Shusui continued walking along the man-made road. Her round ears moving to flies that buzzed around her ears. She stiffened her legs once she noticed a group of lions; Her ears instantly pinned back before she grabbed Kikokuryu by his mohawk. Holding him back to keep him down; Not wanting to interact with the pride. Unsure if any of them were hostile to outsiders.
"Why are you holding me back?" Kiko protested with his eyes widened. She set him down but kept a firm paw around him when she sat down. Her eyes were focused on the pride; Her spots didn't help her in a way to camouflage. Her ears flicked lightly while she looked down at Kiko.
"Kiko; There's a pride," Shusui spoke; stiffening her legs. Ready to pounce at any of the lions. "I don't need you running off into them," Shusui spoke in a soothing and motherly voice. Kikokuryu looked at her with even wider eyes. She watched him crouch lowly under her while she flicked her tail lightly; Her slight mane blew in the breeze while she eyed the pride. Crouching lightly over Kiko to attempt to hide. She was mostly observing the pride, curious if they've found their pride. Probably not; But it's worth a try to attempt to join the pride. She rather has them find the two while she laid down fully. Pulling Kikokuryu close; Giving him good grooming while her tail flicked lightly against the dirt causing dust to collect on the side she was laying on. She could still watch the lions; Her eyes were mostly narrowed into slits so she could watch them better through the dead grass. Her scent was going the opposite way from them. So they shouldn't be able to notice her; If they did that would be impossible for them to scent her when her sent is going the complete opposite direction. Her teeth glimmered lightly when she opened her mouth into a large yawn. Clearly exhausted from walking; She didn't want to sleep. She turned her head, looking at Kiko sleeping; Snuggled against her stomach fur. She moved her head down as she groomed him. Getting all the dust and dirt off of his black and cream pelt. Her eyes glimmered while she groomed herself afterward. Her past mate; A king cheetah unfortunately lost his life protecting Kiko and her. Hoping that she could still have cubs of his but that would be impossible for her because he's deceased. Her teeth flashed lightly in the sunlight when she yawned again. Turning her spotted head back towards the pride...She was conflicted about what she should do. Should she keep Kiko safe by joining the pride so she wasn't the only one protecting him? Or should she continue traveling with him until they find unclaimed land? Her eyes glinted against the sunlight possibly exposing her to the other lions.

She froze. Was that a male lions voice? She moved her head, looking up at the lion; Her ears pinned back while her darkly colored spots glimmered in the sunlight while she stood up. Standing protectively over Kikokuryu, her tail lashing lightly against the dry dirt. Causing dust to collect on her tail once again. Her eyes narrowed while she let out a warning snarl. Her muzzle wrinkling; With him purring, she thought he was flirting with herself.
"What do you want?" She asked; Her cautiousness was clouding her judgment. "You better not hurt either of us." She muttered under her breath while her tail lashed lowly against the dirt.

The beautiful golden female swiveled her brown ears a moment. She shook her head, and flicked her brown hair ended tail a bit. She raised a white paw and licked it, then licked her son on the top of his head. She purred a bit and blinked amber eyes, then looked around for a moment.

The cute brown cub purred as he looked around the nursery for a moment. He flicked his tail a couple times, then stopped doing so. Green eyes blinked as he looked up at his mother for a moment. He purred a bit and raised a white paw, licking it then setting it back down.

The cute cub mewed and pounced on her brother. She giggled a bit, then looked to mother. The amber eyed cub purred as she walked to her. The black cub then rubbed on her.

The tall male sighed a bit. He blinked blue eyes a moment, then shook his head. He shook his red maned head. The golden male then yawned a bit.
