(Crysthalla and the Star Gate)

Glittered stars line a silver wall, that extends far beyond the galaxy.
In the middle stands a stone archway lined with seven bright stars along the bricks.
In the center, a glistening sphere of light floats in an endless spiral, sending star dust and cosmos particles throughout the galaxy.

This place is a very special place, it is known as the Star Gate a magical gateway that leads to a hidden planet,
A planet call Crysthalla, A place of Crystal and light.

The planet got it's name do it it's reflective surface and it's core being made of pure Crystal.
What makes this planet so breath taking and radiant, is the fact that it's center core is exposed due to the fact that a chunk of the planet is missing.
No one really knows how the planet came to be this way, but one thing is center, and that is, it adds to this planets enchanting charm.

Crysthalla was crafted with large metal plates above and below the planet, and with a strong magnetic force it connects the plates together. It was designed this way to hold the planet in place, making Crysthalla to be like one large Space Station of sorts.
The plates also made it easier for ships to take of, and for smoother safer landings for returning ships.

The knowledge of Crysthalla doesn't exist beyond the Star Gate, it's name is never spoken of, and it can't be found on any charts.
In other words Crysthalla simply does not exist.

It's due to the Star Gate that keeps this planet so secret and safe,
As the center sphere is a type of portal that leads to Crysthalla.
But not just anyone, or anything can pass through this portal, it takes a very special item to unlock Crysthalla.
These items are called Star keys, special stars that come from every planet that is visited for the first time.
But again, not just anyone can collect these stars, only the inhabitants of Crysthalla, know as the Crystalens
Had the ability to collect these stars. Make them to be the only ones to enter the Star Gate and come and go from Crysthalla.
The star keys are very special, as the only way these stars can be collected is by coming in contact with a Crystalen.
The star keys Infuse themselves into the shine of the Crystalens, giving their shine a more radiant glow.
And it is because of the way that the star keys were stored, the Crystalen were able to continuously pass through the Star Gate.

If one were to try to pass through without enough, or any Star Keys then they would simply pass through as if it was an empty doorway. For it's the star keys that open the Star Gate, and it's the Star Gate that makes this invisible planet seen.

So though many have tried and will continue to try and unlock the mystery of the Star Gate,
It and the planet Crysthalla will forever remain, one of the Galaxy top mysteries.

(The black hole)

The stars glistened across the galaxy as Astra sat on one of the outer plates of Crysthalla.
Her long hair waved in a smooth motion as it drifted through the atmosphere that made space what it was.
Here eyes sparkled as she gazed at a shooting star that shot across the sky leaving a color of light behind staining the sky, making that magical color of the Galaxy.

Letting out a gentle breath, she slowly pushed herself to her feet and leapt off the edge and took flight with her space jetpack, sending Small fragments of glitter to flow behind her as she shot across the sky.
The glitter of her Elemental space radiated of her as she sped through the stars, it's colors merging beautifully with the Galaxies.

Slowly coming to a stop Astra gazed at all that surrounded her, every beautiful and radiant color reflecting off her helmet. Slowly her eyes came to a rest on the Star Gate, the center sphere seeming to shine more and more brightly with each passing year. The star dust poured out like a great sea wave, soaking everything in its path. Even the cosmos had grown more vast with the passing of time. And It seemed as though with every passing day Astra's heart had grown more and more attached to the stars that raced across the sky. She had come to envy those stars. Well she was stuck here they got to journey beyond her home and see everything that the Galaxy had to offer.
And though she had been warned many times about leaving the planet without a space craft, let alone leaving by herself.
Astra just couldn't help herself, as it felt like everything Within her, called her out to space.

Looking back at her home planet Astra slowly shifted her gaze once more on the Star Gate before thrusting herself forward and through the center sphere. Letting out a long held breath, she slowly opened her eyes wide to see a vast number of stars, much more than she could see from her planets atmosphere. Gazing back she saw the large wall of star dust that poured down from the Star Gate. Lifting her tail up she gave her head a satisfied nod as she saw the seven stars on her shiny match the ones glowing on the Star Gate, it was true that the Star Gate was the only way to reach Crysthalla, and it was thanks to the star keys that made it possible to pass through the portal. But in some way it was rather lonely to be from a planet that was hidden from all existence, turning her gaze back towards the Galaxy, Astra thrusted herself upwards and launched towards a speeding meteor that was shooting across the sky.


