Personality: Caelan is a quiet professor, only talking during his class, and prefers not to talk to the other teachers, but will if needed. Because of his past as a Team Renegade Scientist, he values intelligence, and believes science should be used to better the life of people and Pokémon, which isn't what Team Renegade wants. He shows a particular love of Pokémon breeding, more specifically, crossbreeding, despite the fact that he originally created his crossbreed Pokemon for evil intentions, he has chosen not to use them like that.
Background: Caelan used to be a scientist for Team Renegade. While other scientists tried to achieve fused Pokémon through DNA splicing, he succeeded where they failed by matching specific Pokémon together in a Daycare setting, with specialized food and caretaking causing the offspring to be a fusion of both parents. He was praised for his work by the higher ups of Team Renegade, but when he realized the creations he held dear to him were going to be used for world domination, he smuggled the two fusion Pokémon he'd created, along with all his research notes, and fled to Sinnoh. He was able to find a job at the Jubilife Academy as a teacher who taught students about the basics of breeding and crossbreeding, despite his past as a Team Renegade member.

It is p different from other gens, but it does get the legendary pokemon treatment (genderless, no breeding, etc). It's listed as one on the rp, too.
