Yes, yes the cat butler was going to actually listen to Fal, why wouldn't he, he was afraid of the vampire butler. He did not know the exact reason that he was afraid of him but subconsciously, anytime he was glared at or looked at a certian way, his flight or fight reaction would kick in and it was all he could do to not run away like a scaredy cat. Not to mention the boy was too tired to argue.
So there he was, finally finding the broom closet, and collected a mop and bucket.

Upon fetching water, the boy carried it back to the stairs and started to collect the water he had dripped upon the floor and mop away and water stains that they may have left. It would not take very long, before he would clean out the mop and empty the bucket. The whole time his mind growing more foggy and his eyes drooping. He returned to the closet to put the mop and bucket away, another yawn coming out as he knelt to put the bucket back onto the shelf, he slumped forward his head landing n the shelf as the tired boys eyes fluttered closed.
Corvanta Stellant| CoCo or Corva|13|Bearfolk|Position:Guest|Tags: Jesica
A small twitch came to the boy's nose at the new smell that permeated the air as she made herself some tea, it was a different scent then he was used to, considering many of the smells he was used to had more of a sweet scent to them. Although he would not ask what shewas drinking, for maybe that would be a little rude, his thoughts on this new smell only interrupted by her response which made him frown slightly."But me and Shelly are here to take care of CoCo!" The fox puppet reassured the maid. Yes the boy was blushing behind his puppets as she called him sweet for his compliment and gave her own to him. Squirming slightly as he thought about what to do, he was not a conversation leader so he did the only thing he could think of ,"Miss Jesica! DO you know any magic?" he made FiFi squeak out to the woman, with a small amount of hope that she did know magic.

Jesica Gabriella Demonessia // Jess // 25 // Female // Fire-Demon // Maid // Tags- CoCo~

Jesica sipped her tea quietly as she relaxed. Since previously she was stressing, she had relaxed more and more.

Maybe she could try not to panic 24/7.. It was nice.

Jesica then looked up as FiFI has reassured her, Jesica nodded her head. "Ah- right... I am aware.. But yet, I would still like to take care of every child I can, if you would let me that is. I guess I just don't want to see a child get hurt" Jesica hummed softly.

Jesica had always taken care of her sisters, since she didn't have them here, she didn't know what to do with her time. Maybe thats why her whole schedule was out of wack.. Perhaps if she had somebody or something to take care of, she'd at least get her act together..

Jesica hummed softly as he asked if she knew "magic". Jesica tilted her head slightly, "I myself don't know magic per say.." Her eyes glowed a light purple for a moment, "But I do have powers if you wish to see?"

Francesca Mary Demonessia // Fran // 20 // Female // Siren-Demon // Homeless // Tags- Mary~

Francesca smiled gladly as Mary said that "Nightshade" was alright, it was a nice name. "Thats good, at least he's alright"

Francesca frowned slightly, thinking for a moment before speaking. How in the world does she explain mental age to a child- "Ara.. hmm.. Izzy's mind is a bit.. Different then most. She's 15 at the moment.. But she has the mental age of around 9 or 10.. She just acts younger than most and you'll need to treat her like a child. She has the mind of one after all." Francesca smiled, hoping that stupid explanation was alright..

Francesca's eyes turned blue for a moment as she smiled, shaking her head. "Sorta kiddo. My kingdom used to have a queen, my mother, but sadly she passed. I'm not technically a queen, maybe sorta like a Princess, but don't have the title of one... My sister who I told you about was a Queen though!" Now Francesca was getting excited, she hadn't spoken about her kingdom in a while, she was proud of it. Francesca then tilted her head as he explained about his father teaching him about mythicals. "Ahh I see.." Francesca stifled a laugh as Mary said that his father calls them cowards.

