What made your day? (V.3)

I got one of my wisdom teeth taken out that was causing a lot of pain. And even though it needs to heal and hurts now I know it will be better later so I'm really glad I got it taken out c:

This happened yesterday but it still makes me happy today:

-my sister had the day off work and it was SO nice having a whole day for just us two. I love her so much and I always have my best days with her. <3 She always makes me feel 110% better and all of life's stresses fades when I'm with her.

-me and my sis had a deep 20 minute conversation and I really needed that. We talked about what we want in our future and where we want to go in life and man, I have been feeling lost and uncertain but this talk cleared my head. Helped me realize that I should do what I want and not what people expect or my family expects or what my siblings did or what other people do. I'm me and I can decide my life. I can live a life that may look lazy to some but to me, would be heaven on earth. I'm so glad we have similar thoughts and goals and dreams and hopes. <3 I'll remember that conversation forever.

-ha, after that, we had 20 minute stupid conversation. I was at the bottom of the stairs, heading to the shower, and she was at the top of the stairs, about to vacuum, but we got distracted and started screaming and being stupid. Our humor when we're together is kinda "dirty" and off the wall and DANG, we laughed soooo hard. It was the best. x,D It went from talking about chicken to... well, OTHER THINGS. 🤣

-me and my sis listened two amazing songs for the first time yesterday. Loser by Kenshi Yonezu and Criminal by Taemin. Both MVs knocked my socks off and I. FREAKING. LOVE. THE. SONGS. We listened to them on loop for so much of the day, I can't even begin to count how many times I heard those two. (Yo, okay, Loser's lyrics was relatable and were heartbreakingly beautiful and I love Kenshi's dance style and rap style and INEEDTOLEARNTHEDANCE. And WoW tAeMin, DON'T BE SO HOT AND SCARY AND BEAUTIFUL. He never EVER ceases to amaze me and his MVs/songs are always done perfectly. PERFECTLY. When you click a MV of Taemin's, you'll know it'll be stunning. It's a fact.)

-I SET UP A REDBUBBLE STORE YESTERDAY AND I FEEL SO FLIPPING HAPPY I FINALLY DID IT. It was so fun and I'm so excited to put on more of my art on there. Also, my sister made a shop too and I'M SO PROUD OF HER AND I NEED TO BUY HER STUFF. PRONTO.

-me and my sis cleaned up our room in the evening and put up a poster and moved stuff around so we can fit FIVE FLIPPING MORE UP. ;u; Of course, we listened to Kenshi and Taemin the whole time. And also, I love how clean our room has become this year, it's sooo nice. ;-;

-watched another two episodes of The Secret Life of my Secretary last night and THEY WERE BOTH SO GOOD. There was a scene in one of them I want to draw because it made me so happy and sad and it was probably one of my favorite scenes ever.

And one thing that made my day that happened today:

-I'm working on some art for Loser and I was super scared and sure I was going to fail at getting what I wanted across on the actual canvas but it's turning out nicely and I'm very very happy. <3333

because i don't have very many friends and i'm hoping this one lasts!! ^^

my absolute favourite band released their new album today and i fell in love SO hard, its SO good,, every song on it is absolutely gorgeous

im rewatching the goonies & it is honestly such a trainwreck of a movie & i am living for it !!
also i started back at work this week since we got sent home from campus so i'll be saving a lot of money this fall.

I have been super tired this week, which I think contributed to me being a bit down as well, but today I slept in, chilled out all day, and caught up on my reading, and it felt so good. ❤️

this is such a small thing but it made my week.
the maintenance guy came, fixed the stuff he needed to fix, and he did it all while treating me like a cis guy + i swear to god i have never felt more validated.
there is a distinct difference in the way people treat me when i don't pass, when i do pass and when people aren't sure, and from my experience he recognised me as a man and it felt really, really good.
especially considering i was in my pyjamas with no binder on and hugging my chest, a trans pride flag up on my wall in plain sight.
it's stupid but i haven't been confidently gendered correctly by a stranger in so so long and i want to cry
