Oh nonsense, little one," Blueivy chuckled, nuzzling his ear reassuringly. "You'll do just fine."
"Yeah!" Frozenkit bounced over to her brother and mother, Hailkit on her heels. "You'll do great! Me an' Hailkit will be by your side, you don't have nothin' to worry about!"
"Uhhuh!" Hailkit grinned, headbutting his brother affectionately. "We got this! We're gonna be apprentices, and next thing you know it, warriors!"
"We're gonna be the greatest trio in Irisclan!" Frozenkit squeaked happily.
Their mother let out a delighted purr at the litter's enthusiasm. Goosecall padded over and sat down next to his mate, wrapping his tail around her.
"You three aren't causing trouble already, are you?" He chuckled.
"No!" Cloudkit giggled. "We're just getting ready for our ceremony!"
"Well you better go up now, Horizonstar is already climbing towards the meeting stump," Goosecall noted.
The three almost-apprentices scampered towards the leader, and the pair let out a laugh. Goosecall rubbed his cheek against Blueivy's. The two were so proud of their kits.

12/9/20 || Honeysneeze, Zephyrrush, Ashstream || 227 wordswriting wrote:Zephyrrush excitedly slid into the nursery to meet his new children, but his happiness was drained the moment he saw Ashstream standing next to Honeysneeze, nuzzling one of the kits. He held his tongue, not wanting to stress out his mate, but he didn't want Ashstream here. Zephyrrush thought he made it very clear she was no longer his daughter.
The grey tabby shoved past Ashstream, ignoring the hurt look on her face. He bent down and sniffed his kits before nuzzling Honeysneeze's belly gently. She smelled like milk and exhaustion, but Zephyrrush could tell from her face that she was proud of her two new kits. The tom watched in the corner of his eye as his daughter left the nursery and he settled himself down around Honeysneeze and their new children,
"Have you named them yet, dear?" The tom asked, licking her ear softly.
"This one looks like Honeyheart," She remarked, a hint of sadness in her voice. "I named him Sedgekit. He looks like a little sedge flower."
Zephyrrush ignored Honeysneeze's sad conclusion, not wanting to think about his dead son at the moment. He let out a purr and nuzzled her cheek.
"That's a lovely name," He told her. "What about the other kit?"
"Her name is Lilykit," Honeysneeze informed her mate. "She reminds me of those flowers... the lily of the valley."

12/9/20 || Ashstream, Peachmoon || 250 wordswriting wrote:Ashstream let out a frustrated hiss, clawing at the ground. Why couldn't her father just forgive her? It wasn't even her fault. It was Peachmoon's fault! But she didn't want to admit that. She didn't want to tell anyone about Peachmoon's actions. She cared too much about her. The molly had left the camp because she was so furious due to her father's cold actions towards her. She just wanted to see her new siblings. Now, she just wanted to be alone.
"Ashstream," The voice made her jump and she spun around to see Peachmoon standing behind her.
"Go away," The tabby hissed. "I want to be alone right now."
"Being alone when you're upset won't help,"
Ashstream sighed, and Peachmoon pressed her body against the other molly's. She rubbed her head softly on Ashstream's neck, and the silver tabby openly welcomed her affection. Peachmoon made her feel safe. She didn't know why. Sure, she had killed Breezepaw right in front of her, but it was for a good reason. That's what she told her. Ashstream accepted it.
"Peachmoon," The molly breathed out. "I love you."
"I love you too, Ashstream," She replied without missing a beat. "I always have, and I always will."
"Do you really mean that?" Ashstream asked.
"I do," The cream she-cat told her. She stepped back and looked into Ashstream's amber eyes. "I promise I'll keep you safe. Always. I'll do whatever I can to protect you. You won't ever have to feel pain again."