Francesca smiled, "You seem interested haha.. The Siren Kingdom is my kingdom in the Demon World, but there are other kingdoms, Jess, my sister, used to be the queen of the Abyssal Ruins, theres also the Mist Kingdom, which is like.. Shadows and stuff.. Theres the fire kingdom..Shapeshift kingdom.. OH there are also tribes for Beelzebubs!" One of Francescas tails had appeared and started wagging happily, it was fun to talk about her home world.

Francesca's tail then wrapped around her stomach, "Ahh but still.. You're still a kid.." She muttered as she sighed, "Hehe.. Demons all look different hun.. I myself have three forms-" She then shook her head as she slapped herself on the leg with her tail to shut herself up. Now wasn't the time.

Francesca giggled. "You're sweet kiddo.. Really you are." She still shook her head, not going to believe it sooner or later. But if Mary wanted to believe it, he could believe anything he wanted. Francesca nodded as he said demon, almost to confirm. "Hmm.. Demon disguised as a human". Francesca hummed softly as Mary thought about her offer, she giggled, nodding. "Sure! I'll be alright with that, after all, I would need to get your dads permission, but it is your decision hehe" she giggled softly.

Francesca hummed softly as she thought for a moment. Oh jeez did she know card games- Well.. Theres only one she knew that passed from the Demon World into the Human World..
"hmm.. Do you know about War? The card game? How about that?" She tilted her head slightly

Arsene LeMarc - Prince of Demons - Head Butler | Location: Larkin's Study - Tagged: Hopeless Gay, Gremlin

LeMarc is dejected when Larkin makes it clear he will not save his butler from riddle time, his shoulders visibly drooping in defeat. It's not that he hates riddles, but they certainly do not seem like a good use of his time, especially since a guest was arriving to the manor this morning. Who knows what sort of mischief could be accomplished while he is trapped in this office, forced to follow the whims of a tiny, flying mammal. His mind can only imagine horrible acts that are currently being committed at this moment, perhaps a maid slacking off or one of the stable hands losing a horse on the grounds. Or maybe a human intruder will sneak in from the woods. Or, even worse, maybe someone would mess with his extremely practical décor! There's nothing he can do, though; Larkin wanted them to solve a riddle together, so that is what LeMarc would do. Sighing inwardly, he lets the bat's riddle be said, side eyeing Larkin to gage his reaction.

The pause after the riddle is said is audible. LeMarc would like to say he is thinking very hard about the answer, but if he was being honest he already knew what it was as soon as the first line was read. It's not a difficult riddle, really, the whole thing about empty holes makes it rather obvious to him, but moreso he has heard it before. If you asked him he would deny ever taking part in reading for 'fun', the very idea of spending time on a recreational activity something he sees as distasteful, but he was once a child, a lonely child with a poor, single mother, and library books used to be one of the few ways he could entertain himself. So of course he's heard the riddle before.

He's confused, though, is he supposed to get the answer right away or pretend he doesn't know it? LeMarc could never understand the satisfaction the flying gremlin presumably finds in giving out riddles. If his goal here was to make Larkin happy by making the bat happy...Is he supposed to know it right away? It's a conundrum.

LeMarc gives up on figuring it out for himself and looks at Larkin, leaning closer to his master's ear and speaking as quietly as he can. "Are we supposed to know the answer already or...I do know it but...I don't understand...Should I say it? Or...I cannot quite parse this situation, sir."

Oleander - A Nice Plant - Gardener | Location: Garden - Tagged: Harvey

Despite being suitably unhappy that, once again, his offer to spend time with another was being rejected, the emotion does not show on Oleander's face, simply drops from his awkward smile into his typical solemn, empty look. He is too used to being turned down to let it show. The eye on his hand droops slightly in remorse, though, blinking sadly at Harvey, before it blinks away, disappearing into his skin. "Of course, Mr. Lavigne. Apologies for taking up your time. Do have a good day." Oleander nods to the groundskeeper, holding up a hand as a brief wave goodbye before he turns and walks away, basket in hand.

