"Goodjob." Nightingale said rising to her paws before stretching out her tiny form. "Shall we go put it on the pile?" She asked, but didn't wait for a response turning to head home. She didn't feel like hunting, but rather laying around in camp once more. "Let's go see who's awake now." She said over her shoulder just before bursting back into the camp with a good skid of dirt. Her eyes a bright amber with the sudden excitement.

She listened to the younger cat with a sight "I know, I've been young too, well still I am, but I hope anything is fine, nothing really matters so far" she meowed silently. Her ears once again scanned around the camp "well I guess I just need to wait, then" he meowed to them. She turned to look over to Dovepaw's mentor there talking with Smokewhisper and Rookfang there as well "well either of you could maybe hurry up or your mentors will leave without you" she meowed giving a smile to the two younger cats.

He walked forward toward the lake he was told to be a spot he wanted to go hunt at, the other warrior didn't seem to mind about his choices, so he took the lead to the lake. When the blue water showed up he stopped "we're here, so good luck for your hunt then Lostscream" he meowed with a gentle smile.

He stalked for birds first, but moved a little too late or slow to actually catch some, it was only one claw length away so he could hit the bird, but he didn't let it depress him. He wanted to bring something back to the clan and to his mentor, so he keeps looking for his next meal, he was hoping for some larger prey like a squirrel or even rabbit, but either of them didn't show up, there were some mice instead. He got to his position before strike toward the smaller animals, pinning it under his claws and killed it before it even recognized what happened. He thought for a moment, thinking if he could bring it back to Zephyr or try to catch a few other mice, there were some more nearby, he knows it.

She followed after Chibi to the fresh-kill pile, her eyes looked over to her fellow den mates to see if there was something going on or anything, the camp seemed somewhat calm, but there was this hight tension still. She looked back at Chibi who picked up a squirrel "Chibi, you sure that's not too large for just two of us?" she meowed looking at her baby sister.

SnagTooth watched the other cats walk off, yawning and deciding it was time for breakfast. He stood, waltzing over to the freshkill pile and picking a rabbit to chow on. It felt like moons has passed since he'd last had a good meal, so he savored this rabbit as if it were his last.

Frost watches Harpy bolt away, smoothing her fur. If they were dealing with an injured RainClan apprentice, they couldn't appear hostile. With a wave of her tail, she starts to lead Aquilo towards the apprentice, following Harpy's scent trail.

When she gets to the bloody mess of the apprentice she recognizes as Violetpaw, her fur puffs. A fox did this? Who would let such a young apprentice out alone?! Frost turns to Aquilo. "First, we should look for the fox, to see if it's nearby. If one has settled on our territory, than that's a danger for all of our cats. Then, we'll wait for Lynx to get here and decide how on earth we're going to tell RainClan about this." With a sigh, Frost pricks her ears, starting to investigate the surrounding area.

She half-way pouted at the lack of any response, and shrugged it off, assuming it was too early for a joke, and quickly padded back over to the medicine den, walking as fast as she could without risking slipping so she could see what was now going on. She entered as soon as Snowfall suggested a bandage punishment, and her eyes lit up deviously, stiffling a laugh as her mentor made the suggestion to Ravenfeather's apprentice. Minnowpaw was always getting into trouble, and the thought of them being forced to clean out the bandages in the back of the den was just as amusing as it could possibly get- She loved some light-hearted justice. "Hey, good luck with that," She mumbled to Minnowpaw, still holding back a giggle or two before padding over to the herbs, finishing what was left of her sorting now that her stomach was happy and full.

Offering a nod to Robinpaw as he left to head towards his mentor, he caught sight of another fellow apprentice finally up. It was Mallowpaw- a friend of his sister's. He thought she was nice, not that he'd outright compliment her on it, and they typically got along, and feeling a bit out of place just standing around camp doing nothing he padded over to her. His steps were light and slow, as they always were. He noticed her speaking to Waterlilyblaze, and his ears swiveled to pick up that the conversation was about Dawnpaw. He took a seat just behind them, and spoke up. "I saw her in her nest when I first woke up, but that was waaay earlier. I know I saw Velvetpaw head out at some point, so maybe she slipped out with her? Other than that guess, I've got no idea." He shrugged- it was the best explanation he could think of, but he wasn't actually sure if she'd ever went with Velvetpaw, cause if she had, he missed it. "Velvetpaw hasn't returned either." He acknowledged after a moment of thought, visibly confused. "Good morning by the way, Waterlilyblaze," He nodded to the warrior, before turning to the chocolate pointed she-cat in front of him. "-Mallowpaw" He continued, politely nodding in greeting to her right afterward.

He shrugged listening to Waterlilyblaze, and responded, "Being young usually means making trouble for lots of apprentices," He said breezily, his tone cool and tinged with annoyance. He didn't mind cutting up, but when it came to putting yourself in danger for fun- that's what he'd scoff at. He didn't see the entertainment of the risk, especially considering danger creeps around their border in the form of the rogues constantly waiting to strike. He shook the thought of the rogues out of his mind, and instead looked around the camp for his mentor- he was energized and ready to train.

Hearing Ashpaw mumble that Velvetpaw hadn't been seen in camp all morning made his heart sink like a rock tossed into the river- he began to feel even more sick with every moment that passed where the smell of blood was fresh in his nose but no sight of a body could be seen. He had a terrible feeling, and he ushered the group closer to the scent- by now he could tell it was indeed somewhere across the border, but not far at all. The river was in view now, but he did not look towards it, neither in pain nor sentiment- he was only focused on where the blood may be coming from. "Ashpaw, Adderpaw, please stay close to us. If something happens, fight if you must, but as a warrior I promise on my life I'll defend you if anything happens." He mumbled the words as quickly and as fast as his heart was beating. It was then that his eyes landed on two rogue felines sitting nearby what looked to be a smaller cat laying down, but it was hard to see as they were blocking part of the view. When they adjusted, however, Whitemist's entire body seemed to freeze. It was blood on the body. It was Velvetpaw.
"It's her. By those rogues.. let's go," He barely whispered, his body slowly moving itself towards the edge of the territory without going over, so as to address the rogues. He didn't want to do this- at all, nobody did, and it felt like he was now on auto-pilot, but he knew this had to be done. He felt his heart shatter as he got a better view of Velvetpaw's lifeless form. He waited to see if one of the other warriors wanted to speak first, as his throat was too tight to speak properly for the moment.

Upon feeling her apprentice leap on her back, she felt for the placements of all her paws. She was actually impressed she was staying on so well without having to unsheathe her claws. Hearing her apprentice's question, and the self-doubt lingering in her tone, Peachbreeze purred and quickly went to praise her. "Actually, your form seems perfect! Now, take note of her hind legs and where they're sitting right now- like this, you have full access the the soft side and underbelly of your opponent, and you're gonna wanna take advantage of this. I'd advise you to put all of your body's force into your hind legs, and just begin tearing into those soft spots. A little gruesome sounding, but when you're in fear of an opponent you may not otherwise be able to beat, you're gonna have to play as rough as you can if it's for your life." She explained both seriously and softly. "There's another option where you can mainly use your teeth to stick instead of your claws, and that opens up the possibility of face and chest shots with your front paws, but I'd say use that after the first version, as it's a little tougher to hang on as well if they aren't tired already."
