A large sliver and black ear gave an annoyed flick as it picked up loud noises, the great tom being roused from his slumber by a particularly loud meow coming from outside the den. Icy blue eyes flicked open, the tom donning what was a displeased look at first, but it soon morphed into shock when he realized how late it was. It was rare for Silvertail to sleep in so late, and based on the hustle and bustle of camp, he must have been sleeping heavily to have not been awoken sooner. He was almost annoyed that no one or his apprentice had woken him up, but it was his fault, after all. He had been out late last night, prowling along the border as if waiting for any of the scented rogues to venture across. Since he was up late, he missed his morning, the giant of a tom shaking out his ruffled pelt before squeezing out of the den. As he was greeted with the sight of his clanmates, the annoyance quickly left him, the tabby feeling at home among his kin and friends. He blocked out most of the chatter, but managed to pick up the muttering of Frostbreeze, instantly giving the other tom a pointed look. "Watch your mouth, Frostbreeze," he chastised him, wondering what had gotten him like that, "You act like they're a bad thing for the clan." That was meant to be more of a passing scold, as Silvertail was heading for a specific place, but it turns out Frostbreeze was on the same track as him. He could tell that Robinpaw was still in the den, calling for his apprentice as he stood by the mottled tom. A rustle came from within, but instead of his apprentice, Thistlepaw made his way out instead, seemingly focused on something. Silvertail gave him a friendly nod, but he couldn't tell whether the other had caught it. Either way, he'd see him again soon.

Adderpaw lay in his nest, his paws tucked underneath him as he observed the other apprentices with half-closed eyes. Usually, he'd be bouncing around and getting in the middle of their interactions, but for just this morning, he just wanted to rest as much as he could before it was time for training. The fight from yesterday had come to him as a major shock, the young apprentice having not seen it coming. None of them really did, for a fact. He looked briefly to the right, gazing at a pair of empty nets with what was almost a longing gaze. If times had been better, his siblings would have been stretching or maybe snoring alongside him, but the earth apparently needed them more he did. It had been painful at first, losing them, that is, but Adderpaw had learned to move own, but he seemed more conscious of his actions and their consequences, now. He was trying to clean up his acts, but Adderpaw was still mischievous and energetic as ever, something that he would probably outgrow naturally. Once the other apprentices started leaving, Adderpaw decided to take his leave as well, stretching on his belly before climbing out of his nest and scooting out of the den. He surveyed the camp briefly before locking eyes on his mentor. His stomach grumbled in a demand to be fed, but the young apprentice wanted to see if there was anything planned first. He expected that things would be busier than usual after the attack. He loped up to his mentor, unintentionally coming between him and his mother. "Hey, Whitemist! What are we doing today?" He disregarded the more reserved front of the tom, butting his shoulder slightly without seeming disrespectful. Remembering that Snowfall was there, along with others, he dipped his head, brown eyes gleaming. Adderpaw had a lot of respect for Snowfall as an older warrior, but her being the mother of his mentor seemed to amplify it.