Might as well be a good thing, he supposes. He doesn't know what mothkind eat. Well, he knows what moths eat...Which is mostly nothing, so maybe it would not have been a good breakfast for the groundkeeper regardless. Moths, as an insect, tend not to have mouths in their adult forms. But their larvae eat things like nectar and leaves...Harvey is not a larvae, though...He thinks? Oleander has never questioned just what exactly a mothkind is. He doesn't question most of the mythical beings that live in this manor. It's not really his place to know the ins and outs of their species.

He's just here to take care of his plants.

Emilia Stein - Disgraced Celebrity - Guest | Location: Kitchen - Tagged: Oscar

Mimi? Really? That's what he's going for? Emilia looks no so much annoyed by the nickname as she is affronted by the concept of anyone ever attempting to call her a name. It's unwonted, and sits weird in her thoughts. At the very least it's not something like 'Emmy' which would probably lead to a swift punch to the face of whoever dared to call her something so puerile. Not that Mimi is really any better, but it could be worse.

As it is, the disgraced actress/model takes her time trudging after the burglar, her arms firmly crossed and her gaze glaringly uncaring, begrudgingly accepting her circumstances. She's certain that if she tries to just walk away form him, which very much wants to do, he'll do something stupid like grab her arm and drag her with him. Emilia does not grant any commentary, absolutely not paying attention as the guy starts rambling about rocket fuel of all things? She doesn't know anything about thermodynamics anyways, so what is she going to say? Although she's pretty sure that it really has nothing to do with acting. Speaking of which, did he just say 'in-character'? Was this weirdo playing a role right now? Who would pretend to be a robber, that's ridiculous!

Actually, now that she thinks about it, there's something about this man that doesn't add up, like an actor constantly falling out of character. Certainly, a seasoned actress like herself was capable of recognizing when a person's actions are unnatural. Not in the sense that they are supernatural, but in the sense that they are falsely presented. Like an amateur actor, this man was not lining his actions with his character. Everything about this man screams unnatural to Emilia, not because he's too good a robber, but because he's a bad one. He's following along with the lines perfectly, but his actions don't add up; pulling a gun on her and saying 'this is a robbery' then immediately making her coffee and smoking a cigarette, asking her to follow to find someone important to the staff, and then...Cleaning the hallway? There's eccentric and then there's...Whatever this is. Perhaps what she had assumed to be an incompetent robber was actually a very bad actor? That certainly made her a lot less intimidated by him.

She says nothing, of course, just observes the man breaking into one of the many locked rooms in the manor as he prattles on about what she can only assume is seducing the head butler, which she can't help but snort at the idea of. Like that rude thing would ever look at anyone other than The Larkin Stoker... The lock clicks as the pick sets in the pins in place, and Emilia would warn him about the possible contents, but she really doesn't care if he opens a door and has a pile of bones cascade on top of him, or whatever weird things the Stoker's keep hidden. For all she knows, there's some crazy vampire locked up in one of these rooms or something, this place was creepy. She takes a step back, just in case. And then the door swings open and she gawks. "What the..."

Emilia strides past the burglar into this ridiculously out of style room, looking in disgust at the many lava lamps. "You certain this room wasn't made for you, rocket man? It has your whole...'Aesthetic.'" She makes a point of using air quotes just to get across how loosely she is using the term. The sarcasm is palpable. "Aw look, they even have a carpet that matches your hair." Emilia kicks at the shag carpet, looking over her shoulder to pout at him mockingly before wandering to examine the records. She spins the first one off the top of the pile, quirking an eyebrow at the cover. "Someone in this joint's a huge Baccara fan, apparently? And..." she looks at the next record, "Marvin Gaye?" Okay, now she's curious, not even bothering to stifle a cackle. Her tone is sardonic, but her eyes glimmer just a little, like a smidgen of joy has found its way to her.

xxxx"𝓘 see. No, this is just my storage area, my house is over there. It's still not much, but it's got all I need." Rose gestured to her right. On the other end of the pasture stood the small, one bedroom cottage-esque home. Clearly a bit older, but well maintained.
xxxxThe woman cocked her head curiously at Everest. She seemed terrified of Knight. That was a good advantage to have. Just in case. She took mental notes. If only people knew how much Rose kept on them...

