Sulking from his initial defeat, Rome crosses his paws over his chest and puffs out his chest in a pout. He mutely gestures to the apple bobbing tub, then to Sakura.
"You want me to try it?" She asks, glancing at her sopping wet, cross friend with an air of utter confusion, as if it never occurred to her that she might have to submerge her perfectly done hair into the water, since she'd made her poor friend go to all the trouble of dunking his head in.
The response from Rome was an avid, enthusiastic nod, and another stern point. Sakura sighed wistfully. She didn't want to ruin her hair, but she knew what Rome was like when he got this way-- totally unreasonable. There was no sense in negotiating, because he was no longer listening. She grumbled some words that Rome couldn't quite make out, though he was confident they weren't very nice-- as she walked over to the apple bobbing station.
She took a deep inhale and puffed up her cheeks to hold her breath, and right as she conquered her fear of making the plunge and was going to do it-- there was a tap on her shoulder. She paused and looked up only to see Rome there, holding one of her scrunchies.
Sakura blinked once or twice.
"For me?" She asked, honestly stunned by this kind gesture.
Rome nodded and handed it over to her, gently placing it in one of her paws.
Sakura took it gratefully and slung her hair up into a messy bun. Now she was ready for anything!
She dunked her head into the apple bobbing tub, intent on one-upping Rome by finding a bigger apple than he was able to grab!

The pot itself was at least large enough that she could make an attempt, but... how would they do that without just gulping down the entire thing? After a moment though, they smiled, an idea dawning. They gathered more ice along their mask, and along their lower jaw too, eventually winding up with a long, thin beak they could dip in to the cauldron, delicately attempting to pick up one apple.

Lamby gave a deep breath as she approached the apple bobbing pool for the first time. She looked down into the green tinted water and watched the apples slowly bob.
She placed down her lambie plush, as well as her sparkly masquerade mask and tiara before readying herself. This was a huge deal for her it seemed. But i guess for the first time she wanted to try to get something good.

Lamby plunged her head in the water, some of the water spilling out the sides from the force of plunging her head in. Theres a few gurgling sounds and gags, but from the happy wag of her tail she was fine. She pulled her head out roughly like something was fighting back and took a gasp of fresh air between whatever she held in her mouth.

I never realized how delicious apples actually are! But now that I’ve had a taste, it’s impossible not to come back. I swear that the apples here are better than anywhere else.”

Moondancer laughed at Aronia’s enthusiasm for something as silly as apples but followed her into the booth anyways, deciding to join her and get a taste for herself.