Her eyes reflect the many colors that came from the many wonders of space. The bright glow of the stars, the streaking colors of the meteor, the many Nebulas and their significant airbrushed colors, the radiant shine of the milky-way,
And the glitter of the Star Gate. All the things that make the Galaxy a painting of pure art.
As Astra zipped across the sky alongside the meteor, her elemental space trailed behind her, leaving a mark of color in the sky. From a distance one would think she was a shooting star the way her colors glowed, slowly she came to a stop and watched as the meteor continued on across the sky, with her heart pounding in her chest.
Twirling around Astra let out a loud yell of delight as she spread her arms out and gazed into the vastness of the sky.

Closing her eyes, she slowly placed her paws over her chest before letting out a deep breath as she listened to the sounds of space. Stars crackling like stepping onto fresh snow, a whispering hush as the lack of gravity shifted. The hissing of star dust spiraling in an Endless Circle, vibrations of meteors crashing through the stars, and lastly stillness and peace, the kind that could only be found here.
As Astra floated in place, with her heart no more than a flutter, she slowly let out a slow soothing breath as the stars continued to spiral around here.

Suddenly a massive shock wave struck Astra sending her tumble through the air, followed by a horrifying sound, as if the sky had cracked and split open. Lifting her head up with her heart racing, Astra quickly pulled herself together and began to quietly speed of towards the Star Gate. Her mind was in a panic as she was still startled at what could have happened, but all she knew was that she needed to get within that safety of Crysthalla
As she speeded forward, Astra began to notice several stars zipping past her. But wait.... She's going forward, shouldn't she be the one Zipping past them? Trying to come to a stop Astra found herself still being thrusted forward.
Finally that's when all horror hit her, her eyes froze with Terror, as many stars were being pulled past her, the space that radiated off of her evaporated from the sheer force that pulled her forward.
Quickly black smoke began to reach out towards her as a massive sink hole began to spiral in front of her. Slowly the center began to shine with light, as the spiraling smoke transformed into a full-fledged black hole, sucking all into its destruction. With eyes filling with tears Astra let out a horrified scream as she tried to activate her jetpack and pull out. But by the time she got her jetpack to work she was already pulled into the strongest of its grasp.
Glancing back in Terror, Astra thrashed her arms forward trying every last desperate attempt to escape.
Her eyes locked on the Star Gate that stood in the distance her hand slowly reaching out as darkness gradually consumed her, and all life vitals went blank.

(Darkness and Space)

A pricing sound range in Astra's ear striking her nerve system. Slowly she began to slowly flutter her eyes open,
Her head felt thick, and boy numb, all around sat darkness, and the endless whispers of space.
The atmosphere was cold and bleak, as she floated in a daze.

Suddenly within an instant everything came rushing back as Astra struck her eyes open to see the endless stars staring right back at her.
Her breath began to quicken as her eyes darted back and forth.
Darkness... Space... Darkness... space... Darkness! SPACE!!!,

Her breath grew more rapid as her helmet began to fog up from hyperventilation, her heart beated at such a rate that she could faint.
Letting out a screaming she quickly began thrashing around, sending herself spinning through the zero-gravity air.
"Were am I! What happened! Somebody.... Anyone... HELP ME!!!"
Letting out another scream, tears began to descend from Astra's eyes. All around her were stars, it was bright, and beautiful as the Galaxy had always been, but for some reason this time felt different, the stars felt like eyes, eyes that were staring into her very soul. And the whispers, felt like empty bones cracking in the distance. The galaxy had seemed so different In the state of mind that Astra was In.
Finally coming to a stop Astra slow place her hand over her chest as she tried to get herself together,
The stars were spinning, her mind was racing, she felt distant from her body as she floated there.
But now was not the time to panic, she needed to get herself together... She had to.

How she survived was a mystery, but first things first, she needed to make sure that she wasn't injured, that there wasn't any punctures in her suit.
Second, make sure the area is safe, and that she is safe.
The next step try to make contact with somebody... It doesn't really matter who, as long as there was somebody out there.