"Well, if you're hungry, and you don't mean any harm, I wouldn't mind to fetch you something. I still have to wait a bit for shops to get fully opened before I run into town, so it's no bother. But, and I'll only say this once," Rose paused, her tone becoming clearer and sharpened, "if you bring me or Knight any harm, Knight will make sure you never do anyone any harm again." Something still didn't feel right, and she wasn't taking any chances.
xxxxShe shakes the thought. This animal clearly wasn't stupid, quite the opposite. Almost like a switch being flipped, Rose relaxes, a warm smile spread across her face. "Now, what do you say? I have some meat that I need gone, and I can cook it if you prefer."

xxxx𝓚night took a few steps back, confused by Everest's reaction. He was only just trying to be friendly.. Maybe she's just scared. Knight understood the feeling. Before Rose, everything was scary, he had never learned not to be afraid. The horse picked his head up, flicking his ears to pick up on any sounds he may had missed while attempting to befriend the wolf. Nothing. Just the soft breeze of cool air rustling through trees. Knight shifted his attention to Rose, noticing her body language change. Closed off and skeptical, to bold and threatening, back to mostly closed off. She only did that when was saying something that needed to be listened to. He'd been on the receiving end of that when he'd tried to bite Rose's brother that one time..

Jesica was not the only one starting to relax, The more COCo sipped on his favorite drink, the more at ease he felt. It was obvious the maid did not wish to hurt him or force him to talk without the use of his puppets, which put him slightly at ease. Of course the act of talking even through his puppets made his heart beat faster, but Jesica seemed nice enough. Putting Mister SHellos back on, the bean talked to his puppets in a tiny voice. "She is really nice, and Mister Lark said people where here to help" "Indeed she is rather helpful and does not seem to hold ill intent""And CoCo thinks she is pretttty, and she says she has magic powers!" CoCO blushed as he hid behind his puppets as he turned them back towards Jessica. "That sounds delightful Miss Jesica, CoCo would very much enjoy if he could come to you when he needs help, that is if you do not mind." The respectful turtle said , only to be interrupted by a Wild Fox puppet,"MAGIC SHOW!!!" That was a yes to seeing her powers of course. The boy just really liked magic.

she glanced up at the horse before looking back at rose as she explained her current situation with her house...and storage. she hardly even knew the difference between the two buildings...the house could be a much bigger storage for...for whatever she stored in there. she would be genuinely surprised to find out that it was something dark and mysterious. but it could be something boring and wouldn't be much use to her.

she looked over at the cottage-like building, staring at it for a good minute, heavily judging it once again. "I'm surprised it's still standing...I haven't seen a building like that in years," the she-wolf turned her head back at rose, "do you know what year it was build in?...because i know that you have better taste than that." hey, it was a bit rude, but the truth hurts, doesn't it?

but hey, look at her having a...somewhat...normal conversation with her fiend- er...friend. Why was this? Maybe the offer of something to eat was the cause of her change of tune...for now. but from now on, it was time to play along as good little puppy...and figure out a plan to pull the wool over both of their eyes. she absolutely hated planning, but she kinda didn't know what she was dealing with. she knew she was dealing with a horse and a human. who knows? maybe in the meantime she could open up a little to rose, get her to trust the wolf.

she didn't say that it would work- but it was a bit of a possibility.

And there was also the possibility of a price- or a deal in this case...however, the deal was more of a threat. rose's body language said it all if the threat didn't come clear to her the first time. she was very familiar with.

