Duke watched the competitions occasionally snarling at the other riders there weren't just Jays riders there but other stables as well that weren't as competitive with Julia as Jay was. Julia turned to Lark and whistled clicking her tongue after waiting for her paint to trot forward the crowd watched anxiously

Lark trotted forward, throwing her head a bit. She flicked her tail. She snorted and pawed the ground:

Julia smiled then took hef lead and led her around the ring every one clearly seeing her swollen belly before the woman mounted bare back and trotted to one end of the arena to barrel race her paint parting Larks head she said "come on girl let's show them what your made of"

Lark threw her head. She was ready. She flicked her tail and snorted, waiting for Julia's command to start.

Julia clicked her tongue and swqeezed her sides smiling and urged the mare forward galloping towards the first barrel and rounding it easily the second was a bit tougher as the ground was slippery and she felt Lark slipping out of position slightly but still rounding it by a centimeter then racing towards third

Lark snorted, regaining her balance, heading for the third one. She rounded it as fast she could go. It was far from as fast as Ace went, but she was carrying two, plus her own weight. She flicked her tail and pulled at the halter and lead.

Hashire Kaze had grown extremely bored, and her weight was now starting to bug her. She began to gallop around the paddock full speed, and in about two minutes she was spent. How could I let myself get this fat? she thought.

Julia smiled as Lark rounded third and raced ti the finish line Lark gaining sped slightly but easing her to a stop and smiling as app use came from the audience "Excellnt work Lark" she said kissing her

Lark snorted, winded. She flicked her tail and nudged Julia. She picked up her back hoof and set it back down. She snorted again, catching her breath.

Julia pat her "good girl good girl rest now easy does it" she cooed rubbing her swollen stomach Lark was due any day and today she did excellent Ace nuzzled her "that's my girl" He said smiling