Taking several deep breath Astra slow gazed around her, before lowering her head. Images of the black hole wanting to creep back into her mind. Giving her head a vigorous shake she quickly pulled her mind back on track and pressed a small button on Her helmet.
"Hello! Hello!! Is anybody there? Please respond there's been an emergency, I repeat there's been an emergency please respond!!"

"Hello this is Astra connecting Crysthalla tower do you respond!"

"IS ANYONE THERE!"

"I repeat, is anyone there!! Can you hear me!"

"CAN ANYBODY HERE ME!!!"

"PLEASE SOMEBODY ANSWER ME!!!..... please...please"

Lowering her hand and head Astra's whole body began to tremble as she pulled both her hands to her chest as tears began to fall from her eyes and onto the glass of her helmet. All Communications were down, even if there was a ship nearby, she would be invisible to them... There was no way she could reach out to anybody.
Gripping her suit Astra lunged her head forward and let out a shrill scream, as more tears fell from her eyes.
"HELP ME!!!"

"Help... Help... He... H"

Slowly things began to grow dark as Astra slowly lost consciousness.
Hours passed as she floated in place, her head and arms lowered, slowly her body drifted upward, allowing small beams of light to shine on her face.

Slowly opening her eyes, Astra gazed up at the stars before pushing herself forward in shock.
Placing her hand on her helmet Astra let out a shaky breath before drifting her vision in all sorts of directions.
Her eyes couldn't possibly keep to the beauty of the Galaxy at this point... Space seemed so different... So much darker than it had.
"That's right... I'm alone"

As Astra turned her head she watched as the space that drifted from her ears, slowly spiral around her and passed her tail
Suddenly her whole body frozen in complete terror as she steard at her tail. A shaky breath escaped her lips as she reached her hands out, both shaking uncomfortably.
"No.... Please, no..."
her tail, though it seemed fine was of a far wars horrible tragedy.
Though everything was intact, it was the stars in her shine that had brought this great fear apron her.
The glow of the stars was no more, they were dull with no reflection to be seen.
And for a Crystalen that can only truly mean one thing.

Her star keys had been lost... The knowledge of how was unknown, nor did it matter, that fact was, Astra was never getting home.
Slowly tears began to fill her eyes as she let go of her tail, her vision blurred, to wear the stars around her vanished, and was nothing more then smudges of light. Curling her knees into her chest, she wrapped her arms around her legs and pressed her helmet into her legs, as an endless rain of tears drift from her eyes....

Space... That was all she had. Cold, dark, empty, space.
Not even the Cosmos seemed bright anymore, all around were stars and more stars. Darkness, and more darkness.

And Crysthalla nor the Star Gate were nowhere to be seen.

(The plane)

The Stars glistened, with a few shooting stars zipping across the sky.
Hidden within the blanket of the stars Astra floated gently through the sky, she was still curled up in a ball from the trauma that she had endured. Her eyes were closed her breath slow, her long leashes grazed her cheeks, as they gently twitched as she began to stir from her slumber. Slowly her eyes opened with the reflection of the stars shining within them. Blinking her eyes into focus, Astra slowly let go of her legs and pushed her arms out as she gazed around.

Though her heart felt heavy, and her mind clouded, The Galaxy didn't seem as dark as before.
It wasn't bright like it had been, but it was definitely better. Hope had left her, making her feel like an empty shell.
The call with in her left that brought her out to space was gone, and all that remained was the desire to return home to Crysthalla.

Slowly as she gazed at the stars around her, she couldn't help but stare at her tail.
The seven-star keys that allowed her to go to and from the Star Gate were gone.
She was in a different part of space, one that she had never been to before.
There was no telling where or how far she was from her home., hope truly seemed impossible...
Was this to be her destiny, I life doomed to forever float through space until the end of her life... To float to the Edge of space until she froze to death. Or perhaps until her oxygen runs dry.

Lowering her gaze Astra suddenly froze as she noticed a small light on her arm flashing.
Slowly reaching her hand out she pressed the button, Suddenly a hologram appeared in front of her,
It was a small light that gave off a gentle glow. Her eyes grew wide as she stared at the glowing sphere.
Reaching her hand out the holographic sphere suddenly flashed before revealing a small planet.
Astra turned to gaze at the plant, before her eyes rested back on the flashing sphere.