It didn't take too long for her to respond to rose's threat, "alright miss rose, you have yourself a little deal- i will not bring harm to you or your guard..." she paused and looked up at the horse. was she really going to call this thing a dog? "...dog." everest sat down, turning her attention back to rose, straightening up her back to appear taller. what? sure, she was a murderous creature of the night (and day), but at least she remembered to keep good posture so she didn't end up with back problems. (yet she still had them. she's fine. she will live).

when the topic of food presented itself again, she turned her head a little, thinking on what she could possibly want. although cooked food seemed ideal- but she was sure that rose wanted to return to her knight as soon as she left. she couldn't blame her. who would even leave their steed alone with a horse?

"i will be fine with either or, i'm not much a picky eater like i was before," she wasn't very picky actually, she just didn't want to eat whatever was offered to her. one time one of the kids offered her some kind of pudding that had meat chunks in it. someone was repulsed by it as so was she. it was horrendous. "...but whatever is easier and quicker for you."

being nice was absolutely killing her. she wondered how long she could pull off this façade. but as for now, she knew that the horse had to go down first. the thing to figure out was how to bring the horse down all by herself...

only time will tell.

fal sighed in relief as the kid was going to do what he was told- which was a good thing, right? well, he wasn't going to chase him down to make sure that he does his job. no- he has other things to do. maybe he should go find lemarc and ask what nicho was scheduled to do today...actually, no, scratch that. he'd rather not talk to him at the moment- not with this migraine. he moved his head up to his forehead and walked all the way back to his room. was he going to rest?

he wished.

instead, he entered his room, looking around for a brief moment. it took him a moment to remember that he had allowed mary to go out in town- if he wished. and apparently he did leave. that would explain on why nightshade was missing from his post. (an empty (but clean) tea cup that fal didn't want to touch- as the queen had claimed it as his own. for a resting place for his second-in-command).

facilier looked around once again, drawing a blank. what was he doing in here again? he walked further into his room and stood near his desk, flipping through the papers that crowded his desk. he paused. no- nothing that he wanted wasn't in the stack of papers. he looked around and decided to open the first drawer of three, pawing through the organized mess until he found what he was looking for: painkillers. now why did he have them there? well because he doubted that the manor had any around. besides, he didn't want anyone to question him. he replaced the bottle back into the mess and searched the drawers for anything to wash them down. ah- nope. where did he put them?

he walked over towards his nightstand and decided to dig through there. hopefully mary didn't get ahold- aha! there they are. he grabbed a couple of blood tablets before shutting the drawer and walking out of his room. now time to get some water. but the kitchen was too far away- and there was no way he was using mop water...I mean- cat fur, really? so facilier decided to walk to the kitchen, grab a cup, fill it with water, ignore the fools in the kitchen (he didn't even question why there was a giant in the kitchen in the first place) before heading on out of the kitchen and back towards his room. he was uncomfortable using the blood tablets around others. why? he couldn't explain well enough on why he felt that way.

he shook his head and plopped the tablets into the water, watching them dissolve. how disappointing. he knew who else would be disappointed in him for using these things- but what will they do? come back from the dead and chastise him about it?...yeah, I thought so. Facilier dipped back into his room as he took the painkillers and washed them down with whatever this poor excuse of substituted blood was...it was almost like a diet. fake blood is better than human or other creature blood...but oh well, its better than nothing. besides, does it look like he has the time to go out and hunt? no.

fal would stay in his room until the migraine had subsided some before going out of his way to wash the cup and bring it back to the kitchen- along with a few dishes that he found. he washed them, before walking back out and onto the upstairs to start cleaning windows again.

he looked up when the game War was mentioned- or well, offered up on the table of what to play. when she ad asked if he knew, he couldn't help but grin, "of course i know war! it's one of my favorite card games!" mary then started to shuffle the cards- the way that his papa had taught him. his former way of shuffling the cards caused the corners to crease and sometimes the cards would even fall out of his hands.

