I got Gary Nulo seinor kibble to see how that does his bowels but it seems like he won't want it with great relish. this is ot good as if i mix wet with a fiber rescue kibble, I won't know if that will work. and there is no IBD drops over the counter. if he does have IBD
It depends on the cat but I've noticed older cats tend to like wet food more than dry. And in general wet food is better for cats. But if you need to feed him dry I would mix it in with wet food.
I agree that wet food is better for cats, it mimics their natural diet much more closely, especially when considering moisture content.
My 14 year old kitty has always favored dry food over wet, despite our best efforts to feed her wet. The nice thing about the dry food is that she loves to eat about two bites of food at a time and come back 20 min later, so at least the dry doesn't go bad like wet Does. Cats are weird man, and I love them so much for it
