Hickory'Hill finally woke up, having stayed in the back of the elders den. She pondered standing up. She felt like sleeping some more, but alas, time had already been wasted. She rolled to her paws, before stretching with a yawn. She padded out silently, an ear flicking. She then spotted the three of them telling a story and yawned again. `` So you were the ones who woke me up. Who's the youngin? She sat down, her thin tail curling around her pale paws.

Snowfall's lips turned up in a wide smile as he watched his apprentice sort through their herbs, his fluffy tail swaying with content as he glanced down at the comfrey root she'd set at his paws "Dizzypaw, you're brilliant. Very well done." The stark-white tom took a moment to lay a paw over the younger she-cat's head, giving it a soft rub, to prevent her from losing her balance. He couldn't help but be proud of his apprentice. Even in a moment where his mind was clouded and blank, this young medicine cat was able to come up with a quick solution. She was learning fast, almost too fast. The medicine cat was almost worried that she would grow bored with his training as the moons passed, eventually deciding she wanted to branch off on her own rather than continue being his pupil. Snowfall shook the thought away, a scoff-like chuckle escaping his jaws as he dispelled the mouse-brained thought. He thought of his apprentice like his own kin, a daughter even, and he was almost certain she felt the same way toward him. He knew she'd be eager to learn everything he had to offer, until it was time for her to become the medicine cat of their clan. The handsome tom removed his paw from her skull and turned back to Ravenfeather, the comfrey root already between his teeth as he chewed it into a pulp "This should help with that itching, and possibly even an infection if that's the problem. Thistle is great for external wounds, but I was a mouse-brain for trying to use it in such a sensitive area, let's give Dizzypaw's solution a try." Snowfall knew the herb wouldn't magically heal the young warrior, but once again, he was more focused on temporarily easing her pain than he was completely healing it.. especially since it had been untreatable up until this point.

Snowfall's ears perked up as his apprentice spoke up, his ears flattening in a sort of embarrassed and disappointed way. He had completely forgotten to make sure his apprentice got something to eat when they woke up, instead moving straight to their work for the day. The white tom gave his apprentice a sort of affectionate nudge before giving her a curt nod "Of course, I'm sorry I didn't grab you something myself Dizzypaw." The older tom ushered his apprentice out of the den, his piercing gaze focusing on a pair in the distance, a familiar name being heard from their lips. He watched as the warrior scolded the apprentice by the entrance of the camp, an amused chuckle rising in his throat as he heard the anger in the tom's voice. He sat quiet for another moment before calling out to the two "Rookfang, Minnowpaw, come over here will ya?"

Willowberry let out a sort of relieved sigh as the older tom agreed to let his apprentice follow along. She felt bad for being somewhat pushy, but she didn't want the apprentice to be left alone in camp, and she didn't want her own apprentice to be the only one on the patrol. The pretty feline shot Adderpaw a kind smile and let out a soft purr "See? he'll do great." The young warrior turned her head away from the trio of cats to focus on the leader of their patrol, the corners of her maw curled up in a kind smile "shall we get a move on Cloudfall? I'm sorry if we kept you waiting."

Zephyr let out a soft chuckle as his trainee continued on, he was definitely a curious one, but the old soldier didn't mind it. He enjoyed having an inquisitive trainee, it made him feel as though he actually had a purpose, and wasn't just teaching empty words. The solider gave his shoulders a quick shrug as he attempted to answer the young tom's question "Well, the borders are set in place so we don't steal each others territory. Those borders were set up long before you and I were here, and the leaders of our two groups have decided to keep them as they were.. that is, until we needed the river for ourselves. The clan cats did use it, but they also have a lake on the opposite side of us, so they didn't need the river." The grey tom nodded as his trainee followed his command, his own ears perking up to take in all the sounds around him "good, now I want you to focus on one of those sounds, and catch me some prey. Go on now." The old tom's voice was stern but kind, he knew his trainee wanted to continue asking all kinds of questions, but he also knew all the prey would be scared off if the young tom continued.