besides, he also loved the sound.

maybe he should warn fran about the missing kings..nah, they'll be fine. it was common for cards to be missing from the deck, correct?

he looked up at her when she then started to explain the whole mental-age thing that he asked about. it made a little more sense now that he had asked for it to be explained to him...but he wasn't very satisfied by the answer that he got from her. maybe he'll ask his papa when he goes back to the manor. but since he didn't want to be rude, he nodded and thanked her for explaining it to him.

mary continued to shuffle the deck, glancing up at the demon when she told her story about the current queen situation. the news of fran's mother passing away upset him a little, even nightshade felt a little pity towards her. "oh i see, but it's neat that your sister is a queen and that you are a princess- it must be fun." even if she didn't hold the title or not, she was still on . or a countess or a duchess- or whatever the nobility status that they had down there.

he looked up when she talked about the different kingdoms. were they like his queendom- or much different? the answer was obvious but he didn't question it. instead, he gave a curt nod to acknowledge the conversation about the different kingdoms in the demon realm. he turned his head down to looked at the cards to count them. maybe he should ask fran to bring him to one of the kingdoms so he could see what it was like...or just...ask her about it. that could work too.

when he looked back up again, he jumped a little when he saw one of fran's tails. why was he surprised to see it again?

well, he wasn't used to it, that was all.

mary shook his head and tilted it to the side a little, "well, i know that now. plus i don't think papa has told me before- i don't know." he then looked back at the deck of cards, still shuffling them, pausing soon afterwards when he learned that fran had another form that she didn't mention. but instead of asking now, he'll ask a little later.

shuffling the cards once again, mary leaned back before dealing them out between the two of them, a small frown visible on his face as he did so. he was concentrating to make sure that they got an even amount of cards. "by the way, there's no kings," he mumbled. there. he mentioned it. besides, would the kings be even useful to him? probably not. "maybe we can try asking my papa tonight...he is busy with work all day, but at night he always finds time with me." he shrugged a little and smiled, "and since it's at night, then it would be easier for the both of us."

after he finished with what he was saying, he dealt the last two cards, one for the each of them. he picked up the cards and straightened the stack before finally placing them back on the ground- face-down like they were supposed to be. he looked at fran and smiled, "do you want to start?"

she kept her gaze on lemarc, waiting for a reaction or a reply of some sort. but when she got none, she just simply looked down at the floor, her ears pinned back, a little disappointed- even though he didn't say anything, the disapproval was pretty clear. (or disappointment. one of those two. she wasn't the best at reading emotions- okay?). however, she perked up just a bit when lark said that they had the time to solve a riddle. what a good boy- maybe she could treat him with one of his stolen borrowed pens after this. stellaluna looked up at lemarc and then back at lark when given the a-ok to share a riddle.

right.

maybe she should've taken the time to think up a riddle rather than just staring at the reoccurring guest. but, she didn't have to think for too long as she shifted around, making sure that she could open the little watch's door with ease after they had solved her riddle. she had figured how the watch worked- almost. you would assume that fifty-seven riddles in, she would know how it would work? maybe you had forgotten about her fantastic memory.

stellaluna looked up at the two. what was now this feeling? it was almost like stage fright. why was this so? she never had felt like this when she shared riddles with larkin. her ears pinned back again as she decided to distract herself by opening the door of the watch, staring at the face.

xxxxxxxx

500 riddles

the same question always remained the same: what would happen if it reached the end? she looked up at lemarc and then over at lark. maybe one of the two would know. if not, then she'll find out from someone. someday. somehow. she shook her head and snapped the door shut. time was ticking. she was wasting time and she painfully knew it. even though she was incapable of knowing time management, she knew that time given to her by someone like her pet was very important- and she was wasting it. stellaluna gave an apologetic look at lark. lemarc would also get one- but he wasn't the one who gave her the time to share a riddle, now was he? no.