1/19/21 || Peachmoon, Wisteriapaw || 755 wordswriting wrote:Peachmoon let out a low hiss as she dragged the corpse of a rabbit through the cold morning. The molly was grumbling about one thing or another, and she was in an obviously sour mood.
"If Ashstream finds out about this I'm done for," She murmured to herself.
"Peachmoon?" The voice startled her, and she spun around. Wisteriapaw was standing in front of her, blinking curiously. "What are you doing?"
"Don't worry about it, it's warrior stuff, you wouldn't understand," Peachmoon shrugged, pushing the rabbit into a nearby bush with her hind paw.
"It looks like your hiding something..." Wisteriapaw frowned.
"No no no, it's just warrior business," Peachmoon said, beginning to grow frustrated. "There's nothing to worry about."
"I'm going to tell Horizonstar if you don't tell me what's going on!"
"Fine," Peachmoon rolled her eyes. "I was out hunting on my own and I caught a rabbit."
She moved the foliage aside to reveal the prey that was now growing cold. Wisteriapaw was getting on her nerves, and if she didn't get out of her fur, there would be serious consequences.
"I didn't want to share with anyone, but I guess you caught me," Peachmoon said casually, though she was lying.
She planned to stuff the rabbit full of death berries and feed it to Zephyrrush. He was getting in her way, and it was about time he died. But Wisteriapaw had interrupted her, and it was seriously angering her.
"If you share some with me I won't tell Horizonstar!" Wisteriapaw said boldly, smirking.
"You shouldn't even be out of camp alone without permission," Peachmoon hissed, narrowing her golden eyes. "I don't understand why you think you have some power over me, but that thought needs to die right now."
The sly look melted off of Wisteriapaw's face as Peachmoon's harsh tone cut through her confidence. The warrior's eyes were ice cold, and she was letting her frustration leak through her calm mask.
"Take a few bites and then get out of my fur," Peachmoon spat.
Wisteriapaw skittered towards the rabbit quickly. She bent down to take a bite of the rabbit but was caught by surprise as she felt a pair of teeth sink into her scruff. The brown tabby let out a startled cry, and she started flailing.
"Quit squirming!" Peachmoon growled through the smaller cat's fur.
"Let me go!" Wisteriapaw begged. "I'm sorry!"
"Oh you'll be sorry alright," Peachmoon snarled.
The cream warrior dragged the younger molly towards the river that split their territory at the base of the mountains. Wisteriapaw let out a startled cry once again, but Peachmoon ignored her, dragging her closer to the edge of the water.
"I-I can't swim!" Wisteriapaw sobbed. "Stop! Please! I'm sorry- I won't tell anyone about this!"
Peachmoon let go of Wisteriapaw's scruff, spitting out some of her fur and blood. The brown apprentice was too terrified to do anything but stay in place and tremble. Peachmoon's face was completely blank, devoid of any emotion. Everything around them was eerily quiet aside from the bubbling of the stream. It seemed as if the world had stopped, as if everything around them was waiting anxiously to see what Peachmoon would do next.
"I can't swim," Wisteriapaw whimpered again. "Please-"
"I know you can't swim," The molly replied, her voice as cold as ice. "But you're going to get in that river anyways."
"W-What?"
"Did I stutter?" The warrior crept closer to Wisteriapaw, making her tremble even harder. "Get in the water."
"I'll die!" She gasped.
"Then die," Peachmoon hissed. "This is your punishment for disobeying the clan. Don't you want to be a true warrior? Or are you a coward?"
Her words stung like frostbite, and Wisteriapaw let out a conflicted whimper. With shaking paws, the smaller she-cat stepped into the river. The water only came up to her chest, and relief flooded through her. But it wouldn't last for long. Peachmoon had no intention of letting the apprentice live. She couldn't risk it at all.
"Go deeper," The older molly ordered.
"W-What?" Wisteriapaw's eyes widened. "Please, Peachmoon-"
"Go. Deeper."
The little tabby obeyed hesitantly, padding further into the middle of the stream until the water was up to her chin. She feared that if she attempted to turn around, she would be swept away from the current. The water was cold, not yet warmed up by the sun of the daytime.
"Good luck," Peachmoon spat, before turning around.
Wisteriapaw let out a desperate shriek as the warrior turned away from her.