Salem shot a scolding gaze at her apprentice, noticing the disdain on his face as she offered to assist the two healers. She shot Freya a knowing smile as she replied, her head nodding in reply “I understand completely. You’re best suited in camp if anything happens. I’d love to take Roe with us, she’s the best of us when it comes to herb knowledge. We couldn’t do it without her.” The pretty she-cat smiled down at the younger fae, her tail flicking in delight at the thought of herb hunting with the healer’s trainee. Salem shot another quick glance at her own trainee, as if to tell him to behave while they were out of camp. With a quick flick of her tail, the soldier began to set off, her head turned to look over her shoulder as she watched for the two younger felines behind her “let’s get a move on you two.“

The black tom made his way into camp, multiple pieces of prey hanging from his jaws.
His chest heaved due to the hunting trip he had been on, but he didn't even look tired,
pure joy on his face at the success of a good hunt. He dropped off his catch before making
his way to an edge of camp, sitting down and starting to groom the blood off his paws and
maw.

He flicked his ears giving him a long stare, like trying to read him mind or something, not seeing annoyance in him, but there was something which told him that he better not question him anymore and do what he wanted him to do. He gave a small sight "fine.." he meowed silently then sniffed the upcoming wind to make sure where was all they prey at the moment, was there anything nice close by or what it was. He made one last quick look to his mentor, then without much words raced away, making sure he was not too noisy on his steps to scare the prey away.

The queens eyes followed Harpy as they rushed into camp, the apprentice had been in quite the hurry which made her believe something has happened could RainClan already be attempting to claim the river back? She thought and turned her head back towards Lilith "Come on, lets go" She spoke and continued to head towards the river, her pace was noticeably quicker than it once was.
As the two got closer to the river, the unmistakable scent of blood filled her nose along with the scent of fox "Well, that must be why Harpy was in such the rush" She spoke to Lilith before turning her head to look at her "Looks like we wont be going fishing after all" She turned her head away as a wave of curiousity overtook her I wonder who got hurt..hopefully none of our own cats She started to follow the scent of blood without checking if Lilith was still following.

They stayed still for a couple of moments but they couldn't easily go back to sleep and a sigh escaped their mouth "Fineee" They finally spoke and stood up from their nest. They quickly groomed themselves, knowing that if they looked like a mess they'd eventually get an earful from Tigress. They glanced towards Moths nest and their eyes widened slightly Huh, never thought he'd leave without me they thought, their brother always wanted to stay by their side.

The apprentice caught sight of the mouse and a deep breath escaped him Just remember what you've learned..you'll be fine he thought in an attempt to calm himself down. He crouched down close to the forest floor and his tail lowered behind him and he started to approach his target. He kept his pawsteps as light as possible, he knew if they were too heavy then it could alert the mouse of his presence. Once he believed he was close enough, he began to bunch up his muscles to get ready to pounce. After a few moments of watching the mouse nibble on some kind of seed, Moth leapt into the air and landed right on top of the mouse before nipping its neck.
He let go once he realized the mouse had stopped moving "I did it..?" He said in disbelief and then a smile spread onto his face "I did it!" He repeated excitedly before he remembered his mentor was still watching him. He blushed in embarrassment Well at least I didn't do that in front of mother he thought and the smile lessened into a shy one.

"hm?" She hummed when WillowBerry mentioned her name as the senior warrior had gotten lost in her thoughts before being dragged back into reality "Oh! yes, we should probably be on our way" She finally responded Why do I feel like i'm forgetting something she thought to herself and she scanned the clearing until her eyes landed on her apprentice, BadgerPaw.
"How did I almost forgot my own apprentice?" She muttered to herself but it was loud enough for the other cats in the group to hear Guess that's one thing I can blame old age for she shook her head "BadgerPaw!" She called to her apprentice before adding "Come along, we're going on border patrol" She didn't bother to wait for her apprentices response as she felt they'd already been standing around for too long "Now, we can go" She spoke to the rest of the patrol and walked towards the camp exit.
It didn't take long for the patrol to reach the edge of RainClan territory but it was quite obvious CloudFall was trying to save the border they shared with the rogue group for last I just don't want to deal with those rogues she thought and began to remark the border.

They paused at RookFangs threat and groaned in annoyance, MinnowPaw opened their mouth to shoot back at the warrior "Well I-" they were soon cut off by the voice of SnowFall calling them over. They huffed and shut their mouth before glaring at RookFang You're lucky SnowFall decided to intervene They thought but didn't dare to say it allowed, in the back of their mind they knew RookFang was right but they wouldn't dare to admit that. They shook their head and forced their fur to lie flat, they hadn't realized how annoyed they had been getting until their focus was torn away from the warrior.
They didn't bother to say anything else to RookFang before padding over to the medicine cat "Is there something you need SnowFall?" They questioned in an innocent tone as if the argument with a warrior hadn't happened a couple moments prior.
