"Oh- no, it's not dangerous, I meant it was a duel of gift-giving. We, like... every other thing we do at the same time, decided we were competing at giving the better gift. It's a good motivator!" Lazarus explained. "I want to go first!"

"Fine, you won't be able to top mine in... technological complexity," Lucas said back. "And general usefulness."

"We'll see about that... anyways, is it okay we're doing this competitively? We can call off the duel aspect, I think..."

"Permission to give you a sympathetic pat on the back?" DVS said. "I think I've got something relatively... close to a nemesis, we haven't actually said anything but basically they're this... I don't even know, their name is Fun-eral and they confuse me to an extremely high degree."

"Very well," said Three. "What... what do you have?"

"See Fun-eral sounds fun! They have it in the name! A Baroness just keeps sending me bombs!"

"Behold!" Lazarus pulled out a plain, black baby sling out of the scarf pocket dimension. "So you can hold Morgan and do things with your arms at the same time! And in case Morgan gets bored..." He pulled out some plastic-clip keychain baby toys. "You can clip these on! Also, there's room for patches. I didn't know if you'd care about that, but you could put patches on it."

"Fun-eral may have fun in their name, but they are honestly the worst of the heroic-types to deal with? Like, with all the macabre themes and death jokes, you'd expect them to just be a villain, and they're practically a parallel to me - I'm the doctor, they're the... funeral planner or whatever... But I'm the villain and they're the hero, and it's like... subversive but I have no idea if Fun-eral is doing even remotely well."

Three smiled. "Thank you, Lazarus. This should be very useful. Are patches... helpful, for babies?"

"Yeah, but at least they make jokes!" Scorpius was saying. "Has anyone ever heard A Baroness make a joke? Ever?"

"Hey Scorpius?" said Cazenar. "If you're not having fun, you don't have to keep having her as your nemesis. There's really no point in having one if you're not getting anything out of it, don't just stay because you think it makes you a better villain. You're a terrible villain anyway."

"And you," Cazenar turned to DVS, ignoring Scorpius. "Don't make zir mistakes. Think about whether you actually what Funeral Fun as your nemesis, tell them how you're feeling, and if you don't want to be nemeses, maybe take a break from fighting for a bit?"

Aurion sniffed. "You're being rather supportive there, Vampyroteuthilda. Not everyone can have what we have. Stay with your terrible nemeses."

"...Oh, you guys haven't even heard of what they plan for the reboot. I don't even know how they're going about it, but for whatever reason they're shifting Fun-eral's alignment, probably because death's... too edgy of a theme," he sighed. "I have no idea if it'd be better to have them there or here or what."

"You haven't heard?" Bon Voidage asked.

"Heard what?"

"Well, reboot has more in store for us than just that. I'll try to make this sound dramatic or something... uh... I'll leave you on a cliffhanger for next time! There. Most of you, anyways. There will be more... divulged into this secret. But not now."

"Not particularly, unless you can... hm, well, I might be able to make something useful... but generally speaking, no. But I think I could do something," Lazarus said. "Wait, did Liquidzarus and Lucdust go out in the hall?"

"I think," Lucas said. "And, while your gift is certainly a baby essential, and useful indeed, I present to you..."

"Lucas. Those are just cloth nappies. Would Three even want to use those?"

"I had a point here. The point was, that these are not normal ones. Those... are very, very controversial among the internet, apparently."

"And among the baby-knowing community in general. Even outright battles have been held over them, Lucas! Are you trying to make war plans? Without me?"

"War? Is... this an Inamonthian thing?"

"Oh, we're going to have to go over Vague Inamonthian History again, aren't we..."

"Anyways, I am not making war plans, and these are equipped with pocket-dimension technology, more specifically fine tuned to be baby-safe and also lead into an abyss rather than some sort of inhabited dimension, though you will still have to clean Morgan, because I found no solution to that. Basically, these are designed to be as optimal as I could make them, and later versions might exist, but for now... Voidiapers V1: you won't have to buy nappies anymore and you don't even have to wash these (unless the outside gets dirty, which should take a lot longer than regular diapers anyways, because as from my testing, the material I used was pretty resistant to a lot of things anyways whilst still having comfortable-capability.)"

Three gave another smile. "Thank you, Lucas! I must admit, while I am very much enjoying getting to know Morgan, changing nappies is... not my favourite part of that. Which is a regreattable fact about humans, Morgan, and does not reflect badly on you at all. I will love you no matter how often I have to clean your excretion. But... yes. Thank you, Lucas. They will be comfortable for Morgan, won't they?"

"I suppose that's not bad as a cliffhanger," Cazenar was saying. "But I expect to hear more about this reboot next game's night."

"They should be. But if anything seems off by any means, I'll tinker around with them a bit more," Lucas affirmed.

"Yeah, it's... best if I tell DVS before the rest of you. There's a lot. Like... a lot a lot," Bon Voidage winced a bit. "Unless you have the memo already."

"Not... to my knowledge. Should I be worried?" DVS asked.

"I have no idea. I don't even know if I should be worried."

"Now this is an excellent cliffhanger. You know, I think I'm even looking forward to game night," said Cazenar.

"So, are we playing more games?" said Scorpius. "Because I'm pretty sure there's another duel happening outside. And y'know, maybe you guys could all just organise a duel night seperately from game night."