Tears began to run down her face as she turned back towards the hologram planet. slowly she reached her hand out gently brushing against the hologram, as a small tear ran down her face.

Within an instant the hologram flickered, before slightly fading,
Astra slowly placed her paw against the glass of her helmet as she began to cry, a small smile grew across her face as she gazed at the stars the surrounded her. Finally... Finally there was hope.

Locking her eyes on the planet one finally time Astra had finally understood what the glowing sphere was,
Her suit had a holographic map built in, as well as a pinpoint of her location. This... This planet wasn't far from where she was.
Though she didn't know what was on This planet, I mean it could be dangerous, but anything was better than just floating here
The light on her suit gave a small spark before fading out, and the hologram disappeared, with small particles returning to her suit, leaving Astra in the dark once more.
With a few final tears running down her face Astra rose her head up and turned in the Direction of the new planet.
Reaching back Astra closed her eye giving a small prayer that her jetpack still worked.
After a few clicks, the jetpack let out a strange sound, like that of a dying engine.
Astra lowered her head as fear began to sink in.

"NO... no"

Lifting her head up with a determined look on her face she slowly reached back to give it another try, she could give up... Not well there's a small beam of hope!
Suddenly sparks began to blow from the jetpack and Astra found herself being trusted forward.
It worked! The jetpack worked!!
Speeding through the stars Astra allowed herself a few tears as she gazed at the Horizon.

After quite a journey Astra found herself Nearing a big blue planet,
Slowly she came to a stop as a massive star approached her. Slowly the star turned into dust and dissolved itself into one of her shines. "A...A star key!"
Astra eyes grew with surprise as she gazed at her tail. Everything had happened so fast that she didn't stop to think, by entering the new planet's atmosphere that she would get a star key.
Though it was just one, it brought warmth to her heart to have something that reminded her of home and the Star Gate.

Reactivating her jetpack, Astra sped off towards the planet, her heart filling with courage.
The moment she entered the new planet Astra was quick to get a run down of the strange plan,
It didn't take long, especially with her suit to help her, that she found that the planet was manly made of water.
The good news was that the air was breathable, the water drinkable, there was food that was safe to eat, and the planet was quite cool. It was safe and peaceful planet that she titled as Planet 2000.
It was nice to be able to have gravity again as well as it was nice to remove her helmet, the planet was gorgeous and peaceful, the perfect place to start a new life.

Astra had stayed on the planet for some time resting and trying to adapt to this new environment.
Months went by, and on one particular day as the sun began to set, Astra sat on the soft sand with her hair blowing in the breeze as she gazed out across the water. The breeze felt nice that evening, and the planet was truly beautiful, but it just wasn't home it could never be.
Slowly she turned her gaze at her tail and watched as the small star gave off a gentle glow.
Looking at her suit she slowly grabbed it and looked at the small button that had activated the hologram that brought her to this place. It was clear that the black hole had done some damage to her suit and seeing as there wasn't much more she could do, she slowly grabbed out her pocket knife, and began to mess with the small panel.

Suddenly a bright light burst from the button and a massive holographic solar system appeared.
Planets and stars surrounded her as she sat there with her eyes wide as slowly pushed herself to her feet.
Turning in small circles, she looked at each hologram until she stopped in front of a familiar sight.

"The-the Star Gate!!"

Astra stared at the hologram as tears began to run down her face,
It was home. Turning to look at the several planets, Astra froze as she gazed at her tail before looking back at the Holograms.

"Planets... Planets bring star keys... Star keys open the Star Gate... A path."

Looking at the Holograms Astra ran her finger through the different plants, zigzagging back and forth until her finger restart on the Star Gate. "That's it! I'll Forge a path! Get supplies at each stop! Collect the star keys and return home!!"
Suddenly Astra froze as she gazed at the holograms, and slowly reality struck her.
Each planet was too far away, there was no way she'd be able to get to each solely on her jetpack.
It was beyond impossible... A self-sentenced to death if she were to try.

