Featured Users



Featured Users is a way for users to get noticed when they have their lights on. We will occasionally go through the list of users and randomly pick out 10 who have their lights on and post those 10 in a Featured Users.

You will still need to check the lights status of the users! Don't send them messages unless their lights are on. Their lights may be on at the time I post the list, but they may change their status before you see it, so always check.

Additionally, please do not quote/repost this if you are commenting on it.

how have you guys been deciding how many treats you give out?
last year i had a set number, this year i just decided to base it on
how much i like the story & dress-up.. but it's also based on their
wishlist, since i try really hard to only give out WL treats.. although
it seems that i've broken my own rule, since i haven't tricked
anyone this year, but i still feel bad when i end up having to
give them something non-wl because i don't have a single pet or
item they actually want

I tend to base it on the merits of the stories and dressups, then the newbies get more too!
I never trick because if I dont have anything on a player's wl, it might be on the wl of someone who visits them later!

You know what's funny? I was thinking today "goodness, suma, you don't have any rhyme or reason for what treats you hand out to whom, do you?" xD Sometimes I give rares, sometimes I give regular VC/C/UC, sometimes I give items; it doesn't really seem to matter whether the story or dressup were particularly notable (though I always have a soft spot for Valentine's dressups). I try to make my treat be a Wishlist pet/item whenever I can because I know that would be my preference, but I also consider giving anything at all to be a treat to the ToTer, Wishlist or not. It's not like we get to go around to houses with a list of the candies we like! We get the free thing we're given for our costumed efforts. ^^ That's how I feel~

on a slightly different note? has anyone seen any super unique costumes this year? i love seeing what people come up with

I've seen a few! I can't recall them off the top of my head though.

Anyone else take longer to accept treats than to send them? I'm worried that people are going to think I'm ignoring their treats (in all cases it's been less than a day), but a lot of people send RP messages with their treats and I like to send an RP reply in return. I also tend to send long messages for those who send especially generous treats.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I've seen more people with greeters this year than normal. There are always a good number, but normally I also get a lot that are just like, "Happy Halloween! Here's your treat!" This year it feels like almost every single one has a greeter and RP message. Which is fun! I like that! But it is taking me a lot more time to respond.

I think the person who used multiple tutus to make a frilly Princess Belle dress was really cool.

Yes!! I already have a few favorites! I love it when people get creative with it and dress them up as movie or game characters, especially if I recognize them!!
I hadn't even realized the Belle dress was made out of a ton of tutus... that makes it even more impressive!
I quite enjoyed the Among Us trick or treater that visited me.
I believe I also had Peter Quill visit my house too!

There have been some amazing costumes this year all around, and some very good stories even for the plainest of costumes. Everyone's been so creative.

I absolutely adore two types of trick-or-treaters:
1) those who've dressed up as someone from another Holiday, particularly Valentine's Day
2) those who are an unusual lineart with items that don't typically fit (Malk pets, hamsters, etc.)

Absolutely flawless all around
