(50 word min): when he first came to the clan, he was found dragging a baby blue blanket behind him that had several pumpkins inside of it. when the clan cats tried to get him to let go of the blanket and the pumpkins, he vehemently refused, stating that they were the most important possession that he owned and he had brought them with him for a reason. he was determined to spread the news of the great pumpkin to his new home, even before he had stumbled across the clan. he would spread the news of the great pumpkin through the clan through storytelling, but by using his pumpkins as props for his stories. welcome! you've made it just in time for the party, we're so glad you and your clans could make it. please, make yourselves at home. actually, let me introduce you to some of the other guests, they're all so excited to meet you. they've heard so much about the clans, and they all have so many questions to ask. don't worry, their costumes aren't too scary. who knows, if they hear about your clan, they might just ask to tag along with you! ah, here they are. feel free to mingle, and please don't forget to have a happy halloween!

in order to have a chance to win one of the following cats, please read the following guidelines closely, as this event will be run slightly different from other events:
1. this event is a short collaborative writing competition. you will need to find a partner for this event, and you will each need to fill out a form to be eligible. you and your partner must be a member of cac, with a clan that has been founded, and you must have posted within the past month. partners can be found through the cac fanclub, discord server, or through pms.
2. each cat comes with a paired cat (the king and knight, the bee and butterfly, the pirate and the sailor), and they will be awarded to winners as such. each cat has their own form, and you and your partner will have to decide how you wish to split the pair between your clans. you will fill out the form for the cat you wish to take to your clan, and your partner will fill out their respective form for the corresponding partner cat. you and your partner must apply for the cat pairs (ie. you and your partner must try out for the butterfly with the bee). the paired cats cannot be split up.
3. you may try out for as many of the groups as you wish, and you may have different partners for different entries, but you can only try out for one cat within a paired group. (ie. you can tryout for the sailor and the butterfly, but not the sailor and the pirate). you can only win one cat from the costume party event.
4. the minimum word count is 150 words, but there is no maximum.
5. all cats must be listed as warrior-age.
6. please post your form on a separate thread and send the link directly to me (eagle,) through pms or dms on discord.
7. the end-date for this event is november 1st at 11:59pm est. results will be posted within a few days after the event's close.

how does this cat spread the word of the great pumpkin to your clan? (50 word min): Start off by telling the story of the great pumpkin to the leader. Then persuade them to call a clan meeting so that they may explain it to the rest of the clan. That is step one step two is taking the clan to the pumpkin patch so they get more of an understanding. Then began plotting to capture the Great Pumpkin of course.

LINUS VAN PELT AND THE GREAT PUMPKIN(S)

This cat was once a kittypet, their former owner being a huge Peanuts fan. They love Leaf-fall: the weather, the beautiful red-orange-yellows of changing leaves, and most of all, the Great Pumpkin. Many older cats tease them for believing in "that fairytale," but they brush it off and take the mockery in stride. Kits and other apprentices flock to this cat during Leaf-fall, eager to listen to their tales of the Great Pumpkin. Whether or not he really exists, no cat really knows, but one thing is for certain: this cat sure can tell a good story! During Leaf-fall, this cat increases your chances of encountering a kit while on patrols.

what is the clan's first reactions after finding this lost kitty? (100 word min): Angelstar had never seen a cat as colorful as Enigma, but they didn't want to make the stranger uncomfortable and told Enigma he was welcome to join the Clan if he wanted to. Tigerstrike on the other hand, lacked his leader's tact and asked why Enigma looked like that. Thankfully, he took no offense and told the story of how he'd been hit by a monster and left for dead, and how the cutter patched him back up with other cats' parts. Spookythorn took little interest in the newcomer's odd appearance, and was simply happy to have another cat interested in joining the Clan to help with hunting and patrols. Ashglow said nothing to Enigma's face, but behind his back she spread rumors that he was haunted by the souls of the dead cats his body was made of. Liontuft, Squirrelcall, Bloomwhisker, and Featherpaw were polite to Enigma, but when he wasn't around they talked in hushed tones about how awful it was that the cutter took his fertility away. All in all, the Clan was quite kind to Enigma, and he decided to join with the name Enigmapelt.