so instead of wasting even more time, she got on with it. she cleared her tiny throat and looked up at the two:

xxxxxxxx

"It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.
"

after she spoke, she instantly flipped open the door and looked up at the two. and then back down at the face. she loved to watch as the counter went down when the riddle was solved correctly. did she herself know the answer? no she did not. not right off the bat at least. she would know if it was solved correctly- but if solved incorrectly, nothing would move and she would take even more time away from the two to figure out the answer. or, she could take up this time now, waiting for the two to figure it out. it was an odd riddle, even for herself, but she'll get the answer eventually.

disclaimer; the riddle is from Tolkien's The Hobbit; the answer: darkness

luca never breaks eye contact as the fae speaks, nodding along his understanding. his gaze softens, and he even stands up slightly straighter than before - more confidently - when she compliments on his welcoming company. "of course, elysia. and no worries, you've already made my day more interesting. it's just nice to see old visitors come back." he ends his statement with a serene smile. it wasn't exactly her fault that they never grew close when they were younger. luca was quite the wild child; always into trouble, and not necessarily the best to be around. he was aware of that. now, he's more tame, but still enjoys his fun. he figured to try and take a stab at getting to know her better this time around, since she's back anyways. "ah, yes, i do think a tour is in order, that's a good start. if you'll follow me--" he steps away from the stairwell also, and begins making his way around the ground floor, opening the first door he sees, making way for elysia to see into the room. "well, this is the games room. i like to spend my time in here, as you can see why. bunch of fun stuff in here."

key continues to look through his clothes, unbothered by salem's words. in fact, he had blocked out most of it, as he was focused on the outfit he was laying out for him to wear. he holds it up to his body and stands in front of the mirror, gazing at his reflection. when the feline continues about food, that's when key's attention is back onto him. "well, i believe that you did ask me to feed you at least 15 seconds ago. did you already forget? i didn't." he flashes a smirk towards salem before his mind trails off-topic again, back to wondering what he should wear. "hm, does this look okay? i think so." he makes the decision before salem even answers, not like the cat would help with his predicament anyways. key begins shutting the door to his closet, leaving it open just a crack so that he can have a little privacy from salem while he changes. surely the feline can wait a bit longer, right? either way, key makes sure he's quick and before you know it, he's heading towards the kitchen. "alright salem, i'll give you some breakfast if you're nice to me for the whole day." key proposes with a wide grin aimed at the cat.

Jesica Gabriella Demonessia // Jess // 25 // Female // Fire-Demon // Maid // Tags- CoCo~

Jesica sipped her tea quietly as CoCo, FiFi and Mister Shellos talked amongst themselves. Jesica kept her focus on either the ground or her tea as to not pressure or disturb the three of them.

Jesica was very well aware that, of course, CoCo had puppets. That was fairly obvious. But, Jesica was perfectly fine if CoCo continued to use these puppets, as she had her youngest sister which used to use her own stuffed animals as a way to communicate.

Jesica then looked to Mister Shellos as the puppet spoke. Jesica smiled in reply, nodding her head. "I am honoured that you've allowed me to take care of CoCo, I assure you that your trust is not misplaced." She promised.

Jesica stepped back as the fox puppet yelled for a magic show. Jesica then blinked as she then smiled, her eyes glowing a light purple. "Hmm.. Alright. Now, can I ask a question?" She tilted her head as she then smiled. "Have you ever seen a a cup of tea float by itself?" Jesica asked.

Then proceeding to step back a bit as she held her own cup of tea in her hand, then stared at it for a moment before she let go, however, the cup was then surrounded in a light purple mist as it floated on its own. Jesica, of course, using her telekinesis, looked to CoCo and his puppets, softly smiling as she gently floated the cup around the room.

Francesca Mary Demonessia // Fran // 20 // Female // Siren-Demon // Homeless // Tags- Mary~

Francesca was a bit surprised at Marys sudden outburst, but smiled and giggled nonetheless. "Alrighty then! That's what we're playing!" She clapped her hands together happily.

