The beautiful golden female swiveled her brown ears a moment. She shook her head, and flicked her brown hair ended tail a bit. She raised a white paw and licked it, then licked her son on the top of his head. She purred a bit and blinked amber eyes, then looked around for a moment.

The cute brown cub purred as he looked around the nursery for a moment. He flicked his tail a couple times, then stopped doing so. Green eyes blinked as he looked up at his mother for a moment. He purred a bit and raised a white paw, licking it then setting it back down.

florentin's posture slumped down in the slightest of ways, a bit of displeasure shining in his posture. definitely not what he had hoped for. certainly this meant he would be at this for a while if umber was his partner for the day. out the window with his hopes of drifting off to dreamland once given his position for the day.
he caught himself grumbling out the corner of his mouth about this most unfortunate situation, quickly snapping his yap closed tightly. "oh! that's...wonderful." florentin's tone could be more enthused, but he mustered the most convincing voice he knew he possessed. as his eyes began to drift across the remainder of the pride and thoughts begin demanding they all be grateful, he landed on lea and her cubs, and he immediately softened. there were several of them, none of which he had directly interacted with, scampering around doing their own various things with her calmly laid in the midst. he knows the little ones must eat, as well as their mother. he sucked it up. releasing a deep sign, florentin turned his head back towards umber; still displeased, but at least motivated somewhat.
"well. wherever it is we're heading, we must get going. don't want to keel over from the heat."
