For example, if I made a lesser/low rank wolf, would I be able to challenge a higher rank wolf in a fair fight (if planned ahead, unless both parties want it to be random) and whoever won the fight would get the rank, and whoever lost got the lower rank. If that makes sense?

It does,but I think we should refrain from doing that right away. But it does seem interesting!