Francesca watched as the small boy shuffled the cards, finding it kind of satisfying. But she shot her head up when Mary talked again, about her being a princess. Francesca's eyes drooped slightly. "It was fun.." She muttered.

Don't get her wrong, Francesca could talk about her kingdom for ages because she loves it so much, however.. It was painful to do so, Francesca at the moment, didn't want to talk about anything in the demon world, however, she could if Mary asks.

Francesca's head shot back up as Mary spoke, something about his father.. Truth be told, she couldn't remember what they were talking about.. Maybe something about demons..? Ughh.. Now she felt bad that she didn't remember. She just nodded her head.

Francesca stiffled a laugh as the small boy had said that there were no kings. She then shook her head after trying not to laugh. "Sorry sorry- but- it's such a kid thing to do.." She giggled, covering her mouth. It was such a child and kid thing to do.

Francesca then looked up as Mary asked if she wanted to start, she shook her head, placing her hand in her lap. "Hmm.. Nah, how about you have the beginners luck kiddo?" She tilted her head.

He couldnt help but smile. The compliment had gotten to her and he had scored a few points in that regard. He chuckled a little and watched how the woman lit up like a tomato and received the compliment so well. Perhaps he would ‘accidentally’ fall into the same grove tomorrow. Maybe that wouldnt be so bad. If it took him back here he’d do it in a heartbeat.
He blinked and tilted his head. Now she was asking about where he was from? He knew the name in Russian but he sure didnt know it in English.
“Big Mountains.. far east. Lots of snow and very isolated.” He explained to her while resting his arms over his chest. “I live by myself for many years. Family moved on. I stay behind. Then I move here, find new job. I work with horses.”
A short and sweet little blurb of his life. He didnt want it to get too convoluted for her. Even though he had just met her he had a feeling she would have loved to hear the rest but.. in the back of his mind he told himself not to go on. Not to bore anybody.
The lovely woman in front of him then went on to explain herself. He sat there with wide eyes and nodded, understanding half of it as usual. But he understood the tree.. and he understood the fact that she inhabited the grove. Since it was planted in the middle of nowhere. It made sense that it was all hers.
The conversation went south, toward the big man. He nodded and shrugged, looking down at his feet.
“Is hard to speak. Ah. I am being.. half man.. half bear.” He offered, looking over at her hoping she understood
“I can uh.. become bear. Large bear. It happens.”
He chuckled a bit before sighing and shaking his head as if shaking it off.
“Is very much. Do not worry.”
It looked like he was about to go on but it suddenly got very dark. He blinked a moment and looked up and around at the sky. It was still very blue and very sunny. No clouds. He looked back down toward Magnolia for he didnt seem to catch what was there
“What is?” He asked, looking around the little garden. Nothing seemed to be disturbed.. he rubbed his eyes and wondered if it was just him.

After The fox had declared it was time for a magic show, the sheepish bear boy (jr.) climbed on top of one of the stools within the kitchen and turned to look at the woman. Again, he did think that the actions with FiFi where abit rude, but he was excited and the puppet was for when he was going to be a tad bit outgoing behind the protective layer of a middle man. He waited though since she had offered to show him her powers after all, her question did throw him off guard. He shook his head no as well as all of his puppets.

That is when the tea cup began to float, no seriously it was floating! His eyes widened and his hands dropped to his sides, his mind temporarily forgot about hiding behind them as he blinked. Taking off his thick glasses, blinking a few times and then putting them back on. Slowly the bean stood up and almost like a moth driven to flame, moving towards the floating tea cup, until eventually he would be under the floating cup, reaching up trying to touch the purple mist. Where they some sort of strings? No, no strings. Awe was written on the wordless boy. Staring up at the cup, a small tear slid down the boys upturned face.