Dropping to her knees, tears began to fall from her eyes as she sat there, a glimmer of hope came, only to teaser with despair. Suddenly a small beeping sound caught her attention, as she slowly lifted her head up, Astra eyes rest on a bright light coming from the planet she was on... It wasn't a life force, but it was a strong energy... A center energy that can only come from a... "A ship!? "
Jumping to her feet once more Astra looked at the hologram then at the beeping light, if there really is a ship on this planet... Then maybe, just maybe!

As the sun slowly began to rise over the horizon, small beams of light began to shine across the surface,
Astra stood with her feet just at the water's edge, her eyes glistened with hope as she gazed across the water.
Though this planet was fair and beautiful, it was time for her to return home.

Lifting her arm up, she quickly switched her watch on and watched as a small beam of light shot across the water...
If there is a ship out there, she was going to find it.
Placing her helmet over her head, she turned to give one last look at the island that she had been living on for months and gave a gentle smile before taking off across the water.
She had programed her watch to lead her towards the energy source, it took a lot of components from her space suite.
And if the ship turned out to be a bust, then any chance of her ever leaving would be lost... But it was a risk she had to take.

As she flew across the water, she couldn't help but smile as she watched her reflection, the space elements that came from her seemed even more radiant. It was a new day, and her heart was filled with hope once more.

The more ocean she crossed the more the light on her watch began to flash.
Though her hope was high, on the thought of finding a ship, she could help but question how the ship got here.
There were no life detected, so the only possible way a ship could've been here is if it crashed...
And with a planet made of ocean... No, she had to remain positive, she couldn't spend her time thinking on the what ifs,
She had to keep her head high and look to the future. She could return to that darkness.

Suddenly pulling to a stop Astra saw a small island in the distance, that watch seemed to lead exactly to it, which brought some relief to Astra's mind. At least it wasn't lost under the sea.
Speeding forward she quickly landed on the ground and rushed through some of the planet life.
Her watch flash every half second. Her heart pounded quickly within her chest with every step she took.
"Please let it be there... Please let it be there.... Please!"

Bursting through a few shrubs Astra froze as she gazed out at a small spacecraft that sat half buried in the sand.
Instantly tears began to flow from her face as she ripped if her helmet.
It was a ship! A really ship!! Right now she didn't care if it could fly or not, the fact was it was a ship!!
Running up to its cool metal surface she quickly pulled off her glove and placed it against the ship, her whole body trembled as she gazed up at it.

Upon further examination Astra found the ship to be a small self flying spacecraft.
It was a type of ship that was programmed to fly without a pilot, to different planets to gather information for future space explorations.
On most occasions this ship would hed back to its headquarters, but in rare occasions it would make an emergency landing on the nearest planet, where it would fall out of space craft detection and would stay forever lost.
This ship clearly had made such a landing and had been left to sit for years. And with the water pressure rising each night, the ship had slowly begun to sink into the sand, being buried each night.

Grabbing a large stick, Astra managed to work her way into prying the hatch door open.
The ship was clearly old, and outdated, but still in good condition. Walking towards the engine panel she gently ran her hand across the many panels before coming to a stop on a small button.
If the ship had made an emergency landing then that would mean it has put itself in an emergency shutdown mode,
So if the ship was still operational then this button would be the thing to do it.
Taking a deep breath Astra closed her eye, as she pressed in the button.
Immediately many light turned on, and all systems came on, the ship was fully operational!

Astra's eyes filled with tears as she slowly took a seat at the captain's chair.
Slowly she began to activate different switches, it wasn't long until the hatch door closed and the sound of the thrusters hearing up sounded. Slowly the ship began to shake and pull as it broke free from the packed sand and in seconds the ship was in the air!
A cry of joy broke free from Astra as she stood and gazed out the dirt-stained window.

Pulling the panel from her arm, she quickly attracted the wiring to the ones on the shop and watched as the hologram of the path that she had created appeared on a small screen...
The coordinates were set, the ship worked... Finally she could go home!


Sitting back down, she quickly switched the thrusters to full power and launched from the planet's atmosphere.
The next stop was to the planets 0047 and so on and so forth.

It would be months until she would return home, and many changes await her.
But hope had given her one last chance, and she was going to take it to the end.
